They also objected him visiting due to claims of allegedly domestic abuse and “other immoralities”

Responding to this, Somizi revealed that his phone was in for repairs and he was unable to access Instagram, which is why he had not posted anything about the appearance.

He was told by the venue that the appearance would be cancelled because he had failed to market the event.

Uncle Waffles slams reports her team is exploiting her

Uncle Waffles has had to set the record straight on her safety in the entertainment industry after tweeps voiced their concerns.

This comes after tweeps filled the TL with tweets expressing concern over her and her career.

Tweeps on Wednesday claimed that Major League DJz and her Kreative Kornerr management team were taking advantage of the young DJ when videos of them grabbing her around the waist went viral.

In a series of Twitter posts, the DJ said people’s says about her relationship with the artists around her and her team were all out of context and twisted.

“I’d just like to say, my team is the biggest blessing in my life when it comes to my career. They go above and beyond for me, the narrative that’s being shared is so disheartening. They have never made me feel uncomfortable or treated me inappropriately.” she wrote.

Uncle Waffles’ stardom has sparked a number of conversations on social media, and she says she had decided to stop handling her social media because of the backlash on her feed.

“My moment is being stripped away because now people in my life who helped me and believed in me before a lot of people are becoming affected. Even making the decision a few days ago to no longer handle my social media because I was becoming overwhelmed and hyper focusing on the hate.”

Bootylicious Imbewu actress Phindile Gwala has reportedly been fired from the popular eTV show. According to a local publication the actress has been failing to deliver on her acting skills hence producers of the show decided to give her marching orders.

The actress portrays the fiery character of Fikile and she joined the show in 2020. Fikile left viewers on the edge of their collective seats during her debut speaking at Ngcolosi’s funeral. Viewers were intrigued by her and wondered who she was.

Her character won the hearts of many people with the drama, but sadly she couldn’t win the hearts of the new producers due to her poor performance.

“Phindile’s on-screen character was being struck off because of her craft competence. The producers have it that her talent is not what the showrunners expected out of her. However, it was revealed that the new producers were not very impressed, so they did not want to keep her,” said a source.

Phindile rose to superstardom when she played the character of Nonny on SABC 2 soapie Muvhango. We wonder what’s next for her now. Another character exiting the show is apparently Muzi Mthabela, who plays the role of Menzi. In real life, the actor is a Christian and he is apparently unimpressed with playing a womanizer.

Thapelo Ramatsui, spokesperson for Imbewu The Seed, confirmed that the two actors will leave the soapie, but said that it will be a brief break.

“They are on a hiatus from the show … They want to explore other avenues, such as other work opportunities. Durban is quite a stretch, so if they want to pursue other interests in Johannesburg, we give them leeway to pursue other projects and possibly come back. We did not fire anyone,” Ramatsui said.

Muzi won the hearts of many people on Isibaya when he played the much loved character of Duma. He exited the show after it was reported that it would not be renewed for a ninth season due to a decline in viewership.

He thanked everyone who supported him on the show. “To every casting director who ever had faith in me isandla sedlula ikhanda. My fellow thespians (ezakwa Ndlovu) Bheki Mkhwane and Bhuti Bongani Gumede. For your contribution in my craft Ngiyabonga. A very special thanks to a brother that’s special to me @sdumo.mtshali for ALWAYS pushing me To go further. Ngiyabonga. “Forget the Words and search for your truth” you would say.

I learnt a lot from @andilemx. Your passion for acting is visible. To the entire cast @gcinagrace engisebenze nabo Thank you for the love and tips. The crew of Isibaya… I love you guys. You ALWAYS encouraged me magenge. You made me. You loved me. Ngiyabonga. To the writers… CHEERS Thank you for loving Duma.” he said.

We wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

Khanyi Mbau gives tips on the art of skin lightening

In the latest episode of her ‘The Art Of Skin Lightening’ guide, Khanyi Mbau drops helpful hints for women who are on their own skin lightening journey. Khanyi firstly apologised for being a bit late with this one. This is because she is in and out of Dubai as well as South Africa. “Had to get my house in order,” she said.

Khanyi Mbau said Dubai is the perfect country for her skin and mentioned that she and her bae were within their bag wen they chose Dubai. “Listen the sun was discovered in the UAE!” she exclaimed.

Her main focus is on the hands and asked her followers if the burnt bananas on the hands subsided as yet. She recommends that people should use different skin products for different seasons and since we entering summer, winter products should be locked away.

“We are now entering the thick of summer, it’s time to switch up our products. Remember I did say in the previous episode that seasons are not the same. You need to stop with the brand or product you used over winter before you start breaking out.”

“Stay away from peels in the summer,” she advises when it comes to hands. “Peels expose undeveloped skin into the atmosphere, placing shock onto them then it causes inflammation.”

Khanyi then says if the skin starts to look pink or red, then the person is burning, “Once your skin starts turning pink or red, stop immediately! That’s a red flag you have gone too far and this applies to the body as well.”

You might have wondered what does she use to have her entire body looking the same colour. Well, here are her tips, “Over a personal study, and remember I am not a doctor but an avid skin lightening fanatic – my experience and observations has proven that your lifestyle is the first point. If you do, every time you touch your steering wheel in the day, you are placing your hands into an oven, and all the active lotion will start to cook.”

She recommends exfoliating your hands twice a week, the same way you might exfoliate the rest of your body.

“You can apply your face cream onto your fingers twice before bed, I repeat twice a week, only! Then when you wake up wash it off immediately before you get onto them with baby shampoo if you can, and moisturize it with aquas cream,” she warned.

Khanyi reckons that people have been lightening their skin very wrong and that leads to an imbalance of skin colour in the whole body. “Your supplier will not stop you from taking stronger formulas because it’s more money, the stronger it is the more expensive it become.”

Khanyi Mbau reckons that the correct way to lighten your skin is to not start with the face because it is the easiest part to get quicker results. “Always start with the body, the body needs about three months to fully take up a different shade but the glow is visible in the first two weeks.”

“So body and hands first. Body daily routine as per your suppliers directions and hands twice a week using the face cream,” she adds, but Khanyi says do not exfoliate your hands.

Khanyi says she has gone back to being darker, meaning her natural skin color because she is tired of trying different products. “I have done them all and most of them have become dangerous.” She says people should be careful because as dangerous as these products are, they can have a huge knock on ones insecurities.

DRAMA: Former Orlando Pirates star Tendai Ndoro kicked out of house by Wife; takes all his luxurious cars

Former Warriors striker Tendai Ndoro has lost ‘everything’ after he was kicked out of his home and taken to the cleaners by his South African wife, Thando Maseko. The former Chicken Inn and Orlando Pirates forward is reported to have registered all his properties in his wife’s name.

Following a massive fallout between the two, Maseko is said to have thrown Ndoro out of the couple’s home in the upscale Kyalami Estates in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is also reported to have taken full possession of all of the couple’s vehicles, as they were registered in her name.

The issue of Tendai Ndoro being taken to the cleaners by his South African wife was revealed to a Zim weekly publication B-Metro by one of Ndoro’s confidantes. The source who spoke to the publication on condition of anonymity said,

“It appears Ndoro’s property in South Africa is not registered in his name, so when things were not going well with his wife, he was kicked out of their Kyalami Estate home. The biggest mistake he made was not registering the house and cars in his name, and that will be his downfall.

“Ndoro’s family in Bulawayo are distraught about the situation because it can’t be easy to watch their son lose everything he worked hard for in South Africa and Saudi Arabia to his estranged wife.”

Ndoro has been making headlines of late after images leaked online in which the footballer appeared to have lost a lot of weight. The photos suggested that Ndoro may be struggling with his health. According to the online publication Soccer24, the footballer had been recuperating in the mining town of Shamva, in Zimbabwe’s Mashonaland Central province.

Following the circulation of the images and reports of Ndoro’s ill-health, some opined that the former Orlando Pirates striker is struggling.

This prompted South African businessman and former Mpumalanga Black Aces owner George Morfou to offer to help the footballer. George and his brother Mario were responsible for introducing the 36-year-old striker to the SA Premier Soccer League (PSL) when they signed him from Zimbabwean football club Chicken Inn in 2013.

However, last week, Ndoro denied reports that he was struggling financially. He also insisted that he was only in Zimbabwe briefly to visit his mother and that he would soon be returning to his family in South Africa.

“I don’t want to speak to the media. I’m in Bulawayo. I came back from South Africa to visit my mother. I’m actually in Bulawayo, and I will be going back to South Africa soon. My family is in South Africa, and why should I stay long in Zimbabwe,” claimed Ndoro.

On the other hand, the source insisted that Ndoro is struggling and had been given a cash bailout by his close football associates. The good Samaritans who came to Ndoro’s rescue include Aston Villa midfielder Marvellous Nakamba and Supersport midfielder Kudakwashe Mahachi.

“Just last week, when the Warriors were in camp, several players that include Marvelous Nakamba and Kudakwashe Mahachi pampered Ndoro with cash. The players openly expressed their concern about Ndoro’s plight hence the gesture of giving him cash.”

Popular Amapiano DJ charged with assault after beating up his ex-girlfriend

AMAPIANO DJ and producer ThackzinDJ has been charged for allegedly beating up his ex-girlfriend.

It seems the Yini Sdakwa hitmaker allegedly hit his then-girlfriend Esther Motimela in August in a big fight apparently witnessed by neighbours.

A source told Daily Sun Thackzin allegedly beat her up at her home in Sky City, Alberton in Ekurhuleni.

He was charged on 21 October and is due to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court in Ekurhuleni on 18 November.

The source said: “Thackzin spent most of his time at his girlfriend’s flat. They had an argument and he throttled and slapped her twice while the neighbours were watching. They went outside and the fight continued. Later that day, she went to open a case against him at the police station.”

The source said on top of the alleged assault case, Thackzin damaged his ex-girlfriend’s car two weeks ago.

“She is now angry because Thackzin borrowed her car for weeks and brought it back with issues. It had smoke coming from the bonnet. She had to pay for the damages herself. Thackzin felt entitled to her stuff and didn’t want to give them back to her when she asked.

“And after damaging the car, he started ignoring her and did not apologise and that was a deal-breaker for her. She tried reaching out to him, but he blocked her everywhere. It was worse when she received an Aarto infringement notice and a parking ticket that Thackzin did not tell her about. He said he doesn’t want to pay it. He is still not taking her calls or responding to texts.”

Esther confirmed she opened a case against Thackzin on 31 August.

“Yes, I opened a case against him and the cops brought him to my house to apologise a day after that. I forgave him and told the cops that, but I maintained to them I would still open a case and I wanted justice to prevail. I was called to the station a few weeks back and told he would be charged,” she said.

Thackzin’s manager Sandile Moloane declined to comment.

Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo said: “The suspect was arrested and charged with common assault. He is expected to appear at Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on 18 November.”
