Four policemen on trial for the murder of Mthokozisi Ntumba are set to appear in court on Friday.
They each face a single count of murder and three counts of attempted murder.
Ntumba was shot and killed in March last year, allegedly by police, after he had just left the doctor’s room in Braamfontein.
The incident took place during student protests over fees and student debt.
Bonang Matheba is excited after winning the case against Podcast presenter, Rea Gopane.
In 2021, the media personality legally went against Rea after he spilled alleged false claims about her on his podcast.
Some weeks ago, Bonang who returned to South Africa revealed that the court is now open, and she hasn’t forgotten the issue between herself and Rea.
Returning to social media on Friday morning, Queen B joyfully said she won the case in court and Rea has been demanded to pay R300 000.
Fans celebrated with her, while many wondered how the young man will pay such huge sum.

Oscar Mbo was called out yesterday by a DJ with handle @DeejayArchieSA accusing him of ducking with his booking fee after he booked him in December through his manager Yolisa.
It was stated that Oscar was supposed to play at his gig on 28 December 2021 but he did not. @DeejayArchieSA earlier tweeted, “OK I booked Oscar Mbo last year December through his manager Yolisa, I paid them the full amount according to our agreement. Ok, Oscar didn’t pitch ka di 28 December. I am still waiting for a refund even now. He blocked my calls and his manager is not taking my calls. I need a refund”
Well, the DJ has revealed that the artiste has reportedly refunded the money as he took to Twitter to thank folks for their efforts in helping him. He wrote, “They just refunded me, Thank you all for the comments and making sure this trends, ka leboga”

Club host and socialite Inno Morolong recently took to her Instagram stories and exposed clubs she works for alleging that they have not paid her for the services she rendered.
She said despite all the hard work she brings and the full tables she attracts, some clubs still delay her payment.
She has resorted to naming and shaming the clubs that have been ignoring her phone calls.
Recently, Inno Morolong found herself on the wrong side of the law after she physically assaulted a girl who refused to follow her to a hotel after a night out.
Videos of a bloodied girl surfaced online with credible sources claiming the girl was beaten up by the influencer.
Rumours claimed the ‘dangerous’ influencer was in the habit of linking up girls with men from parties she hosts.
She once openly revealed that she was looking for beautiful girls who wanted free drinks and groove vibes to link up with her. The invite didn’t sit well with activists who accused her of running a human trafficking business in broad daylight.
In this incident, Inno Morolong was accused of forcing a girl who’s claimed to be her friend to follow her to a hotel with other girls. It is claimed that the victim refused to go with her for unknown reasons and a fight ensued leading to her being left bleeding on the floor.
The radio industry is mourning the death of legendary radio DJ Winnie Mahlangu.
The sad news were confirmed by the SABC in a statement.
Mahlangu died in hospital in Centurion after a short illness on Thursday, 27 January, at the age 88.
She was the first woman DJ at Ukhozi FM. She joined the station in 1962 when it was still known as Radio Bantu.
To honour her, the SABC launched a female DJ search, called Winnie Mahlangu Female Presenter Search, for the first time in 2020. This search also formed part of Women’s Month commemoration.
She was also recipient of The Order of Ikhamanga in Silver by the president.
The SABC said: “Mahlangu was well-known for her warm nature, meaningful influence to the station as well as her contribution to empowerment female counterparts in the industry.”
Ukhozi FM also worked with Uzalo, where in some of the scenes, actors would unfold her job as a first female DJ for the biggest radio station.

The Dj recently took to her Instagram stories to share how her daughter had asked her for another baby sister. Kairo, who is six years old, apparently just asked her to consider having another daughter, as she is ready.
At such a young age, Kairo has already proven herself to be a sweet responsible girl. Her baby sister Asante was born only four months ago, and Kairo is already nailing the big sister thing. It’s no wonder she feels like she is ready to do it again — she is so good at it.
The family often shares pictures and videos of the two sisters spending time together, and it is clear that they adore each other. Just recently, Kairo was teaching the younger one her shapes, colours and numbers, but Santy was not impressed. Kairo also just started Grade 1, so there is no one better equipped to set baby Santy on the path to a great education.
While the two half siblings clearly have a lovely relationship, it has not been without its challenges. Blended families can be complicated at times, and Zinhle and her baby daddies have certainly received a lot of backlash for the complexities of their family structure.
In an episode of her reality show DJ Zinhle: Unexpected, she shared that there were a lot of kinks to work out in figuring out the whole blended family setup. She shared that Kairo’s father, AKA, was open to having a more involved family unit, and he wanted to be a part of Asante’s life. Murdah Bongz, Asante’s dad, gets to be a part of Kairo’s life, so he thought it was only fair if he got the same opportunity with baby Santy.
But Murdah felt differently. According to Zinhle, he was yet to warm up to the idea of everyone being in each other’s lives. It’s unclear whether the idea of letting AKA into his daughter’s life is what makes him uncomfortable, but Zinhle said he still needed some time to warm up to the idea that AKA had pitched.

Keamogetswe “QV” Motlhale has made a sudden exit from Big Brother Mzansi season 3 after the premier of the show on Sunday.
This comes after QV gathered the housemates in the early hours of the morning to announce she was leaving the show.
In her speech, QV expressed her gratitude for having been able to be a part of the show and gave the housemates a group hug as they gave her props for speaking up about mental health awareness.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for being present and opening yourself up fully to this experience. I’m sure everyone has noticed that I’ve been a little bit closed off since that other session we had and I’ve come to realise that I’m clearly struggling from something.
“And as much as I would like to throw it behind and focus solely on knowing each and every one of you. It’s not only affecting me mentally, I’m feeling it physically. So I will be leaving the game,” she said.

Director of local entertainment channels at MultiChoice Shirley Adonisi confirmed the 23-year-old from Mahikeng left the show for personal reasons and is now receiving psychological counselling.
“QV has bid farewell to her fellow housemates and has also expressed her gratitude to the production team for the opportunity to be in the house. A psychologist is working with her to ensure a smooth transition back into the outside world and guide her through her journey going forward.
“We wish her all the best on her journey and she has our full support,” read the statement.
Keamogetswe introduced herself on the show as easy-going and a “sharpshooter and straight talker”, describing herself as a tomboy who is quick to check whoever gets on her wrong side.

We all love birthdays here in Mzansi, and when it is the birthday of our very own fave celebrities, even better. Being Supa Mega’s birthday today, social media has not had its rest with many fans, family and industry mates taking time to send the rapper their love and good tidings.
