#MohaleConfessions: The Fergusons dragged in Somhale’s drama

In a leaked interview with producers of Living The Dream With Somizi, Motaung indicated that Somizi and his then friend TT Mbha sabotaged his plans to work with the Fergusons.

According to a local publication, the producers of The Queen and Rockville were told not to take in Mohale. Rumour has it that Somizi also made it clear to other showrunners to distance themselves from Mohale.

According to Mohale, the sabotage could have been brought about by Mhlongo’s inferiority complex or lack of trust in him after he cheated on him.

He said he was hurt Mhlongo didn’t want him to work with certain people including the Fergusons because he was worried he would make new friends at the workplace.

“There was a point where I was speaking with the Fergusons. I was speaking with Connie and all of a sudden, uhm, she stops speaking to me. Two years later, which is last year, I found out that TT went to them and told them not to give me a job,” he said.

Motaung said he confronted Mhlongo about the matter and the actor immediately confronted Mbha about it. He said the confrontation between Mhlongo and Mbha ended their bromance which dated back to more than five years.

“I figured that Somizi probably told TT to go and tell the Fergusons not to give me a job because he is the only person I spoke to about the conversation I had with Connie and Shona.

So there has been quite a lot of opportunities that I have been missing simply because he would either make sure that I don’t get them or he would say to me that I shouldn’t go for them or mention that I’m working too hard and I’m not focusing on the relationship. So that kind of put me in a difficult spot because I’m young and I’m trying to build so much and so hard and he is not liking it,“ he said.
Apparently, Mhlongo’s inferiority complex could have been caused by Motaung’s previous romantic entanglement with another person.

He said when he started dating Mhlongo he was still involved in a dalliance with another lover.

“ I hadn’t ended my relationship with this person when I got in this relationship with him. When I got in this relationship I still had this lingering thing with this person… I didn’t break it off and he found out that I was still busy with this person,” he said.

South African media moguls The Fergusons are showing no signs of slowing down after Shona hinted at a new project that is set to be even bigger and greater than what fans have already seen.

The seasoned movie producer made the announcement on his Instagram account by sharing a short snippet with the caption “This new project is by far our greatest yet, God is good. #Keeping up the industry.

Although he didn’t specify what this new project is all about, a fan responded to the post and said “!!!I can’t wait for it why nkare I smell a reality show ??,” Shona in response laughed off the comment proving it is a series that is going to take the industry up the notch.

The Fergusons hint on a new project

The Fergusons continue to reign supreme in the South African entertainment industry as Shona Ferguson has hinted at an upcoming project and it is set to be even bigger and better.

The seasoned and TV producer made the announcement on his Instagram page by sharing a short clip with the caption “This new project is by far our greatest yet, God is good. #Keeping up the industry.

Although he did not reveal what the project is. A fan responded to the post and said “!!!I can’t wait for it why nkare I smell a reality show ??,” Shona laughed off the comment proving they are taking the industry to a new level this time around.

Connie and Shona are some of Mzansi’s most prominent producers in the SA television industry. The two are the brain behind some of the country’s most-watched shows such as The Queen, Igazi, and The River. Over the past couple of years, they have been working hard to create opportunities for other several media practitioners.

The Fergusons Welcome Mohale

Actor and Businessman Mohale Motaung recently made an appearance on Mzansi Magic’s popular telenovela Rockville. He plays the role of Zamani on the show.

Zamani is Sipho’s (played by comedian Trevor Gumbi) boyfriend.
Sharing the exciting news on his Instagram, Mohale said he enjoyed working with the likes of Gail Mabalane, Trevor Gumbi, and Wizeman Zitha just to mention a few. He also thanked the Fergusons for the opportunity.

Mohale has been receiving a lot of online bullying following rumors around his marriage with TV and radio personality Somizi Mhlongo. Tweeps have gone as far as faking Mohale and Somizi tweets.

He recently took to Twitter to address social media bullies. He posted a video of Bonang Matheba during her interview with Snazo and Samora on SABC1’s Real Goboza.

In the video, bonang says: “Sometimes when you are quiet people think that you are stupid, so every now and then I need to remind people that I am nice but I am not stupid. I don’t take nonsense and the timing has to be right, every now and then you need to remind people that I can go there with you.”

Mohale has also rubbished rumors that his marriage is on rocks during an interview on Power FM. He said he and his husband are fine: “Me and my husband Somizi Mhlongo Motaung, hmmm, We are fine, we are okay,” he said.

The real reason why The Fergusons are hiring new Actors revealed

The Fergusons; Shona and Connie Ferguson shocked their fans when they said they’re opening up the industry by searching for new talent.

This is a great opportunity for new/upcoming talents in the country as the productions company has been blasted for hiring the same actors.

His move is potentially a PR stunt by the company as they don’t have a squeaky clean image.

The Fergusons have been bashed for firing actors for lots of things; making them look bad on social media, asking for leave, and requesting an increase in salaries. This move shocked their followers and fans because Shona himself previously stated that he is against opening up the industry.

The Fergusons film Kings of Joburg Set to Premiere on Netflix

Undoubtedly one of SA’s most accomplished and talented TV producers, The Fergusons Connie and Shona Ferguson are on a winning streak. This follows an announcement that their much-anticipated action-packed series Kings of Joburg is set to premiere on Netflix this coming December.

The series will hit Netflix on December 4, 2020, and we are already here for it. In a trailer shared on Instagram by Shona, the series tells the dark tales of the city of gold. Crime, fighting, and arrests are the order of the day.

However, under the lavish suits and ties is a man hiding a deep dark secret. Zolisa Xaluva portrays the role of Mogomotsi “Mo” Masire, Simon’s young brother and an ex-convict who finds himself having to choose between the life that got him in jail, and honouring his responsibilities to the legacy of a crime family and older brother he loves.

It all started when Vatiswa Ndara wrote a damning letter to Nathi Mthethwa bemoaning how the Fergusons were exploiting talent and paying way below what actors are worth.

The Fergusons released their own statement.

Then Keke Mphuthi came out of the woodwork!

The Throne star accused Ferguson Films of mistreatment and wrote that the stress she endured nearly killed her baby. She also claimed they reneged on a promise for her to see through her contract during her pregnancy by firing her.

The most shocking exit of all was Rami Chuene’s dismissal. Rami confirmed her exit on Twitter but didn’t reveal why she was fired but from the looks of it, their relationship went sour after TGOM weighed in on the Vatiswa Ndara exploitation saga.

Are the Fergusons encouraging Gender-based violence?

The power couple have re-hired: Peter Mashigo and the public’s reaction is not looking good. Twitter is currently on fire and hugely successful film and media couple Connie and Shona Ferguson are being burnt.

It all started this week when it was announced that Ferguson Films had hired actor Peter Mashigo to star in The Queen despite Mashigo’s history of violence against women when he was filmed beating a woman in Pretoria.

Given South Africa’s horrifically long relationship with all manner of violence against women and young girls, the Fergusons’ decision has not been well-received by the public – and celebrities are also expressing their disappointment.

Local actress Rami Chuene was among the first to voice her disbelief at the Mashigo being cast by the Fergusons.

The much loved character of Keabetswe Khoza played by Dineo Langa, seemingly came to an abrupt end on last night’s episode of The Queen Mzansi, but the episode left may fans fuming fire!

Dineo’s character turned her into a household name with a legion of fans during her stint on the show, but last night viewers were left perplexed and agitated when a car in which she was “inside of”, burst into flames and many concluded that she is dead without even appearing in the episode.

Many deemed her “exit” weak and even lashed out at the controversial producers of the show The Fergusons, for their strategy of writing off their characters lately. Dineo Langa recently spilled the tea that she was axed on the show after the producers denied the claims on several occasions.

Fans felt like The Fergusons wanted to give her a poor exit due to their drama behind the scenes. The controversial producers are no stranger to weak departures just recently the character of Sthembiso was written off the story line and he died without even appearing in the episode.

Viewers slammed the producers and said they even resorted to burning a car, but they fail to pay their actors.

The Fergusons say goodbye to her favorite dog.

Connie Ferguson recently took to Instagram to share some sad news about their current family situation.

Their family dog has gave up the ghost . The dog named King Jesse had been with the Ferguson family for the past 14 years and was their youngest daughter’s ride or die.

The actress shared a couple of of Jesse pictures with the subsequent message: “A good 14 years with you! many thanks for being our greatest friend, Alicia’s ride or die for many of her life, and therefore the strongest, bravest dog ever! you’re indeed royalty! Rest in power King Jesse. many thanks for the memories!”
