Sophie Ndaba’s son is a young man called Lwandle Ndaba, better known as Ocean L. He was born on the 6th of November 1999 to Sophie Ndaba and her ex-husband Themba Ndaba.

Like his parents, Lwandle Ndaba has also carved his path in the entertainment industry and he is a musician, radio presenter, television personality, events organizer and MC.

Lwandle’s older and only sister is Rudo Ndaba who, unlike the rest of the family, has maintained a relatively low profile and not much is known about her.

Sophie Ndaba’s son disses his ex-stepfather

In August 2021, Sophie Ndaba’s son became the talk of the town after he released a song titled My Father’s a Devil where he dissed his stepfather- Max Lichaba in his lyrics and accused him of physically and emotionally assaulting his mother.

He released the song a couple of weeks after Sophie dropped Lichaba’s name and reverted back to Sophie Ndaba indicating that her marriage to Max Lichaba was on the rocks.

“I always thought that you were one to protect us, instead you always pulled up and stressed us. You the reason mama fell in depression. You used her for her fame and her money. You got it all and you left us with nothing,” part of his lyrics said.

He also went on to accuse his stepfather of being bipolar who beat up his mother after she found out that he had cheated on her with his (Lwandle) best friend who is young enough to be his daughter.

“Okay Max, let’s the people [know] who you really are in fact, bipolar n***a fake Rolly (Rolex) on the wrist. The King of the men are trash that’s a fact. You left your wife alone bruised up on the body. I won’t forget that day when you hit her cause you cheated, you cheated with my best friend well that’s a shocker. She old enough to be your daughter, R Kelly wanna be”

He also revealed in his lyrics that he had never seen a woman in so much pain because of her husband until Max came into their lives. Listen to the whole song below

Max Lichaba’s reaction to Sophie Ndaba’s son’s diss song

Following the viral hit My Father’s a Devil, Sophie Ndaba’s ex-husband Max Lichaba denied the allegations that he had ever physically assaulted Sophie or any other woman for that matter.

Speaking to Sunday World, the businessman also denied the allegations that his family had been threatening Lwandle after he released the diss track.

TV host Jub Jub, continues to press his estranged baby mama Kelly Khumalo’s buttons, as he has seemingly taken a jab at her again.

Kelly finally decided to let the cat out of the bag last week, after debuting her baby bump on social media. This was after rumours that she is expecting.

In an Instagram post, Jub Jub shared a post that raised eyebrows and his fans questioned its timing. The Uyajola 9/9 host wrote, “I wonder how many pregnancies will come out this December.”

His fans took to the comments section to drag him for allegedly throwing shade at Kelly Khumalo who is expecting. Others said he is still obsessed with Kelly even though they are no longer together.

locos_matlala “O ra Kelly wena…we see you.”

isa160882 “Unedrama wena… Shade much.”

u_ntokie “Ucalile ufuna ukukhipha amanye amapublic apology neh???.”

Was this a subtle shade directed at Kelly? It is no secret that Kelly and Jub Jub are not each other’s favorites.

For the longest time, they have been at loggerheads over their son Christian. Things escalated over the years and their battle has been made public through her reality show Life With Kelly.

In one of the episodes, Kelly called him out for being a deadbeat dad. Kelly was angered by Jub Jub’s post on Valentine’s Day, where he wished her a Happy Mother’s Day. The post read, “Despite our differences I would like to wish the woman who carried and brought my son into this world a Happy Mother’s Day.”

Instead of acknowledging it or even reacting Kelly said, “Christian’s father who has done me so dirty, God has blessed me to not even bump into him. Everyone is wishing every mother in the world and then boom! Christian’s father.”

“I know a man who wants a relationship with his child when I see one. I will never stand in the way of that. However, don’t disrespect me,” she continued.

She even spoke about her baby daddies and compared them, “As far as my firstborn is concerned, I am willing to go to court with Molemo. That’s proving to me that he wants to be a father, that’s proving to me that he wants to be with his son and I haven’t seen that,” she said.

Zodwa Wabantu breaks businessman’s heart

A music promoter and club promoter has been left heartbroken by Zodwa Wabantu. And he believes those around him will never trust him again.

THIS AFTER DAVID “DJ DAVE” NDUBUAKU BOOKED ZODWA TO PERFORM IN EKURHULENI, BUT SHE DIDN’T PITCH.

The 37-year-old from Benoni said he contacted Zodwa in October and asked if she was available to perform at Mega Lounge in the Springs CBD on 28 October.

So I managed to convince two other club owners, one in Benoni from Forex VVIP and another one in Boksburg from Broadway Pub, to book her on the same night,” he said.

DJ Dave said all these bookings amounted to R22 000.

“She received a total amount of R22 000 from me to perform at those three clubs, but she never showed up. She never answered my calls until today and never refunded me,” he said.

He said he’s really devastated by the situation as the club owners no longer trust him.

He said his kids are suffering as he has nothing to put on the table as people no longer book him to promote their clubs.

“I knew her from certain shows I had attended, which she had also attended. It hurts me because she did not come to my show. I once booked her though a male promoter in 2018.

“She showed up and after the show, I took her direct number. We created a great relationship, but she has ruined my trust now,” he said.

DJ Dave said he would like to get what’s due to him so he could also pay back the club owners.

Zodwa Wabantu breaks businessman’s heart

“I have the best fans ever. I’ve been in this industry for 14 years and counting. My fans believe in me because I always deliver when I promise a show, but Zodwa almost ruined my reputation with them,” he said.

“I have a great relationship with lots of musicians. I have never had an artist or performer treat me in such a manner.”

DJ Dave said all that he wanted was for Zodwa to pay back the money. Please, all I am asking is for Zodwa to just pay back the money immediately.

“The money isn’t mine and the club owners are angry with me and want their money back,” he said.

When the publication contacted for comment, Zodwa she was willing to perform for them this week as she’s available.

She apologized for not making it for her performance.

“I am available for Thursday and Friday this week. The following weekend I will be busy as there is a holiday and I am booked left and right,” she said.

“I am willing to make it up to the club owners and their promoter, DJ Dave. Please let them know I am sorry for the damage I caused. I will make it up to them,” said Zodwa.

DJ Dave said he doesn’t have a problem with Zodwa performing the missed shows on another day.

“As long as she isn’t lying about this and she sticks to her promises. I will be happy as this will make my business associates trust me again,” he said.

Diddy, who legally changed his name to Sean Love Combs in 2021, did not clarify his comments further. E! News has reached out to the 53-year-old’s rep for more details.

TMZ quoted a source close to Diddy as saying that the baby was born in October. The identity of her mother was not made public.

In September, Yung Miami told XXL Magazine, “We are dating. We single, but we’re dating. People don’t know what dating means. He’s single, I’m single, but we’re dating. That’s what I mean when I say we go together. When we’re together, we’re together. We’re having the time of our lives, but we’re still single.”

She continued, “He see other people outside of me and I see people outside of him. I’m young. I’m dating. I’m, you know, having fun. I’m doing me. He’s doing the same thing.

Yung Miami has spent time with Diddy’s family. In November, over the Thanksgiving holiday, she joined Diddy and his daughters to volunteer at a Charity Place charity event at the Miami Rescue Mission to help feed members of the city’s homeless community

Friends of the former love birds also reveal that things went south for the couple when Mbangeni quit her job as a drama lecturer.

We started working on stories together, and found that we had complementary skills, and enjoyed working together,” says Makwarela.

Jub Jub sued for R800 000

Keabetswe Mokoena, an event organizer is reportedly suing her business partner and Uyajola 99 host Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye after he allegedly cost her more than R800 000 for a botched arts festival in the Northwest province.

The event organizer Keabetswe Mokoena, who is accusing the Uyajola 99 host Jub Jub of costing her over R800 000 for the botched festival also served Maarohanye with protection after he reportedly swore at her, called her names, and threatened her livelihood.

City Press reveals that the businessperson has instructed her lawyers Monyai Tshilidzi Attorneys to serve him with a letter of demand accompanying the protection order. She claims the media personality insulted her in WhatsApp text messages by calling her a bitch and threatening her life.

“Stop sending our client messages on WhatsApp telling her that she does not know people and that you will show her who you are … Our client has informed us that she is scared because of messages of threats and intimidation that you keep sending her, threatening her life.”

“[Stop] hurling insults at our client by calling her a ‘bitch’ and insulting her [by referring to] her mother’s private parts in a WhatsApp group … [Stop] sending her voice notes on WhatsApp threatening to kill her and/or disrupt her business.”

Jub Jub sued for R800 000

It is believed Mokoena and Maarohanye are co-directors of a nonprofit organization called the Raah Foundation, which was meant to host a two-day Moses Kotane Arts Festival at Moruleng Stadium this past weekend.

Musicians Sibongile Mngoma, Stoan Seate, Focalistic, and Amaroto couldn’t perform after the festival got postponed at the eleventh hour because of various issues.

Maarohanye claimed in a statement that he pulled out of the festival because Mokoena wanted to use his name to obtain money from certain individuals and underpay artists.

“When I started the project, my vision was to uplift the arts and mend broken dreams in the community of Moses Kotane, where many young people have lost hope. I thought that collaborating with certain individuals would make that vision tangible, but it certainly didn’t,” he wrote.

“The person who I believed to be my business partner decided to use my name to extort money from key individuals and mislead people with false accusations, bringing my brand into disrepute.”

The event organiser has rubbished the TV host’s claims and approached his employer Moja Love to intervene.

Keabetswe Mokoena told City Press this week that the main problem during the preparations was caused by the rapper Jub Jub Maarohanye, who frustrated the organising team.

The Uyajola 99 host reportedly made the event about himself, changed artists, took money for items that he didn’t deliver, and missed interviews.

“The festival was supposed to boost the economy and tourism, and uplift new talent, particularly in Moses Kotane Local Municipality and Moruleng, but things started going pear-shaped when Jub Jub began bringing new people into the project. He started lying and taking money, but not using it for its intended use.”

“Two weeks ago, he announced that tickets for the festival were free. However, there are departments assisting us in the festival, so one can’t just take abrupt decisions like that by oneself. His behaviour was too much [to cope with], but little did I know that everything would just crumble,” she said.

“On the eve of the event, he made a video in which he swore at the mayor of Moses Kotane.”

Maarohanye reportedly also lied to community members and told telling them that she received R20 million in funding for the festival.

“How? Even government departments don’t give that much money to just one entity. It must be shared among everyone who does business with them. I didn’t get anything from the government,” Mokoena said.

“The community then stopped me from getting into the stadium,” she said. “When they closed the gates, preventing us from entering, I thought that, because I’d been protecting Jub Jub, he’d do the same for me.”

Mokoena said she had spent R800 000 on organizing the event. The money was supposed to be used to pay artists and promoters, as well as obtain marketing material and other items needed for the festival.

“However, only 60% of all these costs were paid. Some of the artists were paid just a portion of their fees.”

ad
“I’ve been receiving calls from many of them with whom I have a relationship, such as Stoan, who said it was alright and that he wouldn’t pursue the matter – but I don’t expect other artists, who could have taken bookings for that busy weekend, to understand. After all, this is business,” she said.
