First, it was the pregnancy announcement that came a few weeks after the American figure’s; then the similar snaps and public exposure of the belly. Now fans think Natasha Thahane could he imitating Rihanna to an extent that she could be carrying twins just like Rihanna.

The American bubbly personality recently revealed that she was carrying twins and had had her first 3D scan of the babies he had with rapper Asap Rocky.

A few weeks ago, the publication sensationally reported that Natasha Thahane, a South African Tv personality was pregnant with footballer Thembinkosi Lorch’s baby.

She revealed this on Instagram.

A week later, the actress posted a series of snaps and Instagram stories with her huge belly exposed – Rihanna style.

It didn’t take much time for fans to draw similarities between the two personalities’ pregnancy reveals and public appearances.

Some believe the South African star could be getting influence from Rihanna and is always imitating her.

Recent sentiments shared by social media users are that Thahane could be pregnant with twins just like Rihanna.

Their claims are justified by the enormous size of the two’s baby bumps.

‘Since Rihanna’s baby bump has twins; Natasha’s could he too’ is the basic logic being punned out there.

This may however not be true.

A rumour mill churn a few days ago that Rihanna was pregnant with twins.

This was after Fenty Beauty founder Gigi Hadid playfully commented “ three angels” on one of Rihanna’s Instagram posts.

This, together with a recent interview Rihanna had with Bustle where she referred to her baby bump as “them”, made fans believe she had twins.

But all the rumours have so far been dismissed as untrue.

Natasha Thahana on the other hand has not revealed any information about his baby bump, the gender or when she would be expecting her baby(ies).

Actress Natasha Thahane is popular for her work on Skeem Saam, Saints and Sinners and now The Queen. The actress also happens to be the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. She lets us into their lives.

The Soweto-born artist used to live with her grandfather. At 16, she moved in with him in Cape Town so she could study at Middleton High School.

I call him “Khulu” and our relationship grew stronger when I moved in with him and his wife, my grandmother, Leah.

From them I’ve learnt about love and communication within a relationship.

Khulu is hilarious. His sense of humour is out of this world and has a contagious laugh. There may be an assumption that I feel some kind of pressure to act a certain way because of him but I don’t. I’m my own person.

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu passed away today (26 December).

The Nobel Laureate passed away aged 90 in Cape Town from prostate cancer.

Tutu was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his role as a unifying leader in the campaign to end apartheid.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has expressed his sadness, saying he was a leader of principle and pragmatism who gave meaning to biblical insight.

Good looking actress Natasha Thahane under fire after government blesses her with R1 million

Popular actress Natasha Thahane has set tongues wagging. This after she recently revealed in an interview with controversial podcaster Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho, that she had received R1 million in funds from the government after reaching out to politician Baleka Mbete.

The former Skeem Saam actress, who is the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, told MacG that when she went overseas a few years ago, she needed financial assistance to study at the New York Film Academy of popular Netflix series Blood & Water revealed that she made a plea to Baleka, who then allegedly reached out to the Department Sport, Arts, and Culture to arrange the funds.

“I asked Baleka if I can please have funds because I had been accepted. I said:

‘Please arrange something for me’. She managed to speak to the arts department, that was able to help me,” she revealed.

The interview went straight to the trends map on Twitter, leaving social media users fuming.

Wamie commented: “Not Natasha saying she was given money to study by Baleka. Thina they make us apply every single time, and we never get it. But they give hand-outs to famous people? Wow!”

Paballo Chauke said: “Natasha merely exposed and verbalized how the world actually works – nepotism, cronyism and privilege is how the elite remain in that class for generations; by looking out for each other. Meritocracy is a myth and lie that’s used to silence marginalized people.”

After breaking the Internet, Natasha responded to the claims that she had received funding through nepotism.

She shared that she had applied for funding, but no one responded until the school assisted her to get in contact with the department.

“I even emailed the Barack Obama Foundation, hoping to get assistance,” she said.

Orlando Pirates player Thembinkosi Lorch posted an Instagram story of the birthday girl, Natasha Thahane unwrapping a gift from him today (26 September).

Just a few days ago Thembinkosi Lorch revealed he was single and ready to mingle via an Instagram live and now he posted an Instagram story with his girlfriend actress Natasha Thahane.

Lorch and Natasha first went Instagram official when Tweeps spotted that they were on a “baecation” together in Zanzibar in June. The couple then began to show their love for each other publicly. However, in August the pair removed each others pictures from Instagram sparking speculation of a break-up. The couple later posted Instagram stories of their day together as a clap back to the rumours proving they were still in play.

Earlier this month, Lorch and Natasha shared cryptic Instagram stories hinting there was trouble in paradise. The pair unfollowed each other on Instagram and Lorch recently revealed he was a single man looking for someone to marry.

Now, the couple have yet again dribbled Mzansi with their hints of an on and off the relationship.

The Blood & Water actress turned 26 on the 25th of September. The day before her birthday she posted a snap of red balloons and in the background was a frame of Lorch’s shirt and pictures. This was the first hint that the pair haven’t completely called it quits.

On the morning of her birthday, she posted a snap of red roses and R100 notes with the caption “to love and be loved”.

Today (26 September) Lorch posted an Instagram story of Natasha unwrapping a big gift he got her. In the video the actress struggles to open the gift. However, the couple are still not following each other on Instagram.

The actress celebrated her 26th birthday by offering to help five 25 year olds get their learners license.

Actress Natasha Thahane receives heart-melting gift on 26th birthday – Photo

Natasha Thahane is in her feelings after getting a heart-melting gesture from a second party on her 26th birthday.

The actress chose to be lowkey this year, though, we can’t forget how she shook the internet in 2020 with snaps and videos of her 25th birthday.

This year, Natasha simply announced her birthday with a photo of herself when she was young.

“What a blessing it is to know God, to breathe, to love & be loved. Grateful for another year,” she captioned snap.

She also got a bouquet with money from someone unknown, though, it’s assumed that her boyfriend, Thembinikosi Lorch gifted her.

I have always been scared of men – Actress Natasha Thahane opens up on why she never dated

Mzansi actress Natasha Thahane opened up about the reason she never dated in high school in an interview with musician Moonchild Sanelly on The Madness Method which aired on Saturday 21 August on BET Africa.

The Blood & Water actress explained that her mom had her quite young, so her grandmother and family tried to protect her from the world.

“My mom had me when she was 19 so she had to like finish school and my grandmother was always there to guide me, cause I am a girl child, I mean if you already have a girl child who has a kid at 19, now you’re already trying to protect this girl child as well because you don’t want them to repeat,” said Thahane.

“So, they literally tried to shield me and protect me and support me,” she continued.

The actress explained that this made her scared of men and that is why she avoided dating.

“I hardly shoot my shot hey…I flirt, but I don’t entertain the flirts, like I’ve always been scared of men, I never dated in high school, I was scared of boys and cause of my mom having me at a young age as well I was always scared because they always made it seem like ‘oh my gosh’ they’re going to mess up your life,” said Thahane.

Does this mean Orlando Pirates midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch had to shoot his shot at Natasha? Well, the couple are yet to reveal their full love story. All we’ve had so far were “baecations” and break-up rumours.

A card that the actress picked on the show, read “reveal how you did it” and Natasha told viewers how she was able to purchase her first home by working back-to-back trying to get that deposit.

“I just recently bought a home and it was like a lot of work and I worked back-to-back, I was shooting in Cape Town and Joburg, shooting on Sundays even, just to make sure that, okay cool, I’m getting the deposit for the house,” said Thahane.

“There’s no man that can come into my home right now and put their feet up and say that I bought you this house,” she continued.

Natasha Thahane plays the role of Wendy Dlamini on Netflix’s Blood & Water Season 2 which is set to be released on 24 September.

There seems to be trouble in paradise between the actress NatashaThahane and her soccer bae Thembinkosi Lorch. Fans couldn’t help but notice that both of them unfollowed each other on Instagram (IG). But that’s not it, it seems as though they also removed each other’s pictures on the Gram too.

Natasha Thahane is a South African actress who is well-known for her acting roles in the SABC 1 daily TV Show Skeem Saam, Mzansi Magic The Queen and Lockdown. The beauty has also played some roles on eKasi, Galz and Saints. She is also a graduate of New York Film Academy (NYFA). Her bae, Thembi Lorch, is a soccer plays who shoots for Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.

Is this another one of their stunts just to get social media talking or is it a legit break up? We wouldn’t be surprised if this is another publicity stunt because the “couple” dribbled us when their relationship first went public.

They flatly denied dating each other, not only that but Lorch pretended like he did not even know who Natasha Thahane is.

They first sparked dating rumours when they shared snaps of them individually but they were in the same location. They were both on a vacation in Zanzibar and that is when the dots started to connect.

Natasha posted an image of her wearing an orange bikini and shades. That’s when Twitter investigators zoomed in on her shades and saw Lorch’s reflection on them.

Lorch’s friend DJ Maphorisa went on Instagram Live and publicly asked Lorch about he and Natasha. That is when Lorch pretended to not even know who the Blood And Water star is. “Natasha, Ke mang?” he asked. “What do I have to do with Natasha?” he continued.

But they confirmed their relationship status when Lorch posted a picture of Natasha, and captioned it “beke le beke” which means “week in, week out.”

Just a few days ago, Lorch was celebrating his birthday and Natasha shared a sweet post about her bae. “Happy Birthday King @thembinkosi_lorch_3. May God continue to protect & guide you all the days of your life. Wishing you many more years of happiness, love, peace & full access to heaven’s resources. I admire and respect who you are. I love you Mr! Beke le beke.”

After her relationship with Lorch went public, Natasha revealed that men flocked her DMs, trying to shoot their shot. “Amadoda angaka in my mentions axakwe indaba zam (so many men in mentions all up in my business. I miss the days when men used to go to war,” she said. She also added that she was raised with respect but that does not mean she should tolerate it, “Sikhuliswe nge’hlonipho kodwa akusho ukuthi asikwazi ukuba hlaza,” which translates to ‘we were raised with respect but that does not mean we cannot be disrespectful.

She posted a cute video compilation of them on vacation and also pictures of them looking very cosy. Of course if you missed all of this, tough luck because the pictures all disappeared into thin air. They both deleted them.
