“I was single for six years before. Now you can’t get me any more. It’s going well. I’m very happy. We found our rhythm,” she said.

“I was adamant in knowing what I wanted, the guy I wanted. I was also so busy with my career, I was busy with BNG litigation, and I moved to New York City. So even as a human being, I think I wasn’t in a place that could accept … I wasn’t happy so there was no way I was going to be happy in a relationship.

“Came home from New York [and I] felt stronger, better, more beautiful, I [had] won my litigation, I found my rhythm, I was happier and then God said, ‘take this’.”

Bonang Matheba might have recently celebrated the major win of her regaining control of her popular and Woolies bestselling MMC sparkling wine alcoholic beverage House of BNG. As reported:

… After a two-year legal battle with her former management company, it seems that Matheba has come out victorious. This is as she took to social media to share the winter campaign for House of BNG.

Now it seems that Queen B* has time on her hands to focus on the entire spectrum of the socio-political landscape in South Africa. This is instead of her keen eye on the goings-on of the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, as she has been doing for years now.

As such, it seems that Matheba had something to say when it was confirmed that ex-convict, turned reformed blesser and now-politician Kenny Kunene is the Acting Mayor of the City of Johannesburg.

Bonang Matheba excited her fans and followers when she recently shared the official trailer for the second episode of her revamped YouTube-based reality show B*Dazzled 2.0.

Not long after the release of the trailer, the star has already earned yet another meme-able moment as she referenced the iconic song by South Africa’s first openly gay boy band 3SUM.

While there is still no clear date as to when the public can expect the episode to drop. The Young, Rich and African reality star has taken to social media to share another win she has recently had.

Bonang takes jabs at CSA over House of BNG win

During the trailer of B*Dazzled 2.0, Matheba references the drama which surrounded the end of her working relationship with the international management company CSA.

A recap on the drama was reported at the time:

The timeline became a mess when it was revealed that Bonang Matheba was allegedly kicked to the curb as House Of BNG owner. The Sunday Times reported that Bonang Matheba might no longer be a shareholder of the MCC, claiming that her former management company Celebrity Services Africa (CSA) Global, went behind her back to remove her as a shareholder.

…Now, hitting back at these claims, allegedly made by Bonang, CSA Global released a statement to Channel24 setting the record straight. Apparently, Bonang joined CSA in 2017 and House Of BNG was launched in 2019.#

The company claims to have played a significant role in the success of BNG. Their statement reads as follows:

“It appears that this is yet another attempt by Ms. Matheba to distort and manipulate facts. To be clear, Ms. Matheba joined CSA in 2017, and the brand was launched in 2019.

Not only has CSA invested in this venture but we have been significantly instrumental in developing and creating the brand, from the actual naming convention to the route to market, packaging, innovation (MCC, Prestige, and coming up with the concept of BNG Nectar – the sparkling wine in a can), the distribution strategy (in which we secured listings in key retailers), creation of the brand CI and the securing of all event partnerships.”

However, after a two-year legal battle with her former management company, it seems that Matheba has come out victorious. This is as she took to social media to share the winter campaign for House of BNG.

Moreover, she made it clear in a very Bonang way that her battle with CSA over her MCC sparkling wine brand is officially over.

Tweeps Believe This Is Bonang’s New Man

At the time of her upcoming appearance on Young, Rich, and African, Matheba also provided an update on episode two of her YouTube-based reality show B*Dazzled 2.0. However, it was the video that showed Bonang shooting content for the show which got the attention of her followers.

Tweeps think this is Bonang’s, new man

Bonang was captured by a fan at Clicks shooting content for the second episode of B*Dazzled 2.0. The video was of interest for a couple of reasons. First, it was the touching moment of the worker taking the video and her shaky voice of disbelief that they got to see Bonang in real life.

However, for tweeps, it seems that the man accompanying Matheba was of more interest. This is because it is assumed that the mystery man in question happens to be Matheba’s, new man.

As such, there was discourse as to why Bonang does not receive the same vitriol that a number of South African women receive when they are dating men from North Africa. A narrative that had the B*Force explaining that the difference is that Matheba is dating said men allegedly not for money but because it is her choice.

While Matheba has neither confirmed nor denied the suggestions that the man in the video is actually her new man, she did return to Twitter to make it clear that she is aware of the ongoing speculation on her dating life. This is as she suggestively returned to Twitter to make it clear that the jacket she was wearing on the video was designed by Rich Mnisi.

Last year, Bonang Matheba had a tumultuous year. In what was considered one of her most “quite eras” considering that she did not dominate headlines and hosting gigs as she used to in the past. A fact which could have to do with the matter of her legal battles in order to assert the ownership of her sparkling wine brand, House of BNG.

In 2022, Matheba would only occasionally grab headlines. Whether it was when she hosted Global Citizen as her first big gig of 2022, or becoming the ambassador of Nivea following the matter of her without makeup trending, or most recently, her collaboration with Steve Madden.

Matheba in 2022 did not do what she is most beloved for by her fanbase, and that is television presenting and hosting. Nor did she return to radio as since she left Metro FM in a huff a years back, calls for her to return to radio have been abundant.

But now it seems that her absence from the public eye might have to do with the fact that Matheba is in love and is looking to preserve her relationship and the privacy thereof as long as possible.

As such, while there is mystery surrounding this man. At least there has been a citing of Matheba recently as fans of the media personality were calling for her return on social media as she seems to have taken a break even from posting on Instagram.

Bonang dragged into DJ Zinhle & Pearl Thusi fight

South African media personality Bonang Matheba finds herself catching strays following DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi‘s last night video. The pair is currently trending on Twitter and Bonang Matheba is dragged into their mess for absolutely no reason.

Social media is abuzz following DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi’s video last night at Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena’s birthday celebrations. Although both Pearl Thusi and DJ ZInhle have come forward to clear the air, while DJ Zinhle has rubbished the claims that she was mean to Pearl Thusi.

Bonang Matheba finds herself getting drag into the social media squabble between DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi. As many tweeps believe that DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi’s friendship did not have any foundation apart from having a common enemy which was Bonang Matheba.

“Pearl Thusi deserves way better, she has a good heart. Yes we know she forced that fake friendship from the beginning and their common enemy was Bonang. Dj Zinhle is very bossy and controlling that’s why she befriends and dates people that are younger than her” wrote Lindz Nkwali.

Some tweeps do recall at the height of DJ Zinhle, AKA and Bonang Matheba saga, Pearl Thusi was very vocal and she went on to fight some of DJ Zinhle’s battles. Which led to the birth of their friendship, to a certain extent.

Pearl Thusi’s shady response to DJ Zinhle is proof enough that there is bad blood between the two. Pearl Thusi retweeted DJ Zinhle and basically shaded her from what she previously wrote, which has also gotten tweeps talking.
