She celebrated the union and prayed for it, as there’s been consistent news on celebrity divorce.

“Mama wethu osezulwini. Protect our union. Pour love into it so that our patience never runs out. Give us the ability to allow each other to be ourselves and to heal all the broken parts of our past. May our love always be loud with laughter. And may we always be provided for,” she wrote.

Controversial poet Ntsiki Mazwai is demanding an apology from musician and TV host Jub Jub, for dragging her name into his alleged rape saga with Amanda Du Pont and other women. In December 2021, Jub Jub’s family ruffled major feathers in a statement after they quoted Ntsiki Mazwai’s defamation saga with DJ Fresh. This comes after they referenced how DJ Fresh sued Ntsiki for re-sharing a story on Facebook in which a woman had accused DJ Fresh of abuse and rape.

The two were embroiled in a nasty legal battle that saw DJ Fresh filing a lawsuit of R200 000 against her. At the time, Ntsiki released a statement to slam Jub Jub’s family. In her scathing statement, she said their cases were not the same.

“I would like to correct something. I lost my case because I posted about an alleged victim and she did not come forward to verify the story. It is not the same as Amanda, Masechaba and the other ladies who are the originators of their posts and stories. I feel it disingenuous to use my case to intimidate these women from telling their story,” reads the statement.

Now, Ntsiki says she wants Jub Jub to apologize to her too, “Thank you Jubjub… Can I also have an apology for your family dragging my name when trying to intimidate these women that was unfair and unacceptable. We grew up together I know your family, you know mine. What you did was trash to me,” she tweeted.

Ntsiki’s demand comes after Jub Jub topped the Twitter trends list this morning after issuing a statement apologizing to the mother of his son Kelly Khumalo. He apologized for the distress and hurt he caused to Kelly following his controversial interview with podcaster Mac G.

A couple of days ago, Moja Love gave him an ultimatum to apologize to Kelly or face the wrath of not hosting the highly acclaimed TV show ever again. In a bid to swallow his pride, Jub Jub then issued a statement to make amends with Kelly.

He said in the statement “I would like to apologies for the distress, or hurt I may have caused her following not only the aftermath of my interview on podcast and chill with Mac G but also any other public opinion,” he said.
Mzansi is however divided over his apology. Others have called on the two to let bygones be bygones but others are questioning if Jub Jub’s apology is sincere.

“@Collen_KM tweeted “I am glad Jub Jub apologized to Kelly Khumalo and his apology is very genuine I love it! My friends Jub Jub and Kelly must bury the hatchet we don’t need more beefs within the celebrity fraternity our fans out there has their hands full right now.

Ntsiki Mazwai sets the record straight

Poet and singer Ntsiki Mazwai has set the record straight after claims that she wants to get paid for her activism.

This comes after podcaster MacG said Ntsiki demanded R70,000 after he extended an invitation to Ntsiki to weigh in on Ari Lennox’s Twitter rant calling Africans “peasants” on Podcast and Chill.

Ntsiki slammed the claims in a statement shared on her Twitter timeline on Monday.

Ntsiki shed light on the private conversation she had with the podcaster where she made mention of the R70,000, saying Mac G gave her the impression he wanted to help her pay her legal fees.

“I had thought I would ignore it, but owing to the false narrative being created that I get paid for activism I must protect my integrity.” she wrote.

“When the deal wasn’t coming together it was followed by a string of insults on WhatsApp; which ultimately resulted in them choosing to frame the narrative to cause harm to my image.”

Ntsiki said she was not keen to appear on the show.

“It is true I did not want to do the podcast because of its misogynistic tone. However, I was willing to ignore my feelings to get my legal bills party covered by my appearance on the show.”

Ntsiki said she will always be transparent in her dealings and wanted to make sure she ran her statement to oppose MacG.

“And for me, it was them trying to use my vulnerability and then laughing as saying ‘I’m not the one who can’t afford to have an opinion’. Basically laughing at my being financially bullied,“ she wrote.

Poet and singer Ntsiki Mazwai has seemingly responded to MacG’s claims that she demanded R70,000 to appear on his podcast.

In the latest episode of Podcast and Chill, MacG said he extended an invitation to Ntsiki to speak on Ari Lennox’s Twitter rant calling Africans “peasants”.

He said Ntsiki responded with a demand of R70k if they wanted her to make an appearance.

Ntsiki responded to the Twitter posts saying: “Guys pls don’t bother me about what gossip mongers say about me … I don’t really care.

“This thing is simple … If I don’t want to be accessible to you, I don’t want to … and I will creates hoops for you to jump through.”

She accused the podcast hosts of wanting to “sanitize” their “tarnished” brand by having her on the show.

“No-one will try to use my brand to sanitize their platforms…”

Podcast and Chill with MacG was back with another banger episode on Monday and as always, the crew trended. Well, the main reason they trended was that they reached a milestone of half a million subscribers on YouTube!

The team spoke about a range of the past week’s trending topics including Rea Gopane and Bonang saga, to their trip to Botswana, and many more.

MacG also touched on how Ntsiki Mazwai demanded R70 000 to be a guest on the show. The reason MacG extended an invitation was because he wanted Ntsiki to add her thoughts on the Ari Lennox debacle where she went on a rant after her interview with MacG.

This scandal caught the attention of American podcasters such as Joe Budden and Charlamagne Tha God, who both sided with MacG.

MacG wanted Ntsiki to be a “friend of the show” and speak about where MacG went wrong because she is a very vocal activist. At first, Ntsiki sided with Ari but her tone changed when Ari called African’s peasants. She called her a ‘random black American’ and continued to slam her.

Ntsiki maintained her stance though by calling MacG a ‘crap human being, “Ari Lennox calling us peasants does not take away from the fact that MacG violated her and abused his power….. MacG is still a crap human being for how he treats women.”

MacG was open to constructive criticism but Ntsiki made a demand he could not meet. She wanted R70K. When he told Sol Phenduka and The Ghost Lady, they were shocked because she had been on the show before this, so they were surprised as to why would she do this.

Taking to her social media, Ntsiki said MacG should have read between the lines, because if he did he would have found out that she was not interested in being on the show.

She said the team is using her name for relevance and it will not work. She basically called them gossipmongers.

“This thing is simple… If I don’t want to be accessible to you, I don’t want to… And I will creates hoops for you to jump thru. Maybe you should read between the lines,” she said in one of her tweets.

Other people who sided with MacG include Charlamagne who admitted to being a MacG when he started out.

“You know I love watching young media personalities attempt to figure it out and one thing I won’t do is judge MacG because I — at one point — was a MacG. I was one of those young boys like that so I would rather counsel the man instead of cancel him. This is a teachable moment for young media personalities.

“I didn’t hear the whole context of the conversation I just heard that part so I don’t know how they got to that question but let me be the first to tell you, it’s not what you say but how you say it. I feel like if it’s based of something an artist said in the song is fair game but the delivery has to be correct.”

Ntsiki Mazwai is head over heels with her political analysis and author boyfriend, Botsang Moiloa, who wrote and published the book A Soldier With Just Cause. Ever since news broke out about the controversial poet being in a new relationship, her Twitter rants have slightly dropped, and she seems like a calmer woman now.

Ntsiki attended a mysterious court case, and Botsang accompanied her for moral support in her most recent court appearance. She gushed over his presence on Twitter, saying he’s her soldier and the one for her. Calling Botsang her soldier was sweet as he calls himself a soldier with a just cause – it’s even his book’s title.

Ntsiki has been under much public scrutiny for being a tad too vocal. She’s stepped on some big toes and argued with many celebrities, Botsang; however, she says his girlfriend is just assertive. He frowned upon the media for constantly painting her in a negative light when she’s voicing out her opinions. He later described her as a sweet and kind woman whose warmth can be felt by those who choose to look at her in a different eye.

Ntsiki hasn’t spoken about why she’s attending court, but a rumour circulating that DJ Euphonik is her accuser. On March 1, DJ Fresh and Euphonik put a gag order on Ntsiki for calling them rapists on a Twitter list she compiled, her labelling on the two men came after a series of rape allegations were pinned on them by different women.

After the poet refused to follow the authority of the gag order from Euphonik and DJ Fresh, she was taken to court by DJ Fresh, and she lost. MacG later interviewed DJ Fresh on Podcast and Chill, and he revealed, Ntsiki spent R200 000 on the court case. The case would’ve ended sooner but, Ntsiki was just too stubborn.

Controversial poet Ntsiki Mazwai divorces her family

CONTROVERSIAL poet Ntsiki Mazwai has announced she’s no longer part of the Mazwai family.

On Twitter, Ntsiki said she removed herself from the family because of her mental health and she’s at peace with her decision.

The daughter of former journalist and anti-apartheid activist Thami Mazwai and sister of award winning singers, Thandiswa and Nomsa Mazwai, said: “Guys, for my mental health I’ve decided to remove myself from the Mazwais. Please respect my decision. It makes me happy and brings me peace.”

The conversation was raised when she introduced her boyfriend, political analyst Botsang Moiloa on Twitter and said she’d be changing her surname soon.

She captioned the picture: “Life is beautifully unpredictable. Change of surname loading.”

Tweeps asked her if she’d drop the Mazwai surname and then she broke the news.

Prior to her tweet, Ntsiki had been sharing with her followers that she’d been kicked out of her family WhatsApp group multiple times over the past months.

She promised to talk about her decision to cut off her family via a Twitter space that she’ll host on Monday night, 10 January.

“Guys, I know you want to do the space session for cutting off family.. What time suits you tomorrow??? Evening or morning?” she asked.

Her fans suggested she does it in the evening.

This is why Ntsiki Mazwai trended for all the wrong reasons

This is why Ntsiki Mazwai trended for all the wrong reasons

Over the past few years, Ntsiki Mazwai has positioned herself as unarguably Mzansi’s biggest, most prominent hater. If YouTube motormouth Slik Talk continues on this his current trajectory, he may well overtake Ntsiki in this regard, but as things stand she has earned this position based on her consistency.

That consistency over the years has been astounding as she’s always found a way to sniff out danger and head right in that direction to run her mouth and cause a stir on Twitter. Many a time, her antics have landed her in hot water and drawn the ire of social media.

Here are three occasions in which Ntsiki should’ve probably kept her trap shut this year:
Boity and Bujy altercation

A few months ago, while celebrities like Nadia Nakai, Denise Zimba and Mihlali rallied behind media personality Boity Thulo after shocking images of her altercation with radio personality Bujy Bikwa emerged, followed shortly by a disturbing audio recording, Ntsiki decided to take a different approach.

And so, in the face of social media condemning Bujy’s alleged actions, Ntsiki instead posted a video on Twitter where she expressed how she has an issue with gender-based violence being equated to what she viewed as an altercation between drunk people swearing at each other.
“I have a problem with two drunkards who are slurring at each other, calling each other fat f****, being in the same category as some woman who is genuinely being abused by her man,” she said.

Also in August, Ntsiki decided to take a jab at Bonang, who she’s made snide comments about on several occasions, when she claimed the media personality was not an appropriate example of black excellence after rumours emerged that she didn’t own House of BNG.

“Believing Bonang owned the wine was like believing she owned Revlon. She is just the marketing gimmick to sell these products. Not the owner.”

Ntsiki went on to express how she felt that because Bonang was the face of white owned brands that she didn’t own, like Woolworths, she was a bad example of black entrepreneurship.

She then went on to boast about how she herself was a true entrepreneur through her beadwork company.

I own the whole value chain for my product and make ALL the decisions… It is not this cut and paste your name onto other people’s products.

Poet Ntsiki Mazwai has lambasted TV presenter Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye’s family for “using her name” to protect their son.

This after Moja Love suspended the Uyajola 99 host following media personality Amanda Du-Pont’s allegation that Jub Jub raped her while they were in a two-year relationship a few years ago. That was followed by three similar allegations against the rapper.

Ntsiki Mazwai dragged into Jub Jub’s rape scandal

In a statement shared with TshisaLIVE, Jub Jub’s family said the claims made against their son “have damaged his reputation and infringed his rights to privacy and dignity” and maintained they are not true.

In the statement, they made reference to the highly controversial case that involved DJ Fresh and Ntsiki.

The poet cleared the air and said these are two completely different matters.

“I would like to correct something. I lost my case because I posted about an alleged victim and she did not come forward to verify the story. It is not the same as Amanda, Masechaba and the other ladies who are the originators of their posts and stories. I feel it disingenuous to use my case to intimidate these women from telling their story.”

Ntsiki said statement erroneously said the judge presiding over the case ordered her to pay R500,000, which she said was not true.

“My elders, I have been ordered by the court not to speak defamatory about my complainant, and as you correctly stated I lost. You also got all my costs wrong. I was ordered to pay their legal fees which came close to R200,000. I don’t know where you got the half a million from unless it was just to scare the other ladies.”

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Andile Ngcobo said confirmed he was asked to release the statement on Jub Jub’s behalf.

Ntsiki Mazwai calls out Unathi Nkayi over false GBV accusastions

Poet and singer Ntsiki Mazwai returned to Twitter after a short break to share her opinion on the sacking of Unathi Nkayi from Kaya 959 and the alleged incident involving Sizwe Dhlomo.

Unathi has reportedly secured a new gig as a TV presenter on Mzansi Magic’s show The Festive Get Together in The Life Artois.

While Twitter “cancel culture” has remained mum on the Unathi vs Sizwe controversy, Ntsiki voiced her opinion on the matter, saying what Unathi allegedly did was “an act of malice”.

Cancel culture is quick to call for a celeb to be cancelled when allegations of any kind surface, but with Unathi, Mzansi has seemingly remained mum.

Unathi’s silence on her dismissal may have a hand in people being unable to “cancel” her, because the former Idols SA judge has not spoken up or released a statement on allegations levelled against her by Sizwe.

In a tweet sparked by the new gig tweets, Ntsiki said “rewarding” Unathi with a job after she “acted out of malice” was a bad move.

“In the GBV climate we have in SA. A woman is alleged to have lied about someone and almost ended their career and reputation in an act of malice … And you give her a TV show for little girls to know that you can lie about men and be rewarded for your lie? For real?”

The poet said she couldn’t believe Sizwe was saved by recordings, adding she wished he would sue, so Unathi could be dealt with legally.

Read some of Ntsiki’s tweets on the situation below:

Some tweeps praised her for not being a hypocrite, while some replied to her tweet, saying some have done far worse and are still getting gigs.
