Media personality Minnie Dlamini-Jones and her husband, Quinton Jones, are celebrating their fourth anniversary in marriage.

Without going into detail, she said marriage was not easy, mentioning that many times before, they had both wanted to quit but their promise kept them together.

On Thursday, she took to social media to celebrate the milestone.

She wrote: “Happy anniversary to us. I can’t believe it’s been four years already.

Wow, time flies. Marriage is not easy and there are many times we’ve both wanted to call it quits. But, it’s days like today that remind us of the promise we made to each other. Love you baba ka Netha.”

Her friends and colleagues went on to congratulate and applaud her for being honest.

Amanda Sileku said: “Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Jones. Wishing you many more anniversaries. Never give up on this beautiful union – the ups and downs are meant to make you stronger.”

Mercy Mnguni said fights in marriage would always be there.

“Happy anniversary guys. Fights, doubts and temptation will always be there.

But, remember that they are not there to break you but to make you stronger,” she said.

Thabisile Zulu said: “I am shocked. Are you thinking of quitting this beautiful union? Please don’t allow problems to separate you.”

Minnie Dlamini and her husband, Quinton Jones are super excited as they celebrate their 4th year wedding anniversary.

Taking to Instagram, the TV personality shared one of their cute wedding snap and expressed how she feels on this special day.

“Happy Anniversary to us ❤️ I can’t believe it’s 4years already wow time flies!!!! Marriage is not easy and there are many times we’ve both wanted to call it quits but it’s days like today that remind us of the promise we made to each other ❤️ Love you Baba kaNetha,” she captioned post.

Meanwhile, Minnie celebrated her husband’s birthday this week, and made it a special one by using the medium to unveil their baby’s face.

‘Happy Birthday Netha’s Baba,” she said.

While she may be scarce on social media these days, media personality Minnie Dlamini-Jones has been working hard behind the scenes to build her and her hubby Quinton Jones’ empire creating content and telling African stories.

The official trailer for Goodbye Gogo has been released and will be available on Showmax. The film has Quinton and Minnie as executive producers and the pair also co-wrote the original story,

Goodbye Gogo is about a rich matriarch who, lying on her deathbed, wishes to repair her broken family when they arrive to say their goodbyes.

Mrs Linah Dlamini (Gogo), played by veteran actress Thembi Mtshali-Jones, is a successful matriarch dying of cancer. She has two children — Khanyi and Themba — both in troubled marriages. Feeling responsible for the way their lives turned out, Gogo tries to right her wrongs. In a series of events that take place at Edenvale Hospital, secrets are revealed, marriages tested and serendipitous love connections are made.

Goodbye Gogo also stars Gagasi FM’s Hope Mbhele, The Throne star Keke Mphuti and Uzalo actor Sizwe Khumbuza .

The feature film is the directorial debut of Safta-nominated actor Neo Ntlatleng (Zone 14) and Alex Hlabangane, who also DoPs.

Minnie Dlamini reveals her huge contribution to a new Afrikaans movie titled PA. Taking to social media, the TV personality said she’s finally utilizing one of her many talents, which is story-writing.

Minnie is a storyteller, and with the effort of other storytellers, they’ve been able to successfully bring to reality a new movie.

“If someone had to ask me who I am, I am a storyteller. It’s what I love most about life and how my ancestors passed on our history and lessons that the next generation needs to learn. I am so blessed that I get to express this passion of mine in multiple mediums.
Here is one of my hidden (not anymore) talents. I created a beautiful story about love that transcends racial prejudice. I got to work with my genius brother @junkieflo who with a talented team of writers brought our story to life in the @kyknettv movie called PA,” she said.

“It’s always about breaking the mould and not allowing myself to be boxed into a category,” Mrs Jones added.

Minnie Dlamini recently took to her social media to pen down touching message to Shona Ferguson who days few days ago.

The Fergusons have been mourning the death of the star after he passed on due to COVID complication and not heart surgery.

Many of his fans and other celebrities have sent their condolences to the family.

One of which is Minnie Dlamini who expressed her sadness towards the news.

In her writeup, she stated that she remembered her first on set of the Wild and The Fergusons immediately embraced her as their own.

“I remember my first day on set of the Wild and The Fergusons immediately embraced me as their own. My TV Mom & Dad were just so infectious and the funniest duo who only called each other by pet names. Naturally, my pet name was born “Mouse” ? I can hear him now as I type this with the loudest bellowing laughter that would follow each time”

Minnie Dlamini have taken to her social media to sympathize with other people who have been affected by the looting one way or the other.

However, South Africa is in a messy situation as some citizens of the country drifted from protesting for the release of Jacob Zuma to looting supermarkets and destroying goods.

This issue has been on for days as celebrities and Mzansi are calling on to the governments to do something about it.

Well, Minnie who has been off Twitter for about a month now came back and decided to lend her voice to the looting of supermarkets.

The actress stated that people need to start standing together and helping each other during this trying times.

The entire province waking up with fear every morning and going to bed to the sounds of bombs and gun shots. Yes we need compassion & prayers but we also need to start standing together & helping each other”

The star went on to sympathize with those who may have affected and those who are ill and can’t get medications.

“The family’s who have run out of food, the stores have been destroyed & the ones that haven’t are running low on everything. The mothers with small children who can’t get formula and nappies. The people who are ill and can’t get medication (Still covid)…”

Media personality Minnie Dlamini and her family have recovered from Covid-19.

The Homeground presenter shared the good news on her social media on Saturday, 10 July. She said they tested for Covid and the results came back negative.

Minnie thanked people for their love and support and said it was tough.

“My family tested this morning for Covid and we are negative. Thank you for the outpour of love and support, it was war!!!’

Two weeks back, on 30 June Minnie shared that they had tested positive for the virus on her Instagram stories and asked people to stay safe and keep her family in their prayers.

“My family and I are currently out of commission. . . Covid is real and this wave is hectic!!! Stay safe and keep us in your prayers,” she wrote.

The actress born on 7 July said: “It’s my birthday in a week and at this rate I will be spending it sick in bed. Covid sucks,” she wrote.

Minnie wasn’t the only celeb whose family recently contracted Covid-19. Singer Leanne Dlamini’s family did too. She shared the news on 3 July and said she and three other family members, including music executive husband Sipho Dlamini and daughter Zani tested positive.

She asked that people kept them in their prayers because it was scary. She also said she would be staying away from social media but would be back soon.

This after her post on Instagram which suggests that her family is taking a break from their duties to deal with what they have encountered. She asked her followers to please pray for each one of them as they are on their hiatus.

Her cryptic post did not quiet reveal much about who might have contracted the virus but she did warn her fans that it is not to be taken lightly.

The TV personality made it known that the essence of having the work space is because she’s working on a project.

However, she’s yet to reveal anything about the project.

“We just moved into our new office space ?@beautifuldayproductions pre production has begun ? #NewProjectLoading,” she said.

In December 2020, Minnie revealed that she’s working on a movie production, which is assumed to be her first.

It is believed that she’s continuing her work on the project, which is the movie.
