Zenande Mfenyana was born in Kagiso, Gauteng Province, in South Africa.

She attended Queenstown Girls’ High School before enrolling for tertiary education at the University of Pretoria (BA in Drama).

Zenande became famous in 2011 when she played a role in SABC 1’s soap opera Generations.

Since then, she has joined top soapies like The Queen and MTV Shuga (Down South).

Popular Mzansi actress, Zenande Mfenyana was a popular face on television screens because of her roles in TV shows like Generations and The Queen, so where is she now?

Born on 11 October 1985, in Kagiso, Krugersdorp, Zenande later moved to Queenstown, Eastern Cape, where she grew up with her family according to Briefly. She attended Queenstown Girls’ High School before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama at the University of Pretoria, graduating in 2009.

After completing her degree, Zenande began her journey in the entertainment industry.

She worked behind the scenes, providing casting assistance and doing voice-overs for children’s projects.

She even toured schools in Gauteng, spreading the magic of theater.

Zenande Mfenyana shot to stardom in August 2011 when she joined the cast of Generations as Noluntu Memela, the daughter of Mawande Memela.

Her portrayal of this character won the hearts of fans across South Africa.

However, in 2014, she and fifteen other actors were let go from the show due to a strike organized by the cast.

Not one to be deterred, Zenande Mfenyana quickly bounced back by becoming a voice-over artist for the Generations telenovela.

Her career continued to ascend when she joined the cast of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen in 2017. There she played the role of Goodness Mabuza for seven seasons before leaving in 2021.

Throughout her career, Zenande has made appearances in various TV series, hosted reality shows, and even ventured into film, making notable appearances in movies like ‘Liefling‘ (2010), ‘Kampterrein‘ (2017), and ‘All About Love‘ (2017).

Zenande continues to inspire fans with her African hairstyles, particularly her stunning dreadlocks, which have become her signature look.

Former Generations star Zenande Mfenyana says she’s heartbroken to see food being seized after looting that took place in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng recently.

As SA starts to piece itself back together following the violence that ensued after the arrest of former president Jacob Zuma, SAPS is now arresting alleged victims and locating the goods that were stolen across KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng.

Proud mom and actress Zenande took to Twitter to weigh in on the action taken by police across the nation as salvageable items are being seized. The actress said her heart breaks to see food taken away from children who perhaps wouldn’t have access to food in the first place.

Zenande Mfenyana is definitely loving her new life as a mother but she jokingly reveals some of the struggles she’s been having with her baby.

The star announced the arrival of her baby in September 2020 and she is enjoying every bit of it. The star posted that her little one kept waking up really early in the morning and doesn’t let her sleep in the night.

Zenande jokingly said all new parents need to ask their babies what they are planning on doing in the early hours of the morning. Zenande said that she loved her daughter but she could not understand why her little one kept getting up at the crack of dawn.

Zenande Mfenyana causes a stir after blaming her weight gain on the Fergusons breakfast

Zenande Mfenyana is trying her best to get back in shape following the arrival of her baby in September 2020 but the Fergusons are not helping matters.

The actress took to her social media to voice out that she is not losing weight due to her work breakfast which is making it difficult for her to stay on track.

While most of us would be over the moon that we are getting such a hearty breakfast at work, Zenande is not happy at all.

Zenande, however, call onto the Fergusons to try to help her achieve her aim. Fans hilariously told her to not give into temptation because Connie Ferguson, the producer of the show actually has a six pack.

The Queen actress Zenande Mfenyana Gushes over her Hubby

Zenande Mfenyana took to Twitter recently to gush over her hubby. Commending him on his fitness.

The broody mom probably will not let the friendship affect her that much since her daughter is the centre of her universe. The new mom gushes over her daughter a lot on social media and she does that without posting any of her pictures.

The actress also revealed that she is really loving motherhood. “This is the heaven she imagined. I see it in how happy my daughter is. It’s lovely here at mommyville.

Zenande Mfenyana has not been herself after she got dumped by a very close friend of hers. The star took to her Twitter to share how she is feeling after experiencing a friendship breakup.

The actress said that she experienced unrequited love for the first time when some she thought was close to her proved that they were anything but things did not turn out as planned.
