Lasizwe Reveals How Much He Makes On YouTube

Reality TV Show star and YouTuber Lasizwe Dambuza opened up about how he makes money on YouTube.

Lasizwe was today’s guest on Sphectacula, and DJ Nave’s YouTube show The King’s Cast.

The TV star spoke about coming out, his relationships, and his YouTube paycheck.

Lasizwe said his late mom did not speak to him for about half a year after she found out that he is gay.

“She got a call from the school about the fight, and they explained the whole thing, back then I was Sizwe. They said Sizwe has a crush on this boy and he did a video about it…and then we just stopped speaking, for 6 months my mom didn’t speak to me, Leaving in the same house,” he said.

Opening up about his YouTube paycheck, Lasizwe said he has received over six figures. However, he refused to share the most recent amount.

“Over the years that I have been on YouTube ayi siyidlile imali (we ate money)…I have clocked over six figures. My first check on YouTube was R80 000,” he said.

Speaking about the success of his channel and his new YouTube show Drink Or Tell The Truth, he gave credit to his team.

“So I want to first give a big shoutout to my team. I have the most amazing team, from the content director Emanuel, The director of photography Kelvin, the editor Tumi and interns.”
He said he started Drink Or Tell The Truth because he wanted to give his supporters something different.

“I have been doing skits for four years, what else can I do?” He said he then came across James Corden’s show called Spill your guts and he was inspired.

“I was like, that’s a great concept but how do you take the “insipiredness” and create something new from it, and that’s how Drink Or Tell The Truth came about,” Lasizwe explained.

Lasizwe also revealed that he is ready to be after and settle down.
“I really wanna fall pregnant this year. I think This year or next year or three years to come I wanna be pregnant, and also now I want to settle down a bit. Not just with someone or whatever but with myself. I am in a space where I just need to realize that I am human because in this industry we become robots. Everyone just wants a piece of you, when you come home you are empty.”

Lasizwe: Why I prefer Kudzai over Tebogo for Khanyi

Lasizwe claims he prefers Zimbabwean millionaire, Kudzai Terrence Mushango over Tebogo Lerole for his sister, Khanyi Mbau. On the recent episode of his Drink or Tell the Truth with Boity Thulo, the actor was asked to pick who he prefers for his sister between the two men.

The two men are now Khanyi Mbau’s ex-lovers, but Lasizwe says he prefers Kudzai because of the money, as his sister was living in luxury with him.

However, in the case of Tebogo, who is also a businessman, the young man was struggling financially while dating his sister, hence he disapproves him.

Boity who was a guest on the show was shocked by the YouTuber’s explanation.

Lasizwe reveals on why he will not work with Cedric Fourie again

Lasizwe has definitely made his mind clear that he won’t be working with Cedric Fourie. The star made this known in the last episode of his show, Drink or Tell The Truth. Lasizwe stated that that there are some lines he wouldn’t cross in their friendship and he will want it to be like that.

“From the people you have worked with in the industry, who is that one person you never wish to work with again and why?” asked Norma.

“Cedric! I don’t want to work with Cedric again. Cedric and I were really good friends. We were like so good with each other. The reason I don’t want to work with him again, I think, is that I got it wrong when I started mixing in my people with him,” he said.

The star said he would not mix business and pleasure.

“That’s why in life, never mix your friends. Because they are friends with you for a reason. That one fulfils a certain purpose and that one fulfils a certain purpose. Never mix that.”

Lasizwe finally reveals what led to a fallout with actor Cedric Fourie

The latest episode of Drink or Tell the Truth with Lasizwe aired last night on his YouTube channel and as usual, tea was spilt. His guest was the businesswoman and ex-wife of Malusi Gigaba Norma Mngoma. Usually, Lasizwe is the one who gets his guests to open up but, Norma has the YouTuber answering some questions we’ve been yearning to ask.

“From the people, we have worked within the industry? Who is that one person you never wish to work with again and why?” Asked Norma Mngoma.

To our surprise, he revealed that he doesn’t want to work with Skeem Saam and Durban Gen actor, Cedric Fourie again. It is no secret that the two were not as close as they used to be but we didn’t know it was that deep.

“Cedric! I don’t want to work with Cedric again. Cedric and I were really really good friends, We were like so good with each other. The reason why I don’t want to work with him again I that I think, what I got it wrong is when I started mixing people with him. That’s why in life, never mix your friends. Because they are friends with you for a reason. That one fulfils a certain purpose and that one fulfils a certain purpose. Never mix that.” He explained.

Norma also asked him what happened between him and Cedric’s ex-girlfriend Zari and if it is true that she took Cedric away from him.

“Everything was going super well. Then, there’s a rumour and then I called you. Because I’m that friend when I see something I phone. And I even said to you, this was sent to me. I assessed that these people I don’t want them in my life. I don’t want people that will change stuff and Instigate stuff and now frame me as if I instigated the whole video.” He said.

An emotional Laziwe, tearful at a point, said that he was mad Cedric for not defending him since they had known each other the longest.

“I was also upset at Cedric for not defending me. Out of you too… he’s known me the longest. I was like, I’ve known you for so long. I know your secrets, you know my secrets. I know your family, you know my family. And then someone comes into your life, all of a sudden now you in Zimbabwe, you are flying out and doing all of these things – Amazing. Good for you. But don’t forget my friendship. But anyway, I’m done addressing this.“

At the end of the episode, he said that this is the last time he will be speaking about Cedric Fourie.

Lasizwe ready to spill the tea on Khanyi’s boyfriend Kudzai Terrence Mushonga

Khanyi Mbau has been hailed as the GOAT after yesterday’s stunt, which left her boyfriend Kudzai Terrence Mushonga flustered and lonely in Dubai. Her Zimbabwean millionaire beau took to Instagram to document his wild goose chase, leaving everyone in a panic thinking something horrible had happened to Khanyi Mbau.

Not making things any easy was her little brother Lasizwe Dambuza who stated how worried he was, “I hope I am not overreacting, I’m scared,” his now deleted tweet read.

But all is well as both Khanyi Mbau and Lasizwe confirmed on their social media pages that Khanyi is safe. But the shocker is that what was meant to be a trip to the salon, turned into a one-way trip back home and Khanyi did not even inform Kudzai.

Khanyi booked a first-class ticket back to Mzansi and according to Kudzai she lied and said she only had R3000 with her. FYI Kudzai, first class tickets do not cost R3000! The fact that she “lied” lead many to believe that Khanyi wanted to flee from Kudzai and possibly break up with him. This left the businessman hurt and confuse. He has reason to believe that Khanyi wanted to break up with him.

The WhatsApp texts he shared of a conversation between he and his lover show that Khanyi urged Kudzai to reflect and take some time off to think deeply.

He first went on IG and shared a picture of the both of them re-united, looking all lovey dovey, but the drama was only getting started.

After realising that Khanyi had left him alone in Dubai, Kudzai then went on Instagram Live to clarify a few things saying he and Khanyi did not have an argument. “I can confirm that my sweetheart texted me just now, she said she’s back in Joburg. My sweetheart just confirmed she’s back in Joburg,” said a worried Mushonga.

But what captured us the most was Lasizwe’s comment where he warned Kudzai to not make this about him. Lasizwe hinted that something did happen between the couple and that Kudzai was hiding it.

“Not everything is about you…Do remember what happened that morning!! You don’t want me to go there!! Stop This!” exclaimed Lasizwe.

Kudzai was left heartbroken after his sweetheart, left him in Dubai without telling him, “After all we’ve been through together, I don’t know if this is the part where we’re breaking up or there was something urgent that I didn’t have to know. So all this time I’m going crazy, my own girlfriend is on a flight back to Joburg. We didn’t fight, we didn’t argue the same day that she left. I thought I’m just honestly sending a message. I should have known …things that I did just to make my woman happy, I don’t know if this is love, but if it’s love, it hurts,” said Mushonga.

On their IG pages, Lasizwe confirmed that Khanyi is back home safe and together they went to visit their late father’s gravesite. “Can we enjoy this moment together. Welcome back home safely,” he wrote.

Khanyi on the other hand posted an image of her visiting her dad’s gravesite and informed her followers that she is safe.
Kudzai said their trip to Dubai was for Khanyi to be able to make her own money as SA is crowded. He was going to teach her the in’s and out’s of money making but it ended in tears!

Kudzai has taken to his Instagram stories to reveal that he had been waiting for Khanyi since last night, right until the early hours of the morning. He had prepared dinner and waiting on Khanyi to give him the go-ahead to come and pick her up from the salon. He eventually went out to go and look for her only to find that the salon had long been closed.

Imagine paying your girlfriend’s daughter’s fees before you drop her at the salon at 6 PM and she tells you, babe, I will text you 30 min before I’m done so you can come pick me up! You then rush for your zoom meeting at home and be a good man and cook dinner for you and her, you even cut yourself in the process! At 9:4pm you even tell her, babe I cut myself while making dinner.

“At 11:47 pm you even tell her baby I’m waiting on you! At 1:00 am you tell her babe I had not had dinner cos I’m waiting for you to tell me to come to pick you up from the salon but let me eat because I need to drink my pain killers, at 2:25 am you drive out to go look for her at the salon, you get there, the salon closed at 10 pm. 2:28 am you, message baby, I see you are coming on and offline regardless of many calls.

According to his posts, he eventually managed to get a hold of her and said that she’ll see him soon. It appears he is heartbroken and the whole thing doesn’t sit well with him. He says that he’s been worried all night.

Lasizwe on his relationship with Somizi

Social media personality Lasizwe Dambuza opened up about his feud with media personality Somizi Mhlongo and admitted to a complicated love interest in the latest episode of Drink or Tell the Truth on Friday 27 August.

Lasizwe was joined by rapper Nadia Nakai on the show.

Nadia Nakai asked the social media star about his feud with Somizi Mhlongo and the social media personality admitted that they do not get along, explaining that he thinks two people who are doing the same things cannot be in the same circle.

“He is undoubtedly talented but as a person, the vibes with him and I? No,” said Lasizwe.

“I believe you can’t be in the same circle as someone who is doing the same thing as you, but individually, give me zero for him,” he continued.

Lasizwe and Somizi were previously good friends who had a fall out early last year. Lasizwe said that their fallout was based on other people’s opinions of their relationship and that was hurtful. In addition to the drama, Lasizwe was not invited to Somizi and Mohale Motaung’s wedding.

Lasizwe penned a heartfelt message to Somizi following their fallout.

“@somizi Having a fallout with you was one of the most emotional situations I had to go through. What broke my heart was that our fallout was based over people’s opinions about our relationship,” wrote Lasizwe on Instagram.

“To me you’ve always been someone I’ve always looked up to, someone I called an industry Father ❤??,” he continued.

However, from his recent comments it seems he does not feel the way he did a year ago.The social media star also revealed that he has “been with” actor Teboho Caddy Tsotetsi. However, their relationship is complicated because Caddy supposedly wants him to be a “trophy”.

“You have been with the soccer player, a politician, and someone in the entertainment industry, name one person?,” Nadia Nakai asked Lasizwe.

“I’ve been with, well not been but, he’s on the Legacy, his name is Caddy Tsotetsi he plays Sanele,” said Lasizwe.

Nadia Nakai then asked Lasizwe why they aren’t dating and he explained that things are complicated.

“Things are very tricky with him and I. We tryna meet halfway but it doesn’t work. I think he wants me to be his trophy…I don’t want to sit there and wait for my partner to do s*** for me,” said Lasizwe.

This follows the stars heartbreak in February this year when he bought his mystery man a flight back to Cape Town and after dropping him off at the airport he ran into him later at at a groove in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.

Lasizwe Spills The Tea On His Hookup With Popular Legacy Actor

One thing you should expect on the Drink Or Tell The Truth with Lasizwe is juice and he did not disappoint again this week together with his guest award-winning rapper Nadia Nakai.

This week Lasizwe got a little bit personal and spoke about his relationship with one of Mzansi’s popular actors, he also spoke about his beef with media personality Somizi Mhlongo.

Nadia’s question to Lasizwe read: “You have been with the soccer player, a politician, and someone in the entertainment industry, name one person?”

Lasizwe revealed that he had a thing with Mnet’s Legacy star Teboho Tsotetsi also known as Caddy.

“I have been with, well not been but…He is on The Legacy, his name is Caddy Tsotetsi he plays Sanele,” Lasizwe said.
Nadia also asked him why are they not in a relationship.

She also spoke about how the award-winning rapper Riky Rick let her down.
She said he canceled on her at the last minute when he was supposed to join her for her shoot.

“…Boss Zonke let me down, we were shooting the naked room, he was supposed to come to shoot and he literally canceled when he was supposed to arrive. I had a client on set, I had my face done and everything. I had to pack up and say sorry guys he is not coming.”

She said Riky Rick did not even call her and apologize.

“I think he probably called Phindi but not me…” she added.

Phindi is Nadia Nakai’s manager and best friend. Speaking about Phindi on Pop Radio earlier this year Nadia said: “She’s been my best friend since 2012. She didn’t start out managing me. She was my supporter, my cheerleader and when I started working with her I realized how important it is to have a manager that cares about your heart. It’s like, this industry is very personal.

“A lot of things affect us and you have to have somebody that can build you up as well. It’s a nice thing of having a best friend and a manager. Also, the fact that she’s hardworking, also the fact that she’s not working for me. She’s also working for herself. She has her own goals that she wants to achieve in music. So they kind of link very well.”

Lasizwe is over the moon as he finally breaks his records.

Taking to Twitter, the star announced his recent video with Zodwa Wabantu hits 2million views in 2weeks.

Lasizwe started a new show, ‘Drink or Tell The Truth’ and he has had few celebrities come on the show.

However, Zodwa was his third guest on the show and has the highest views since he started it.

The media personality is very excited as he thanks Zodwa for making it possible for him.

Lasizwe: Steve Harvey reminds me of my dad

Lasizwe has taken to his Twitter to share that he went to see his “parents”. This post caught the attention of so many as the star has no biological parents again. Recently, the comedian mentioned he misses his mom and Dad.

Well, it looks like Lasizwe has found himself another parent as he said he got a call from them.

Lasizwe shared a picture of them together as it can be seen that Steve Harvey and his wife, Marjorie Harvey are his alleged parents.

He said Steve reminds him or his late father as he will give the same look when he starts going a bit gay.
