During a sit-down interview in July, Sophie said she had nothing in her bank account, her cars were taken from her and her health was depreciating; she lost weight and people had begun writing her obituary.

According to the actress, she locked herself up alone in her house for one year without children and nothing just to seek God’s face.

“I remember sitting on my bedroom floor… I had nothing, my bank account was clean, I had no cars, I had nothing… God, you’ve brought me to point zero, God I’m here for it… I used to stand naked in front of the mirror, looking at my skeleton body, and say to God let’s go, and I started spilling affirmations… I am a skeleton, people had already written my obituaries, it was me against the world with my God, I cleave unto him…”

“I thought I need to reseek God… I was like I want to find this guy, this guy called Jesus, this guy called God… I stood in front of that mirror every day and I said God, I promise you if you restore flesh by flesh I will serve you…”

“We serve a mighty God, and anybody who doesn’t know who God is, I feel sorry for them,” she added.

“For quite a while we have been saying that this entity of ours Eskom has to be restructured,” he said.

“Now a lot of people misunderstand what we are seeking to do and they think that we are privatizing Eskom. We are not privatising Eskom, we are restructuring it.”

The ANC in Gauteng doesn’t plan to entertain coalitions in the province come 2024.

That’s the word from Gauteng ANC chair, Panyaza Lesufi.

“Our energy and our focus is to ensure that the ANC succeeds on its own and come 2024 we want to succeed on our own without any coalition.”

Mona recently opened up about co-parenting and how challenging the journey was. She said she chose to focus on the positive side. She shared tips for others on the same path.

“1. Be the peacemaker, not the aggressor (This doesn’t guarantee that your co-parent will do the same, do it anyway) 2. Remember that your child has an independent relationship with both of you, don’t make them choose between the two of you (A relationship can fail but a parent is forever) 3. Choose what’s best for the child (If your child loves you both, do your best to both be in their lives) 4. Be graceful in the face of adversity (Clutch a pearl Sis, get a lawyer if you must fight but don’t be the one being all ghetto in the streets!)“
