Kanye West works hard to make kids better humans

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian kids have been raised under the flashes of paparazzis and the celeb world. But the trailblazer musician often doubled down on the importance of hard work and discipline in their upbringing. In 2013, the Chicago rapper told the New York Times, “I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother. As simple as that.”

Protecting them from what he considered the ills of the gala world, the father-of-four has taught his kids about some important lessons of life.

An insider spilled the beans on the teachings, “Kanye loves his kids and wants the best for them and wants them to certainly enjoy what they are provided from their parent’s successes, but he also wants them to live a simpler life and appreciate what they can work hard for.”

Working on his children, the 46-year-old educated them to become down-to-earth and to never shy away from working hard.

“Kanye doesn’t want his kids to be jaded and spoiled, he wants them to know they can do anything, but it just takes a little more hard work to achieve that,” the tipster tattled to Daily Mail.

Kanye West’s Plan to Move Donda Academy To L.A Church Thwarted By Petitioners

Kanye West had plans to move his Donda Academy from a Simi Valley campus to a church in Los Angeles, but this will no longer happen after thousands of people have petitioned against it. According to Radar Online, over 12,000 people pushed back against Ye’s hopes to relocate his controversial school to Cornerstone Christian Church.

The musician and fashion mogul had been eyeing the spot since November 2022, following which he met with Pastor Ronald Nagin several times to discuss the shift. The proposition, however, will no longer move forward.

Over the past year, the academy’s enrollment has dropped immensely alongside the Chicago native’s deteriorating reputation that was brought about by his blatantly antisemitic remarks, among countless other issues.

Still, sources close to Ye have conveyed that he has no plans of discontinuing the institution named after his late mother. Though the parents who send their children to West’s school haven’t commented much on the state of affairs because they were made to sign NDAs, the establishment is currently negotiating three lawsuits.

In early June, Kanye was sued by former Donda Academy teacher, Timanii Meeks, who was dismissed from her position after allegedly notifying the Simi Valley private Christian school’s authorities that the building was unsafe.

According to NBC News, Meeks filed a lawsuit with the Los Angeles County Superior Court after she was fired last year after parents complained about her classroom having no books.

Meeks became the third ex-teacher to file a suit against Kanye and California’s Donda Academy following Cecilia Hailey and Chekarey Byers earlier this year. The three are repped by the same employment law firm, which believes their firings were “retaliatory.”

“Clearly, Ye has a big problem on his hands with this school, and the addition of Ms. Meeks to the complaint only serves to reinforce the nightmarish conditions for staff and students at Donda Academy,” attorney Ron Zambrano said.

He added: “Ms. Meeks was fired months before Cecilia Hailey and Chekarey Byers were terminated but all three clearly witnessed the same illegal and disturbing code violations and conduct at the school, and all three were given the same retaliatory and unlawful treatment merely for trying to stand up for the students’ rights to a meaningful education.”

Meeks has added to the piling list of complaints about Donda Academy, claiming there was exposed wiring, safety hazards, and issues with “bullying and assaults” taking place at the school. She was subsequently terminated and was allegedly given no reason for getting canned.

There’s been a litany of claims about the much-maligned Donda Academy, which was shut down in October 2022 following Ye’s antisemitic rants.

Previous reports stated that students were only served sushi for lunch and were not allowed to bring any outside drinks to the school besides water. Other complaints include West’s alleged refusal to allow classes to take place on the second floor “because he’s afraid of stairs” and that no one was allowed to wear jewelry simply because he didn’t like it.

It has also been alleged that both children and teachers alike were not allowed to sit in chairs, thus forcing them to either use foam cushions, stools or simply stand throughout class.

Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori has been a positive influence on the rapper as she is keeping him “grounded” following his heated social media rants. The Heartless hitmaker exchanged vows with the architectural designer in a secret ceremony sometime after he finalized divorce from ex Kim Kardashian.

Speaking of the newlyweds, an insider told The Messenger that the rapper’s circle has also “gotten smaller” and only contains people who “speak the truth.”

West, who now goes by Ye, was cancelled by major brands after he tweeted that he was “going death con 3 [sic] On JEWISH PEOPLE” sparking global controversy.

However, the source said that Ye and Censori “have finally found a moment of peace in their relationship” following the intense backlash.

“They are both focused on making the kids’ lives content and seamless,” the insider said of his four kids with Kardashian. “He is still very much involved in their lives as much as he can. She has really been keeping him grounded,” the source said of Censori, adding, “He likes that he and Bianca have a lot in common and can work and collaborate together.”

A spiritual adviser, who is still in contact with Ye despite his controversial remarks, revealed that his social circle has “gotten smaller” and only contains people who can “speak truth into his life.”

“Anyone who is in Ye’s life has to want to be there; they have to be intentional about taking time with him,” the adviser revealed. “And it might surprise you, but he isn’t surrounding himself with people who just believe everything he believes.”

“He’s open to at least listening to people who believe differently, although he doesn’t seem to let it change him right now. That’s the reality of Ye,” the insider explained.

Kanye West has got married again. The hip hop star who split from Kim Kardashian in February 2021 after seven years of marriage recently exchanged vows with Bianca Censori in a private ceremony, though it is not believed the union is legally binding as they haven’t filed a marriage certificate, “TMZ” reports.

West was first pictured with Censori who has worked as an architectural designer at his company Yeezy for several years – at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills earlier this week, and he was wearing a wedding ring.

Sources told the outlet that the jewelry signifies the 45-year-old star’s commitment to Censori.

Meanwhile, Kardashian recently admitted she was worried that people will be “scared” to date her because West – the father of her children North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 – isn’t the “easiest” person to deal with.

She said: “There’s a part of me that is like, ‘Oh my God, is everyone gonna be scared because I don’t have the easiest ex?’. I don’t think that’s fair for me to ever put someone in a situation or bring a new person in who could be super innocent.

“Then there’s a side of me that’s like, ‘Why would I ever have to live that way?’”

The 42-year-old beauty also cried on the podcast over the struggles of co-parenting with the rapper, but said she knows she will find her “forever” partner one day.

She said: “It’s really f****** hard. I don’t know if I’ll get married again, but I’ll have my forever partner. I know that. He’s coming, absolutely. “I’m at peace and I’m gonna have fun until that happens.”

Last year, Kardashian enjoyed a brief romance with Pete Davidson, but the comic was subjected to numerous threats and online abuse from West.

The “Kardashians” star previously said: “Divorce is difficult enough on our children, and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”

Kanye West’s former business manager claims West has been missing for weeks

Kanye West has had a whirlwind year, in 2022. When the year began, Kanye was still celebrating his billions, courtesy of profitable partnerships with Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga. With the Yeezy brand, Ye exceeded every other rapper-led clothing line. As opposed to simply being a rapper collaborating, or having a niche, Kanye West built Yeezy into a true competitor to Nike’s Jordan Brand. However, one ill-advised interview on “Drink Champs” nearly cost him his career. Now, his former business manager is saying he’s missing.

Kanye West managed to succeed, in a very difficult avenue. In music, Kanye became the biggest rapper in the game. From 2004 until 2016, Ye was one of the top five most popular rappers in the game. Between the years of 2016 and 2021, Kanye West went from being $53 million in the hole to being a billionaire. While Forbes estimated Kanye at $1.8 billion and eventually $2 billion, Ye said he was worth $5.5 billion, later $6.6 billion, and then $10 billion. Conservatively, Kanye West claimed he was worth closer to $7 billion.

Kanye West is currently listed at $400 million as his net worth. Daily, the news about him goes from bad to worse. Recently, there were reports of Yeezy being $63,000 behind on office rent. As a result, Yeezy is facing eviction. Now, Kanye West’s former business manager says the embattled rapper is missing. The ex-manager is trying to serve Kanye with legal documents. However, he said Ye has been out of contact for weeks. This has made it difficult to serve him the papers.

Kanye West mentions another presidential run

The artist, who goes by the name Kanye West, posted Thursday a swirling symbol on his Twitter account with “Ye” and the number 24, apparently representing 2024, the year of the next US presidential election.

The rapper and fashion designer Kanye West has suggested he will run for president and wants Donald Trump to be his running mate. Trump, for his part, brushed aside a recent meeting with West as of no significance.

The artist, who goes by the name Ye, posted Thursday a swirling symbol on his Twitter account with “Ye” and the number 24, apparently representing 2024, the year of the next US presidential election.

Then the rapper posted a video of himself speaking about a meeting this week with the former president in Florida.

“I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about (was) me asking him to be my vice president,” West said.

“Trump started basically screaming at me at the table, telling me I’m going to lose,” West said. “I’m like, hold on Trump, you’re talking to Ye.”

Trump, who tried to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election he lost to Joe Biden, announced last week that he would run again in 2024.

Trump posted on Friday on his Truth Social platform about his meeting with West, saying the two discussed politics “to a lesser extent” than business, and that West had asked Trump “for advice concerning some of his difficulties.”

The two “got along great,” Trump said, adding that he told the rapper “he should definitely not run for President” because “‘any voters you may have should vote for TRUMP.’”

In an earlier post on Truth Social, Trump said a meal the two shared Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago was “quick and uneventful.”

Trump said the rapper called ahead to arrange the dinner, then “unexpectedly showed up with three of his friends, whom I knew nothing about.”

The group ate on the back patio of Mar-a-Lago, then West and his friends “left for the airport,” Trump said.

West had posted after the dinner on Tuesday that he had posed the question to Trump about joining his presidential ticket.

“What you guys think his response was when I asked him to be my running mate in 2024?” West asked.

It was not clear whether the rapper was serious about his intentions — or if he sought publicity after a spate of PR moves that put him in a negative light.

West is a veteran at garnering publicity — and dabbling in politics. He ran for president in 2020, but got fewer than 70,000 votes, coming in seventh place.

Last month, German sportswear giant Adidas severed its lucrative tie-up with West after the star made anti-Semitic statements.

Adidas later said the termination of ties with West had forced it to slash its forecast of net income for 2022 by half. West had helped Adidas develop its successful “Yeezy” line of clothing.

Paris fashion house Balenciaga and US clothing retailer Gap have also ended ties with West, who appeared at a Paris fashion show last month wearing a shirt with the slogan “White Lives Matter,” a rebuke to the Black Lives Matter racial equality movement.

Kanye West apologises for hurting his people with George Floyd drug slur

Kanye West has apologised for hurting his “people” by falsely claiming George Floyd died from the drug fentanyl.

The 45-year-old rapper had made the claim despite Floyd being murdered by a police officer suffocating him by placing a knee on his neck for more than nine minutes. He backtracked on his remarks to paparazzi on Friday night in an exchange that was captured on video and has now been shared online.

West said about footage of Floyd’s killing: “When I see that video as a black person, it hurts my feelings. And I know that police do attack and America is generally racist.

“And I understand that when we got to say Black Lives Matter, the idea of it made us feel good together as a people, right?

“So when I questioned the death of George Floyd, it hurt my people. I want to apologise. Because God has showed me by what adidas is doing, by what the media is doing, I know how it feels to have a knee on my neck now.

“So thank you God for humbling me and letting me know how it really felt. Because how could the richest black men ever be humbled other than to be made to not be a billionaire in front of everyone off of one comment.”

West was referring to brands including adidas severing ties with him, which he claims cost him $2 billion (R36bn) in one day.

The family of George Floyd is preparing a $250-million lawsuit against West for his unfounded claims about the murder victim, made during a podcast earlier this month.

Floyd’s death sparked global outrage Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty of three murder and manslaughter charges last year and is serving two prison sentences concurrently of more than 22 years.

South African comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host, Trevor Noah has been making headlines in recent weeks as he announced that he was set to leave his presenting role as the host of The Daily Show after seven years since taking over from Jon Stewart. Moreover, the respected and internationally recognized comedian has since confirmed that his last episode will air on Thursday, 8 December 2022.

Not only that, but Noah is also gearing up for his formal return after leaving The Daily Show back to South Africa as he is set to tour nationally with his upcoming one-man standup act. While the focus has been on this, Kanye West has overtaken the celebratory run for Noah as it is believed that he was inciting violence on Noah with his recent comments.

In March 2022, when Kim Kardashian was dating Pete Davidson and Kanye was in his feels on social media threatening Kim and Pete. Trevor Noah on The Daily Show suggested that the public and Kim Kardashian should be wary of Kanye.

Noah suggested that from the outside, West’s sentiments might have been funny and clickbait for the most part. That underlying the jokes and conversation around the matter is the real threat West poses to Kim’s life. A fact at the time that resulted in West labeling Noah as a c*@n, which is a derogatory term that was used to describe white-aspirant African Americans during and after slavery.

Video: Kanye West fires shots at Trevor Noah

While Kanye released a public apology at the time, it seems that that was an action that he was advised by his PR team. This is as West, who is currently on a media run, has again focussed on dragging Noah for filth every chance he gets, this time leading to suggestions that he was attempting to invoke xenophobic attacks on Noah.

This is as an excerpt from his recent Drink Champs interview suggested that “Trevor Noah, not even from America, he just looks black.” Sentiment which had many, specifically those who are not West’s fans, suggesting that his sentiments were an attempt to invoke a xenophobic attack on Noah.

More so as seconds after suggesting that Noah is not black, he would go one to call his own biracial children “black.” For those that are not die-hard fans, this was just another reason why it has been getting harder and harder to defend West and his recent antics including the White Lives Matter contentious scandal.

Kanye West ends Gap partnership, aims to open own boutiques

Kanye West and retail brand Gap announced an end to their partnership on Thursday, with the artist now known as Ye saying he plans to open his own stores. GAP left Ye no choice but to terminate their collaboration agreement because of GAP’s substantial noncompliance,” wrote the artist’s lawyer, Nicholas Gravante, in a letter, elements of which were seen by AFP.

The rapper, producer, fashion designer and mercurial personality inked a much-touted deal with Gap in 2020, with plans to marry the struggling retailer’s clothing classics with West’s Yeezy designs.

In a letter to employees on Thursday, a copy of which was obtained by AFP, Gap brand CEO Mark Breitbard said that management had decided to “wind down the partnership” with West.

“While we share a vision of bringing high-quality, trend-forward, utilitarian design to all people… how we work together to deliver this vision is not aligned,” he said.

Breitbard clarified that several Yeezy Gap branded products already in development before the breakup would continue to be released, “as planned.” Wall Street took the news badly, with Gap shares dropping nearly three percent by around 1700 GMT.

The announcement caps months of social media complaints from West, which include accusations that he’s been left out of the creative process and criticisms of marketing delays. Gravante said West has “diligently” tried to work through issues with the company but “he has gotten nowhere.”

“GAP’s substantial noncompliance with its contractual obligations has been costly,” he continued. “Ye will now promptly move forward to make up for the lost time by opening Yeezy retail stores.

Gap had been expecting $1 billion from Yeezy products alone within five years of the ten-year signed partnership, according to The New York Times.

West saw the collaboration as a way to increase the accessibility of his products, having previously put out limited series at high price points with financing from the German brand Adidas — which the rapper has also criticized in recent months.

His collection, launched in 2022, echoed West’s own style — dark, baggy clothes and variations on the hooded sweatshirt that was once Gap’s signature garment.

Gap Inc also owns the Banana Republic, Old Navy and Athleta brands. Fading in popularity for years, the company has closed some 350 Gap and Banana Republic stores since October 2020.

Kanye West need to grow up – Kid Cudi

Kid Cudi is fuming at Kanye West for not losing his grip on Kim Kardashian. The rapper, who was divorced by the makeup mogul in 2021, often turns to his social media to speak about how he wants to ‘reunite’ his family.

When Kim went on to date Pete Davidson in October 2021, Kanye did not hold back from bullying the new boyfriend. Speaking about his inability to let go, Cudi asked Ye to ‘grow up’ in a recent interview with Esquire.

“If you can’t be a grown man and deal with the fact that you lost your woman? That’s not my f–king problem. You need to own up to your s–t like every man in this life has,” he said.

“I’ve lost women, too. And I’ve had to own up to it. I don’t need that in my life. I don’t need it. Cudi’s comments weeks after Kanye turned to Instagram to celebrate Kim’s breakup with comedian Pete Davidson.
