VIDEO: Popular gossiper, Musa Khawula kicked out of a night club

Musa Khawula was invited to the recently held DSTV Content Creator Awards. However, while tweeps might have expected that Khawula would get it from all Mzansi celebrities which were present at the festivities, nothing was further from the truth. It seems that the only other entity that is not afraid of social media backlash from their treatment of Khawula is Sandton celebrity hotspot, Monarch.

As always with Musa Khawula commentary on Twitter, we expect some shade in his descriptions of the events of the night, and he did not disappoint. However, it was our Mzansi celebrities who were present that seemed to disappoint. The biggest of which was Lasizwe Dambuza.

VIDEO: Popular gossiper, Musa Khawula kicked out of a night club

Dambuza who was an attendee at the Content Creator has been vocal over his disdain over Khawula initially labelling him a “pathological liar” for allegedly fabricating that Dambuza was dating YouTuber and businessman, Jabu Brown. Moreover, when Khawula suggested that Lasizwe did not deserve to get on Forbes 30 under 30. But looking at the interaction during the event, you would not know that because Dambuza was all smiles and giggles with Khawula. A surprise more so as Khawula has made his best friend’s life, Mihlali, a living hell on social media.

The only person who seemed bothered by Musa Khawula’s commentary is Pabi Cooper. Scheduled as the closing performance of the event. Khawula used all of his chest to suggest that Cooper, who is currently one of the hottest acts, can’t dance to save her life (the last part was added for jokes). Pabi might have not confronted him there, but she did throw some shade via Twitter.

On Twitter, tweeps wanted to see Moshe Ndiki return. More so as Khawula seemed to attempt to instigate another beat down with his salty tweet about Ndiki.

However, our MVP for the night seems to have been popular celebrity nighttime hotspot, Monarch, in Sandton.

While everyone else seems to have been chummy with Khawula in fear of what he might tweet. The eatery and club frequented by all your faves and influencers, allegedly did not waste time prohibiting Khawula from even entering. Their reasoning was simple, “they know him.”

Seemingly, the nighttime hotspot was aware that there were happenings in the club that was going that Khawula was not meant to see. A fair assumption if you have ever been or heard of what happens in Monarch. It is not about what Khawula seems to suggest, but the hotspot is one of the exclusive nightspots where everyone is allowed some form of anonymity.

ANC is like a used condom that will be dumped again, says Julius Malema

Leader of the Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) Julius Malema has described the governing African National Congress (ANC) as a used condom that will be dumped at any time.

Malema was addressing the EFF’s People’s Assembly in Gauteng on Sunday.

Malema accused the ANC of misleading residents of Gauteng, citing a promise that was made to residents of Alexandra, north of Johannesburg a few years ago when President Cyril Ramaphosa in his capacity as ANC leader promised residents houses during a campaign trail.

“This was just an election tactic by the ANC that has failed to give our people houses in Alexandra after promising them one million houses in 2019.

“Our people are being misled by the ANC that the problem in their lives begins with fellow Africans,” Malema said.

“We must as Pan Africanists declare here and now the Africans are not our enemies and that our enemy is white monopoly capital, that our enemies are the owners of the means of production and those who stole our land and are still in possession of stolen goods.

“The ANC is also not our enemy but it is a tool that is used by the enemy to perpetuate the interest of the enemy forces, so instead of saying the ANC is the enemy, we must know that the ANC is like a used condom that will be dumped at any time once they’ve finished using it because they don’t love the ANC,” Malema said.

He said the housing problems of Alexandra exist to this day ever since Ramaphosa left the township with locals turning on their fellow African brothers for their own misery while knowing where the ANC headquarters are situated.

‘Thanks bye’: Dr Malinga so grateful for love & support from Mzansi

Mzansi musician, Dr. Malinga has expressed gratitude to the various celebrities who extended a helping hand after revealing that SARS has wiped his house clean.

Following his emotional interview on Podcast and Chill with MacG, where he spoke about his financial problems and issues with South African Revenue Services (SARS), Dr. Malinga had a few celebrities reaching out to help him and he is grateful.

Dr. Malinga thanked all these celebrities for their selfless act of kindness and they are Black Coffee, Oskido, Busiswa, Kabza De Small, Julius Malema, Makhadzi, and of course his fans.

Fighting back his tears, Dr. Malinga spoke about how SARS seized and auctioned his furniture in his presence. He said his place is empty because of this and explained that the effects of COVID-19 put him in this position.

The award-winning muso, said he sought the help of people he used to work with and the arts and culture minister, Nathi Mthethwa but nobody bothered to help him.

“After two years, SARS came. I called Minister Nathi Mthethwa, we talked. Sometimes when I am hungry don’t advise that you have to plough, just dish out for me. I am not bath mouthing him, I am talking about what happened. I was calling people that I worked with, but they didn’t come to my rescue,” he said. “They took everything. When you enter my house, if you don’t have a heart, you will laugh. My house is empty,” he said.

Dr. Malinga revealed that in total he owes SARS R500 000.

“Auction is painful. I was there, I went there, and then I wanted to say ‘please is not like I don’t want to pay, I don’t have money. I am not trending. I don’t have songs. I am not being called at gigs and I can’t force people to book me,” he said.

“Every time I give people, they don’t come for me” He continued “Musa Khawula announced that everything had been taken from me, I was fine about that before because they took them in July and I thought I could recover whatever was due to SARS but I couldn’t because money is not coming in,” he added.

Another celebrity who recently received help from people is Zahara. She too owed the bank some money and was on the brink of being homeless as her house was about to get auctioned.

“A month back your Country Girl came out and spoke about how she’s on the verge of losing her house and asked for Donations in coming up with the R350 000 the bank wanted. Your Country Girl came out and spoke about her financial problems to show ownership of her life moving forward.

“Thank you to each and every individual who donated and helped out, your contributions were very helpful.. Nenze njalo nakwabanye. The auction that was scheduled tomorrow is canceled. Thank you for your donations and prayers,” she captioned the post.

Bianca Naidoo, the partner of late South African rapper Riky Riky recently celebrated her 40th birthday. Toll Ass Mo’s wife Ms Mome shared some moments from Bianca’s special day beside Riky’s mother and siblings.

In a recent interview with SABC News, Bianca opened up about how she has been coping with the loss of her partner and father of her kids.

Naidoo revealed that some days are easier while some aren’t, however, her support structure and most importantly their kids, have kept her going.

“Some days are easier than others. I manage with such an amazing support structure around me, and the kids also give me a lot of strength. The days when I’m not okay, I allow myself to be not okay.” she started off.

She says she has been open with their kids about their dad’s passing from the beginning.

“I was very open from the beginning, from day one, about what happened to dad. I talk a lot with children, I listen a lot. Now they are comfortable expressing themselves and they both process in their own way. They know that if they have questions, they can come and ask and talk about it, and I think they’re both there. It’s just a matter of me being honest.”

Bianca notes that two most difficult days have been Riky’s birthday and Father’s Day and Ricky’s birthday.

“Last Sunday we talked for about five hours. The most beautiful conversation about everything, just life, us, the kids, how he felt… just everything. This conversation gave me a lot of peace because in this conversation any questions and doubts were expressed.

“I also spoke to Ricky early in the morning. I never thought or felt… because his last words in that conversation were, ‘I’m going home’ and ‘I love you,’”

She concluded that she wants Riky to know that he is loved and missed, “He knew how much we loved him. I think that was very clear. I would say it over and over again. I think that is right, we just really miss him.”

Sunday World reported that Bianca has been fighting for the ownership of Riky Rick’s estate as the couple were never married legally but had plans to wed.

“Our common intention together with the deceased was to validate our marriage in accordance with civil law. As already stated above, although our families with the deceased are not traditional, they did meet during the course of our relationship to have marriage discussions and our families did approve of our relationship as that of husband and wife.”

“Furthermore, as already stated above, the deceased and I did intend to eventually marry, however, the deceased unfortunately passed before the solemnization of our marriage became a reality, albeit we lived our joint lives as a married couple. I have therefore been advised that I do qualify within the category of a partner ‘in a permanent life partnership in which the partners have undertaken reciprocal duties of support’,” read the papers.

Attempts to remove Paul Mashatile as acting ANC secretary general fails again

Attempts to remove Paul Mashatile as acting ANC secretary general fails again

Attempts to use the ANC constitution to dislodge treasurer-general Paul Mashatile from the crucial secretary general’s office have again come to nil at the ANC’s National Executive Committee meeting this weekend.

Mashatile’s opponents have been told calls for his ouster are simply too late.

The treasurer general has been acting as the organization’s secretary general since last year following the suspension of Ace Magashule and his deputy Jessie Duarte taking ill.

Duarte has since passed on.

Mashatile’s detractors have accused him of using that office to mount his fight to become the ANC’s deputy president at its December national conference.

The ANC’s constitution gives acting powers to the national chairperson. It says this official can carry out additional tasks or functions – not so for the treasurer general role.

The publication understands this formed the basis of yet another attempt to weaken Mashatile’s hold over an office that operates as the organization’s engine.

Some of party president Cyril Ramaphosa’s supporters have previously told the publication that coordinator Gwen Ramokgopa was making little headway due to a lack of signing powers.

They believe being appointed as an acting deputy secretary would give her access to crucial meetings and the ability to make key decisions.

But those in Mashatile’s corner say it’s too late to raise such an argument.

The NEC also signed off on the membership audit report – opening up nomination season in earnest.

A media briefing on how branches will propose names to be voted for in December is likely to take place during the week.

Court rules on Isibaya actress Zinhle Mabena who attempted to kill her husband with a scissors

Former Isibaya actress Zinhle Mabena can breathe a sigh of relief – at least for now – after a two-year-long case of assault against her was withdrawn for the second time at the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court this week.

However, her ex-husband, Robert Ngwenya, says he is seeking justice for himself through private prosecution, after the matter was put back on to the court roll for the second time. It was initially withdrawn last October.

The actress was accused of assaulting her ex-husband at their home in Midrand during alleged domestic disputes in 2019 and 2020.

Mabena’s lawyer, Joshua Lazarus Shapiro, confirmed that the star had appeared at the regional court on Tuesday, but would not comment further.

Mabena, who plays Julia on the new Mzansi Magic drama Isifiso, was supported by members of Act Now SA, a group that works to end violence against women and children, when she made her court appearance.

She was charged with assault after she allegedly attacked Ngwenya with a bottle of perfume, a broomstick, a pair of scissors, a photo frame and her fists in separate domestic violence incidents at their home.

He opened four cases at Olievenhoutbosch Police Station in Centurion in 2019 and 2020.

After falling sick during Mabena’s trial last year, Ngwenya asked the court to withdraw the charges to allow the star to carry on with her life, as he was also focusing on his recovery.

“The charges against Zinhle were provisionally withdrawn in consultations with the complainant,” National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana said at the time.

Ngwenya said he had written to the NPA to reinstate the charges a few weeks ago.

He said he was shocked to learn that the matter had been withdrawn once again, allegedly without his knowledge this time.

He said:
I didn’t even know that the matter was back in court on that day. I am hearing from journalists that the case has been withdrawn, but it is not something that I was not expecting because I could tell from how the investigation has been going. I am also aware that the case has been compromised.

Ngwenya said he had raised concerns with the police that key witnesses in the case, including himself, had been intimidated and threatened, but nothing was done to protect them.

“For me, it is not shocking news that the case has been withdrawn. All I know is that the case was back on the roll, and I had a discussion with the police about witnesses being intimated and asked for protection, but nothing was done.”

He said he was seeking justice for himself and his bodyguard, who died after being shot at a petrol station in what was an alleged hit on Ngwenya.

Zinhle was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the incident, but was released pending investigations.

It seems as though celebrities are deemed to be superior to our lives because everyone believes that when they do thing, they are correct, but when it is us, we are wrong.

“From where I am sitting, private prosecution is the only solution, and I have already started with that process in relation to the attempted murder case,” he said.

Mahanjana had not yet commented by the time of going to print.
