We are not goals. Like everyone, we take small strides each day to try and reach those together. There has been joy, pain, love, gratitude, disappointment, love, gains, losses, love. Katlehong, Maldives, love, kisses, voetseks, love, strength, fear, love, good hair days and that thing on my head … And then love once again … Then we try grow that, grow us,” he wrote.
The couple have been married for two years and have two daughters Khai and Kenya together.

“As we celebrate a decade of love and being together, God chose us and trusted us with another beautiful blessing that is half of me and half of my love. We are so excited and thankful for this miracle,” Yolanda wrote when announcing they were expecting their second baby last year.

Yesterday we reported that rapper Kwesta was allegedly embroiled in a dispute between Ayanda Jiya and her record label. Her album Queen got taken off from major streaming platforms and has supposedly suffered a financial knock. Kwesta, too had reportedly lost a few coins however the rapper says none of that is true.

Sunday World reported that Ayanda Jiya’s producer Boitumelo “Zeph” Mhlongo, her producer, claims to have ownership of her EP titled Queen. There have been misunderstandings which resulted in Ayanda unfortunately having her hard work taken off from streaming platforms, more specifically Platoon.

In the EP, Ayanda worked with Kwesta in a song titled Love Me. He featured in the song by adding his verse, but that is as far as Kwesta’s involvement in the story goes.

Speaking to ZAlebs Kwesta starts off by saying he has nothing to do with Ayanda’s legal battles. Even when her EP was taken down, he suffered no financial loss at all. The God Guluva album creator said he had no financial gain in the first place and that he featured in the album for free.

“I like Ayanda Jiya as a musician and always followed her so when they asked me to do a feature I did that, I even did that for free. It had no financial gains for me and it had no financial loss for me. It was something I was doing for a fellow artist.

KWESTA RESPONDS TO BROKE CLAIMS

“For me to read an article which says ‘Kwesta’s Financial Blows Get Worse’ and so forth, this does not affect me financially. I’m sad that Ayanda Jiya is going through what she is going through. I know what it’s like to put together a project and to have it taken down is a sad thing. I feel for that, but that does not affect me financially in any way as I did not have any financial interests in that EP,” he said.

Regarding his rumoured financial woes, Kwesta was reluctant to talk about such saying it is his business and that he never said he was rich in the first place. The rapper prides himself with keeping his private affairs private and not having his financial status questioned. “All these things are just baseless,” he reiterates.

Speaking about his music, Kwesta says he is currently working on his next single and it features fellow rapper K.O and Amapiano star Focalistic. Fans can also expect a music video from that fire collaboration as well.

The year seems to be a bit busy for Kwesta as he says he will be dropping three more music videos before the end of the year. Fans can also anticipate a deluxe edition of his fire album God Guluva.

Kwesta is also on a mission to go independent but he says it is not easy, in fact it is the hardest thing he has ever had to do. “It’s one thing to go independent, but it’s another thing to go independent by yourself and having to put together a team and put together new people. I work with people based on what type of people they are.”

Kwesta’s Wife Spills His Dirty Laundry, Feels betrayed By The Rapper

The wife of South African rapper Kwesta, Yolanda, has taken to her social media account to express how betrayed she feels for carrying her children for 18 months in the womb, only for them to take after their dad’s entire looks.

“My people, my heart, my everything. Also 18 months of pregnancy for these two to take after their Dad’s entire face?!! Betrayal!”, Yolanda captioned a photo of her husband and her kids.

Many of he fans also took her stance on the matter affirming that her children look more of their father than her.

Meanwhile, in other new, Kwesta along with Wale’s record company Sheer Music and Bridge IP representing producer Neo Makwa have recently taken Telkom and two other companies to court over unpaid royalties for the hit song ‘Spirit’ which was used in Telkom’s prepaid advert.

According to the Sunday World, the two companies, Wunderman Marketing and Wunderman Thompson, as well as Telkom, reportedly owe R859 500 which was for using the song in the advert on radio, TV and Telkom’s YouTube channel for 20 months, and R702 000 in its Behind the Scenes short film which went viral on the internet. In total, royalties owed amount to over R1.5-million.

The paper further reported that, Wunderman Marketing and Wunderman Thompson were the brains behind the production of the “Prepaid Z’khipha More” advert for Telkom in May 2018 and used the song in a short film titled Behind the Scenes. This advert ran from May 2018 to February 2020 without the authorisation of the Sheer Music, Bridge IP, Kwesta, Wale or Makwa.

As a result, Telkom, Wunderman Marketing and Wunderman Thompson infringed on the copyright of the song.

Sunday World further reports that the companies approached the telecoms company and its partners, asking for over R1.5 million be paid to them, with 83% going to Sheer and 16.6% to Bridge IP, all of this excluding value-added tax, but all efforts proved futile.

Last month, the two companies asked the Johannesburg High Court to grant them judgements against the three companies to get them to pay.

When Sunday World approached Telkom spokesperson Moeketsi Mocumi, he said the telecoms company was not in a position to comment because the matter is now before court.

“The matter between Sheer Music and Bridge IP against Wunderman is currently the subject of pending litigation. Telkom is aware of the claim as it has been cited as a defendant in the matter.” he explained to the publication.

Rapper and songwriter Senzo Vilakazi, who is popularly known by his stage name Kwesta has two daughters with his wife Yolanda Mvelase. Their first daughter Khai Asemahle Bulelwa Vilakazi is 6 years old, and their last born Kenya Elihle Vilakazi, is less than a year old.

Yolanda recently took to her Instagram page and posted adorable pictures of her husband Kwesta with their two daughters. She went on to mourn the fact that both the girls takes after their father.

“My people, my heart, my everything. Also 18 months of pregnancy for these two to take after their Dad’s entire face?!! Betrayal!”, Yolanda captioned the picture.

It seems like fans also agree to the fact that the two daughters do indeed look more than their father than they do their mother. Media personality, Minnie Dlamini also shared that she was familiar with this kind of betrayal of children looking more like their fathers.

“I know it well!”, Minnie commented

Since Minnie is yet to share a clear picture of her baby, we now already know that the baby looks like the Quinton Jones, who is the father. It seems like she has already accepted that her child resembles the father more than her.

Singer Moozlie thought that it made sense for Yolanda’s children to look like Kwesta, because both of their names start with the letter K. She decided to make it clear in the comments of Yolanda’s post.

“Ok, but does your name start with K tho? These girls have got the vision, leave them!”, Moozlie wrote.

“KUSH’ enye i-sound, ziyawa kumnandi Kukhuphuk’ idust, kanti ngubani?” These are the opening lines of Kwesta’s popular hit Vur Vai, defining what he was doing to his BMW M4.

In a video, he can be seen making the 3.0L turbocharged, straight-six engine rated at 317 kW sing.

As he revs the M4, a man can be heard saying “Asiyizwa… eyakho eyase model C, thina sifuna eyase kasi.”

Loosely translated, it means “we can’t hear this modern BMW M4, compared to the old one”, referring to the old E30 Gusheshe 3-series.

Kwesta wows fan with a video revealing his ‘real’ voice. The rapper’s voice is a very unique one in the South African music industry, as it’s thick and anyone can easily identify his voice even when sleeping.

In the video, the father of two was seen discussing with some other men, as it seem they were shooting a video; then a guy walked to him and asked him to reveal his real voice. It’s quite surprising that Kwesta’s voice was perceived differently, as it sounded more soft.

Speaking about his relationship with Kwesta, he revealed that they aren’t talking but no bad energy.

“You need to understand that in business, when you have a certain partnership and you’ve got a certain relationship it might work for the business period. We had an agreement, we saw out that agreement. That agreement does not bind us to be family members or friends or anything else.”

In 2020, when Nota got dragged for being outspoken on Twitter, Kwesta was called out to tame his manager, however, the rapper officially announced that Nota isn’t his manager any more.
