Carol Tshabalala is over the moon as she is celebrating a huge milestone. The star who is known as the First Lady of Sports is marking 22 years in the sporting industry.

Carol started off her career at the age of 18 and ever since then, she has been dominating her talents and been an inspiration to many women who are interested in sports.

In her words, she said she has faced a lot of challenges as a woman entering a male-dominated industry.

“A lot of challenged I faced in the sports industry came when I was starting out. It was difficult to change as women in sports broadcasting were still largely a myth. So, having to prove myself constantly and show that I belong was a daily part of my work’

Mzansi sports anchor Carol Tshabalala finally gives fans a glimpse of the love of her life.

Following lobola successful lobola negotiations last month, Carol Tshabalala announced that she was married traditionally, wearing a stunning blue dress fitting for the occasion.

Carol said that the negotiations are a coming together of the Zulu and Pedi families.

This is believed to be Carol’s second marriage as she was married to Solomon Manana when she was only 19 years old and has two kids with her ex.

Earlier this year, Carol Tshabalala announced that her partner had asked for her hand in marriage.

Carol took to her social media pages to reveal that her fiancé knows what having real taste is, “My fiancé has impeccable taste! Only the best, only @thediamondguy_” In another post she wrote, “Here’s to being Mrs. S. I love you now and forever more my J.”

The star took to her social media to share the news as she post a video and a picture from the engagement and showcased her diamond rock.

When it comes to women is sports journalism, no name rings a bell much louder than Carol Tshabalala. She is one of thr leading female sports anchors with a career dating back over 20 years ago.

Carol graduated from Krugersdorp High School in 2000 and would later join the SABC team, where she worked as a voice-over-artist, television anchor and a programme director.

Over the years she worked as a sports news reporter in a number of radio stations, where she compiled and reported on anything sports related. In 2011, following a ten year career with the SABC she left to join their rivals Supersport TV as she felt she was not used to the fullest of her abilities.

Carol Tshabalala is a career driven women, she was previously married to Solomon Manana and their union was blessed with two sons. She is also raising her late sister son, now as her own. At this stage we can not be so sure as to who the beautiful Carol is seeing.
