Bonang ready to expose this ‘monster’ as relationship ends in tears

South African media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba is on a streak of venting out her frustrations, and next on her radar is Executive Director of CSA Global, Davin Philips. If you may recall, Bonang Matheba went on a Twitter space to announce the end of her relationship with the agency, citing that she suspects of criminal activities. Just a few days later, it was reported by a local publication that Bonang might not fully own House Of BNG, as she was allegedly “muscled out” from being a shareholder.

The TV presenter took to Twitter today to tell her fans to get ready for when she is ready to tell them about Davin Phillips, describing him as a monster.

“Can’t wait to tell you guys about this monster,” she said and then proceeded to add his Twitter handle.

Of course, curiosity grew from her followers as they are curious, how did all of this happen?

Speaking to a local publication, Bonang said she is still fighting for her baby, “There was and still is a huge legal battle around BNG that is still ongoing. I can’t say too much because the matter is sub judice. But BNG is here, doing well. It is my brand; my heart and soul and we are launching something major. There will come a time when I will explain what exactly happened to me and people need to learn from it. It’s a lesson I learned and it’s a mistake that anyone can make and because we trust people, we end up in complicated situations,” she told the paper.

In a statement sent out to a local publication, CSA Global claimed Bonang was fully aware of the arrangements regarding House Of BNG. It reads as follows, “Not only has CSA invested in this venture but we have been significantly instrumental in developing and creating the brand, from the actual naming convention to the route to market, packaging, innovation (MCC, Prestige and coming up with the concept of BNG Nectar – the sparkling wine in a can), the distribution strategy (in which we secured listings in key retailers), creation of the brand CI and the securing of all event partnerships,” claimed the company.

“The truth is that Ms. Matheba earns a royalty on the retail price for each unit sold, while not being exposed to any liability should the business make a loss or is required to be capitalized.”

The statement continued to read, “…any IP, Trademark, copyright developed by CSA, shall remain in the possession of CSA, especially as we have not been paid to develop such assets, and we are the ones who carry all costs to develop such assets. However, Ms. Matheba is fully aware that her earning rights shall continue for so long as earnings on such intellectual property are being received,” they alleged.

Just because she does not post nor brag about her man, does not mean she is single. Bonang Matheba, in an interview with a local publication, said she is currently dating her American boyfriend and is happy. But she will not be sharing any of his pictures or his identity.

“He finally found me,” were the words tweeted by Bonang, hinting that she is dating again. All she ever does is tweet hints about her new boyfriend but does not dare say anything more about him.

A few months back she said she might post his knees very soon but we still waiting for that picture Bonang.

In her intriguing interview with a local publication, she spoke about him just a little bit but was wary not to say anything more.

“I have been dating my American guy for about a year and four months now,” revealed the TV presenter. “But I just feel, the last time I introduced someone to my fans and followers, things just went pear-shaped.

She said flaunting her love life has never benefited her at all and that she keeps making more money if people do not know her.

“Showing my relationships has never benefited me in any way. It has brought me worse than good, and I learned that the hard way. I feel like I make more money when people don’t know who I am dating. But I am happy in this relationship. You can see my happiness in my glow and I am not short of anything,” she continued.

She then said her relationship is official even though it might not be on Instagram, “Just because it’s not on Instagram, doesn’t mean it’s not happened. My fans don’t love it when I keep secrets, but I have been burned in the past and I am being careful.”

Bonang had a lot of people wondering why she left for New York and she said she has done everything here in Mzansi, and only wants to expand her horizon.

“I always wanted to challenge myself when I felt I had reached the roof at home. I wanted to see what was out there. In terms of business and live productions, it doesn’t get bigger than the Miss SA pageant, SAMAs, Metros, and the Sports Awards which I have all done and there isn’t anything left for me to do, and the next step was to either go international or remain in the same place without growth. The next step was for me to see the world and where I can go,” she says.

Her trip definitely proved fruitful because she found her one!

She is not getting a cent; Watch as Rea Gopane says he is not paying Bonang R300 000 lawsuit

Youtuber and podcaster Rea Gopane has stunningly declared that Bonang Matheba will not be getting a single cent from him. This was after the podcaster suffered a chastening loss when the High Court ordered him to pay R300 000 in damages following Bonang’s defamation lawsuit against him. The R300 000 does not include interest and court costs.

The media personality filed a defamation lawsuit against Rea last year after he failed to issue a suitable retraction and apology for defamatory statements he had made against her. On his podcast, “Everything SA Music TV”, the vlogger had stated that Bonang introduced her ex AKA to cocaine.

Ironically, Rea appears to be unrepentant despite the considerable loss and has arrogantly claimed that Bonang Matheba will not be getting a single cent from him. The podcaster, who runs the ‘Everything SA Music TV’ Podcast, even posted a video boasting that “she is not getting a cent from me.”

Rea Gopane claimed that he had anticipated such a scenario and has been working on a plan since last year to ensure that Bonang does not get anything. In the video which he posted on his own social media pages, Rea boasts

Bonang Matheba has once again been accused of allegedly doing drugs by YouTuber Slik Talk, who has gained his fame by bashing famous celebrities. For many, his constant undermining of famous South African celebs has reduced him to a troll who should not be given the time of day.

In his latest episode, Slik Talk, was bashing Durban born rapper Nasty C saying his career has flopped. He also said his move to America made him a clown because it only reduced him to a groupie and made no impact.

“Your presence hasn’t been felt since 2018, you’ve been flopping for 2/3 years now,” he said. He also mocked him for his newly released song Best I Ever Had, and said he only went to America to waste his money because nobody is even talking about the song. “Everything about that song was horrible.”

After bashing Nasty C, he took aim at musician Zanda Zakuza and media personality Bonang Matheba. Zanda only echoed the words of many tweeps who said Slik Talk should be sued by these celebs he bashes. He then dragged Bonang because she sued YouTuber Rea Gopane for making the same allegations as he did in the video.

He started off by saying he is not afraid of Bonang, in other words he does not mind being sued by her. He might have not said it but Slik Talk alleged that Bonang uses cocaine. “Bonang is a walking vacuum…she is Pablo Escobar’s favourite person,” he accused.

He then said some very defamatory things about Bonang, taking shots at her love life, and pending podcast with Charlamagne Tha God.

Even though she accepted the second, more in-depth apology he issued on Instagram, Bonang made it clear she wasn’t someone to be messed with.

“Don’t bother me, I won’t bother you!” said Bonang.

Many of her fans came out to accuse her of bullying the young man and she responded saying it was not a game and Rea needed to know that.
