Simphiwe Ngema melts hearts with video of her son’s first swimming lesson. The actress is getting baby Tiyani to experience life bit by bit and it looks so fun. Taking to social media, she shared the video, but a full clip was shared on Tiyani’s official Instagram page.

“Bhuka’s first swimming lesson last week. Go to his page @tiyani_chinyani to see how it went,” Simz said.

The loads of cuteness served by the baby is so heart-melting.

Judging from the photos, one can tell it was such a beautiful moment to savour. It turns out the whole decoration theme was the idea of Simz, who thanked the event organizers for making it a reality.

Captioning her post the actress wrote: “This was a beautiful blessed day. The best baby dedication ever! Thank you @nono_events and @perehouse for bringing my Vision to life. To our family and friends, thank you for making this a special day for our king.”

But things haven’t been all rosy for Simz and Tino at all in their pre-natal and post partum journey.

Simz recently reflected on her difficult pregnancy saying, she almost lost her life.

The stunning actress took to her Instagram story to open up on the ordeals she went through before childbirth. Pregnancy is a beautiful journey for women, but some complications during the period put a lot of fear in women and take the excitement out of it.

Simz Ngema is one of those unfortunate women to go through those bad periods but she is grateful she is still alive and well.

“It’s still so unbelievable that I carried a whole human being. I had the most difficult pregnancy ever! At some point I didn’t think we were gonna make it. I remember my dad saying, “They better get that baby out, before he kills my baby,” but God had us,” she shared.

In another post she also described the emotions her parents went through and how she and her mother cried their eyes out.

We cried so much. My mum was still crying in this pic. Mercy said No, I’m not gonna let you go.”

Simz Ngema has reflected on giving birth to her first child last year, revealing that she had a “difficult” pregnancy that almost cost her and baby Tiyani their lives.

The actress and her bae Tino Chinyani welcomed a baby boy in June last year, keeping it under wraps for a few months.

Since she announced the birth, Simz has been candid about her journey through and post pregnancy.

She took to Instagram Stories this week to reflect on the difficulties she faced, saying she was grateful to be alive and raising a healthy child.

“It’s still so unbelievable that I carried a whole human being. I had the most difficult pregnancy ever! At some point I didn’t think we were going to make it,” she wrote.

She recounted how her father was worried about her and said, “They better get that baby out before he kills my baby.”

“But God had us. Grateful,” she added.

In a post earlier this year, Simz opened up about the lessons she has learnt as a mom so far, saying that she is taking in every moment.

“I’m learning so much and I’m enjoying every moment. Even the difficult moments because my love for him makes it all worth it …”

She had previously spoken about having a C-section and being kind to herself while recovering.

“I haven’t been binding my tummy because I had a C-section and I’ve gained 20kg [I enjoy eating] but it’s time for me to start my journey of getting back into shape.

“I’m giving myself a year. Ang’funi pressure, please. Baking a whole human being is a big deal and I’ve learnt to be kind to myself. You can miss me with the pressures of ‘snap back’ ngi right, shame,” she wrote.

Taking to her Instagram account the star wrote: “Life has taught me to always be in the moment, enjoy where I am, if it’s not a good place, learn from it but be in the moment regardless.
