South African actor, comedian, presenter, and producer Sivuyile Ngesi better known as Siv Ngesi expressed his frustration about the nation, South Africa.

The country is battling quite a lot; from load-shedding, to disease, to inflation, including security. The actor says South Africans are in trouble and there’s a need to pressure the government in other to save the country.

“South Africans, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to know that we are in trouble as a country. It is palpable, you can feel it in the air, we are in k*k,” he said in a video posted last week and reshared on Twitter on Tuesday.

But the iceberg was there and we have gone into the iceberg.

“As we are sinking as a country, people are still stealing off this beautiful ship. It is absolute treason. We hit the iceberg because of blatant incompetence and now the people who put us into the iceberg are still stealing, incompetent and do not care or have a plan.

“People’s businesses are failing and people are dying because of this incompetence.”

Siv Ngesi is one of two South Africans to land a role in the international film, “The Woman King”. He was also among the cast who graced the red carpet at the film’s world premiere at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival on September 8. This film came out around about the same time I lost my mother in August. The incredible link of it is that my mother has always been the strongest woman I have ever known, an incredible beast.

“She had no swords or weapons but she was definitely the strongest person. She never got to see the film. For me, this is the perfect epitome of her because my mother was always in spaces where she was dominating men and telling people what to do and people listened to her.

“I honour my mother in this film, the quintessential woman king and the queen of my life. I’m honoured to call myself the son of Zanele Jaqueline Ngesi. Every time I watch the film, it’s going to remind me of my mother.”
Ngesi shared: “I have done other international films but nothing was as big as this one. It’s the first time I actually did a film and (did) not care how well I did but more about watching the ladies and being in awe of Viola Davis and watching what she is doing.

“It’s a dream come true to be a part of one of its firsts in the world, having four dark-skinned women leads – two of African descent, one from the Caribbean and one of American descent.

Siv Ngesi slams tweeps trolling Mohale Motaung

On the wake of season 5 premier of Living the Dream with Somizi media personality Siv Ngesi has taken to Twitter to tell tweeps to back down from bullying Mohale Motaung.

He tweeted: “Hands off @mohale_motaung”.

In his mentions tweeps shared that this was the time for them to hear media personality Somizi Mhlongo’s side of the story

“Mohale told his story, & Somizi never answered then, we just wonder if the abuse started before or after they said ‘I do’, if it was before, why did he agree to marry him? What was Mohale pushing for to stand for all that which now he says wants half of what he never worked for,” said one tweep.

He clarified his tweet by quoting someone who thought he was referring to Somizi and said: “I didn’t mention Somizi! But you msu**s are bullies!

The first episode started with Somizi listening, for the first time, to the leaked audio of Mohale’s abuse allegations. He had a frank video call with Vusi Nova where they discussed how Somizi felt and some of Mohale’s claims about Somizi’s sex life.

“I was dealing with someone who had issues with sex. I tried to find so many ways of making it work. The sex life was bad. I still state I said to him: ‘Let’s find other ways. Either you go for sex therapy. He did not want to go because he was in denial that our sex wasn’t good.

“But he makes it look like I was forcing it on him and sh*t like that,” Somizi said as he chatted to Vusi Nova on the phone.

TshisaLIVE reached out to Mohale who decline to comment.

Also on the first episode of the season, SomG’s bestie Vusi admitted he was never fond of Mohale and his relationship with Somizi, but tolerated it, saying, “I did not like Mohale. I only tolerated him because Somizi liked him so much, but he never got that love back.

“You kind of lost yourself in the relationship. Somewhere halfway after meeting this boy you changed. Now you are back to yourself.”

Other people have also backed Siv, saying Mohale must not be bullied anew after Somizi’s version of events.

Lol! Will Big Zulu survive here if they get to enter the ring?

Actor and TV personality Sivuyile “Siv” Ngesi has social media talking after he dropped a video where he is training for boxing in high heels.

The comedian, who appears to be mocking Cassper Nyovest and Naakmusiq following their boxing match on Saturday, posted the video on Monday.

In the video Siv Ngesi, who is wearing a pair of high heels, energetically spars against a punching bag before doing a series of jaw-dropping jumps without losing his balance.

The media personality suggests he would have easily won the Celeb City match in his high heels. He captioned the video,

Even me in heels, they stand no chance! (Watch till the end ) ??? #CelebCity

The video quickly went viral on social media platforms as many marvelled at Siv Ngesi’s dexterity in boxing in high heels. Many expressed awe and said they would not want to face him in a boxing match.

However, others cautioned that while he has good footwork and balance, boxing against a real opponent is different from sparing with a punching bag. They took the opportunity to remind him that Cassper Nyovest had looked very impressive when training alone, only to be beaten by Naak MusiQ.

Check out the reactions:

@ChrisSentsomedi: not even apartheid police would make me sign a contract to fight Siv Ngesi, this dude will panel beat you until people can’t recognize you anymore.#CelebCity

@legohntoampe: Lol!! Y’all make boxing look easy go ask @casspernyovest

@callmeNdumi: I would refuse Siv as an opponent shame

@TheSauceCode031: Test this man at your own peril!

Inside Siv Ngesi and Taariq Jaftha’s war of words

Inside Siv Ngesi and Taariq Jaftha’s war of words

Taariq Jaftha, the brother of social media influencer Nadia Jaftha, has courted widespread controversy with his homophobic rants — and no-one is more infuriated than Siv Ngesi …

The media personality has put the outspoken Cape Town father-of-four on blast for his “hateful” words and has gained the support of fellow celebs too.

And it’s turned into a messy war of words and veiled threats of a potential physical altercation…

Siv Ngesi posted several clips and screenshots of IG Stories from Taariq Jaftha’s account where the latter is seen and heard condemning acts of homosexuality.

Siv captioned the post: “This little coward @taariqjaftha01 shared a few hateful Insta Stories where he blatantly condemns, demonises and throws hate speech at the queer community!

“In 2021, how can we be subjected to such filth and hatred! Pieces of shit like him hide behind their phones and laptops! We don’t fear f***ers like him and we won’t stand for such abuse of the queer community! Why does he care so much where someone sticks their penis? Please report his account!”

Siv also shared screenshots of a DM conversation between Taariq and himself where the offers to meet the latter to “debate” the matter.

Siv’s post attracted a ton of attention from his celebrity pals.

“He must send a location for Sunday. We go for a lovely chat,” said Top Billing presenter Janez Vermeiren.

“I am absolutely disgusted,” added model and businesswoman Shashi Naidoo.

And actress Nicole Bessick responded with a “trashcan” emoji.

Siv continued his attack on Taariq on his Instagram Stories.

In a video clip, he says: “I have no time for Taariq. He is one of those people who hide behind the beautiful religion of Islam. He’s a disgrace.

“He has a big mouth. He will say all the things he wants to say. He was in my DMs trying to antagonise me…if you want to we can meet in person. I’m not a violent person, I’m always keen to have a conversation with people.

“Taariq, you’re a piece of s***. I’ll meet you any place and any time…any time little boy.

Siv concluded his post by stating that he was not attacking the Islamic faith, nor Nadia Jaftha whom he is friends with.

Meanwhile, Taariq Jaftha responded to Siv Ngesi’s post on his own Instagram account, in which he attacked the latter’s character.

He posted: “Just look and listen to the way it conducts itself. So much love and sophistication in the way he speaks…Wake up people do not give people such as the like of itself power of authority he is the type that will bring back death sentences and anarchy just by the way he carries he’s vocabulary. Disgusting I hope this is opening the eyes of many.

“Get ready to listen to this .. he’s power lies in his aggressiveness that won’t get to me I hit him back with LOVE…Let’s stand up against the IGNORANT.

Taariq also shared a voice note clip he sent to Siv

In it, he says: “To me you are shameless and fameless. I need nothing from you. You know where I am. Nobody’s hiding

“Go get some kids first and talk to me. You’re speaking to a ‘real man’. Four kids that know how to use their equipment.

“I’m not scared of you. You are nobody in my eyes. Your following makes you who you are, and the steroids you are on”

Taariq ended his message by saying: “I love you, for the sake of God”.
