Metro FM personality, Lerato Kganyago has returned to hosting Instagram live sessions where she allows herself to voice out her grievances.

Despite having started the year with the promise to be more consistent on her YouTube channel. It seems that Kganyago still prefers to share her thoughts via Instagram instead of uploading videos.

As such, her latest Instagram live session saw Lerato revisit her angst and disdain for controversial entertainment commentator Musa Khawula, while also revisiting her past feud with the late Kuli Roberts.

VIDEO: Pissed Lerato Kganyago breathes fire at Musa Khawula

Musa Khawula has been a thorn in Lerato Kganyago’s side as early as 2022. Their feud started when Musa paddled the continuous comparisons between Lerato and Bonang Matheba by referring to her as Bonang Lite. Since then Musa has attacked Lerato as a personality, her marriage and her own fidelity with the recent allegations that she was having an affair with an ANC politician.

Taking to her Instagram live session, Lerato finally addressed the continued bullying she has been subjected to by Musa. Firstly, she made it clear that she has no respect for Musa. Not because he attacks her with the continued comparison with Bonang, but due to him attacking her “womb” and marriage.

Secondly, she let it be known that she has taken legal action against Khawula, which is an additional charge to the other eight that he has. Within that eight, allegedly, there is the inclusion of a murder charge.

Lastly, she clarified the allegation that she has sent people to intimidate Musa. Lerato stated that her brother did go to Musa’s studio where he shoots his YouTube channel. However, it was to serve him the legal documents and tell him to stop what he was doing, and not to physically intimidate him.

Moreover, it was then alleged that in light of supporting her stance that Musa is being paid by someone in the industry to continue tarnishing her name. Lerato then rehashed the bullying she experienced from the late and equally as controversial as Musa, broadcaster and entertainment personality Kuli Roberts.

This is in light of the viral clip which was recently circulated again of the late Kuli Roberts humiliating Lerato in front of her peers. This is as Kuli during their Vuzu roundtable referred to Lerato as “random blacks,” and suggested that it was better she was not invited because Bonang was present during the roundtable.

At the time the only person that was willing to stand up for Lerato and vocalise just how unfair Kuli was, was Boity. The other ZAlebs on the table were either laughing or deflecting, with Bonang clearly feeling uncomfortable as she understood that the matter was also meant to draw a reaction from her.

But, this year she has revealed she does not have time for Valentine’s Day as she is busy. Lerato responded to a Twitter user who said Valentine’s Day is around the corner.

The media personality responded “It should remain in that corner. Re busy ra bereka,” she replied a tweep.

A fan commented in her tweet, “I see what you’re doingyou’re checking how humongous is the pressure for this year, it’s on girl, we’re looking forward to see this year’s standard, wena you’re the queen of valentine.”

Lerato reiterated that she has no plans to go big this year and advised his fans not to expect anything from her. “I’m being very honest, please don’t expect anything over here. Carry on with your lives lol,” she tweeted.

Lerato Kganyago recently confirmed that she was no longer the owner of the luxurious 12 on Hillel Villa and Spa. The Metro FM DJ took to her Instagram stories to set the record straight that she had removed herself as a member of the hotel to focus on other business ventures.

“That orangutan MUSA knows very well that I removed myself from a member of 12 on Hillel Villa and Spa months ago because I decided to focus on my other businesses. It’s 2023 he must get over it, I know I bring him views,” she wrote.

She also debunked rumors that she had parted ways with her husband, Thami Ndlala. The story follows a report by City Press in 2022 that it was no longer glossy in the Ndlala home as Lerato had allegedly left Steyn City. According to Lerato, her marriage was intact on paper.

“I am married on paper, if you go to Home Affairs you will see that my name is Lerato Kganyago-Ndlala. I am not married by affiliation, I am married on paper, I am a wife and have never been divorced, and I am not being divorced

“I have always said that the day I say ‘husband’ it must be written on paper. I do not say it because it’s a nice thing to say. I say it because by law I am his wife,” she explained.

Media personality and club DJ Lerato Kganyago has confirmed that she is no longer the owner of the luxurious 12 on Hillel Villa and Spa in Northcliff, Johannesburg. The ownership of the hotel has always been under scrutiny on social media since reports emerged that her husband Thami Ndlala, gifted her with the 5-star boutique hotel on Valentine’s Day in 2022. Arguably, controversial blogger Musa Khawula, has been on Lerato’s tail for some time now, accusing her of allegedly lying about the hotel’s ownership. It is clear that the long-simmering beef between the two is far from over as Musa continues to press Lerato’s buttons.

Musa is causing a stir again on social media as he has shared receipts showing the hotel allegedly owes the City of Joburg 234,055.99. The blogger further claims that staffers at the hotel have not yet been paid their salaries and have been evicted. Musa maintains that Lerato was never the owner of the hotel. He even went as far as sharing a court order that states that Thami Ndlala, is the one who owns the hotel.
On Wednesday, Lerato took to her Instagram stories to state that she removed herself as a member of the hotel to focus on other business ventures.

In an Instagram live session, she said this year she is tired of being bigger and better. Lerato said she will correct any misleading and harmful misinformation about anything involving her name.
The Metro FM host also addressed claims about her alleged rocky marriage to her husband Thami Ndlala. This comes after City Press reported in 2022 that it was allegedly no longer glossy in the Ndlala household as Lerato had allegedly packed her bags and left her Steyn City marital home. The businesswoman has set the record straight that she is still married and her marriage is not collapsing as it is widely reported in the media.

“I am married on paper, if you go to Home Affairs you will see that my name is Lerato Kganyago-Ndlala. I am not married by affiliation, I am married on paper, I am a wife and have never been divorced, and I am not being divorced,” she explained

“Very nasty, she must not think of coming for me because I have recordings of her. She’s nasty, she’s a vile human being. She knows exactly what she did in my marriage,” she said.

She said Thobejane has never had an affair with her husband. She said she does not know the origin of these allegations. “The thing about an affair, I don’t know where it’s coming from. It’s not from me. I think it’s just people making things up about whatever, but I definitely know that my husband did not have an affair with Tebogo,” Lerato Kganyago said.

In an interview with TshisaLive, Tebogo denied claims that she had a hand in the ending of Lerato’s marriage. She added that she’s even scared of her life now.

“I had a conversation with a friend, or someone I thought was a friend. I have never been with Thami sexually. I am in fear for my life. Anything could happen to me. I am getting bullied again. It doesn’t matter what I did. She’s got brands behind her but was willing to sacrifice all of that to take me down. That conversation was between me and Thami. Nobody would have known about it if nobody went on social media, but now it’s a big drama,” she said.

When the mystery voice in the background attempted to prevent Kganyago from speaking on the matter in detail, Kganyago then threw out the socialite and influencer’s name Tebogo Thobejane labeling her a “vile” and “evil” human being.

As a result, interest was piqued as to what exactly Kganyago could be referring to as she suggested that she had recorded proof to corroborate her sentiments. But the public did not need receipts at the time as they put two-and-two together and believed that Thobejane might be the reason for her alleged separation. Moreso as Thobejane at the time was assumed to have deleted her Instagram.

But it seems after getting notified that her name was being tarnished on the social media streets. Thobejane returned to Instagram to share her side of the story. But her official statement on the matter only seemingly made matters worse as it did not state anything of consequence except to say she has had a private telephonic conversation with Kganyago to iron out their issues. But is seems hard to believe considering that Kganyago following her Instagram Live has not confirmed the matter nor denied it. So who is wrong in Acrimony?

Meanwhile, hackers have been targeting actors, with the recent scam being the impersonation of the South African television producer and creator of multi-award-winning soapie “Generations: The Legacy“, Mfundi Vundla.

Local actresses Busisiwe Mtshali and Andrea Dondolo recently took to their respective social media platforms to warn fellow actors about the “Generations” audition scam.

A week later, Dondolo detailed how she nearly became a victim of the same scam when she was contacted by someone posing as Vundla.

“I got a call from someone saying he is Mfundi Vundla. Well, I picked up a few subtle typos on the SMS but told myself to stop being so OCD,” shared the star.
I called back and he said he will call back in 10 mins with an international number. I did wonder why maàra then told myself ‘this is Mr Vundla’ rich people can call you with whatever number, maybe by the time he calls he will be on his private jet.

She continued: “I was beyond elated, he asked how soon can I come to Jozi for a meeting, without thinking I said ‘tomorrow’ haaa you don’t keep a destiny releaser waiting… He then gave me a number and said I must call it, it’s their travel agent. I must give the guy all the details and come back to him and tell him how much is a ticket.

“Honestly it was a bit odd but I was like, rich people do things differently maybe he wants to see if I take instructions well,” added the star.

Trouble in paradise: Lerato Kganyago moves out of the house as her marriage with Thami Ndlala gets ugly

South African media personality and Metro FM presenter Lerato Kganyago’s marriage to businessperson Thami Ndlala is on the rocks.

According to reliable sources, Kganyago allegedly moved out of the Steyn City home she shared with Ndlala and returned to her own house in Ruimsig, north of Johannesburg.

Cracks started appearing in the power couple’s union after Ndlala opened a case of theft against their domestic worker and her husband at the Douglasdale Police Station on Wednesday.

The businessperson accused the domestic worker of stealing a television set and two watches worth R3 million (which were uninsured) from him.

However, his wife of two years raised eyebrows when she came out in defence of the domestic worker, deposing her own police statement to the effect that the items to which her husband was referring had not been stolen, but were rather given to the helper more than a year ago.

Such gifts, she added, were not unusual, as the domestic worker and her husband had often been given items such as clothing and household goods.

Now sources close to the couple have revealed that the dispute is just the tip of the iceberg, as friction has been brewing in the Kganyago and Ndlala love nest for some time.

A friend of the couple said that the arrest of the domestic worker – who is still in police custody – had pushed media personality Kganyago to boiling point.

The source said:
The domestic worker and her husband were arrested at the Douglasdale Police Station. They had left with Lerato when she moved back into her own house last week. They’ve been working for her for over 10 years, since long before she married Thami.

Ndlala allegedly laid the charges of theft on Wednesday to spite Kganyago, as she is close to the domestic worker.

“The complainant alleged that, on the above mentioned date [November 8 2022] and at the above mentioned time [9pm], he was looking for his items when he realised that the television set and two Patek Philippe?watches were missing. The watches are worth R3 million and are not insured. He has two domestic workers from Zimbabwe and suspects one of them, who has access to his house,” read the police statement regarding the case.

Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo confirmed that police were investigating a case of theft and that the suspects had appeared at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

However, a source close to the couple that Kganyago had intervened and attempted to get the domestic workers released.

“The couple was arrested on Wednesday and still hadn’t been charged by Thursday, when Lerato sent her lawyers to try to get them out because no one knew what was happening,” said the source.

Another individual said that the domestic worker and her husband were allegedly owed close to R76 000 by
Ndlala, who had not paid them for work they had been doing in his hotel in Northcliff.

“Lerato and Thami have separated acrimoniously. Their case is with their respective lawyers,” added the person.

Ndlala and Kganyago were married in a traditional ceremony at her Boksburg home on March 21 2020. The festivities later continued at Ndala’s then home in Sandhurst.

The pair have been the envy of many since then, with Kganyago receiving exorbitantly expensive Valentine’s Day gifts from Ndlala.

Ndlala denied the allegations of their separation, saying that Kganyago visited their Ruimsig home regularly, especially at month-end.

Ndlala said:

Her moving into the house she owned before we got married isn’t a new thing. She also stays there when I’m travelling, just to ensure that things are in order at the house.

He added that Kganyago had nothing to do with the case against the domestic workers, as only his belongings had allegedly been stolen.

Another source close to the couple said that Kganyago “gave her statement in support of her domestic worker because she truly understands what it feels like to be marginalised based on your social standing”.

“She really doesn’t like the way Thami’s vilifying their housekeeper just because she chose to leave the marital home with Lerato. This guy is abusing our justice system with fabricated lies. A six-year-old has to date spent four nights without his parents, all because a narcissistic man feels scorned by his wife leaving him.”

This statement was made in relation to the domestic worker and her partner’s six-year-old child left in Kganyago’s care since the pair were arrested.

Kganyago had not commented on the matter by the time of going to print.

Lerato then responded by asking where he was taking her to.
