Bonang Matheba left for New York City a few months ago without informing her fans on social media. So if she had to make a return, she might also keep it hush-hush.

A report from a local publication states that Bonang has returned to South Africa and is keeping a very low profile.

When Bonang heard of such news, she laughed out loud and said nothing else.

A fan even welcomed her back but she continued laughing.

Last month, she mentioned that she will be home for Christmas so she could return in the next coming days. Unless she decides to spend her first Christmas at the Big Apple.

Bonang has always made her plans known and during an interview with Drum Magazine in 2019, she said she was planning to move to the USA after the Sun Met in 2020 but COVID-19 hit the world. “I’m moving to the US after the Sun Met next year and the plan is to get there to put the plans in motion.

“I have a hunger to be great and it is addictive,” she said. “I work hard, I make sacrifices because I want to be the best. If I had the opportunity to speak to the young Bonang who got into the industry very young, I would tell her to keep going.”

Bonang is making moves in silence, so much to the point that her fans and haters do not know what she is doing in NYC. Rea Gopane told Bonang to come back home because her plans to conquer New York failed dismally.

After Bonang revealed she had parted ways with her management company, Rea laughed at her and rejoiced in her heartache.

Well, Queen B still has her business running in SA, which might be one of her sources of income.

The topic of having children is very sensitive, especially to women. We have seen a number of female celebs come out to openly speak about their fertility issues and some make it known that they wish to wait. Just like Bonang, who said in an interview some time back, that she wants to first live her life before she settles down and brings another life into this earth. But these trolls did not get the memo, and B put them in their place.

Bonang Matheba attacked for not having children

Bonang Matheba is having the time of her life in New York City currently and doing all the things she said she would do before becoming a mother. Bonang has carved her name in the entertainment scene in South Africa and parts of Africa. She is also aiming to go global hence her stay in America. She has a pretty impressive body of work that a troll wanted to know when is she extending her family by introducing kids.

“I don’t understand why they don’t wanna have kids so that the legacy extends,” said a troll in that now deleted tweet. Another then tagged Bonang and asked her when, but Bonang was not prepared to answer that question. So she told the intrusive trolls to “go f**k yourselves.”

In an interview with IOL, Bonang said she does get pressured to settle down especially because she is in her 30s. “My life right now I want to party, to enjoy my alcohol beverages, to go to nightclubs and party. I want to get on an Emirates plane at two o’clock in the morning and not stress anybody,” she said.

“I love children and I know as soon as I have a child everything is going to stop. I can’t have a child now because I am very selfish with myself and with my time. There are certain things that I want to do first and achieve before I bring someone into this world,” she opened up.

Bonang Matheba announces date for her homecoming

Bonang Matheba‘s fans are pleading with the media personality for her return to SA, even if it’s just for a day and she’s revealed that she’ll be coming home this Christmas.

Since 2019 Bonang had been vocal about her plans to relocate abroad and she finally made the big move this year to New York, though she did not reveal her reason.

A local Twitter user took to her timeline asking her when she’ll be visiting the country again, to which she responded in a now-deleted post that she’ll be travelling back to SA for Christmas.

“I’ll come home for Christmas” she wrote.

The media personality is now facing a legal battle with her former agency and celebrity management group Celebrity Services Africa (CSA) and she admitted that she had learned from her debacle with the company.

In an exclusive interview, Bonang said people within the creative space could learn from her experience and shared some gems as well.

“Creatives and talent and business start-ups and young people entering entertainment, media and those entering business must acquire knowledge and have solid checks and balances when dealing with agencies that represent you and your brand.

“Get every proposal or agreement checked by lawyers. Hire your own independent lawyers and other experts — so that you do not get the agency to ‘help’ you with reviewing business proposals. This is critical. It was key for me to identify some issues,” she said.

SA Global hit back at Bonang’s accusations, dismissing her allegations as being without merit and accusing her or telling half-truths about the situation.

In a statement, CSA reiterated its earlier statement about the matter.

“Per our statement issued on Tuesday, Ms Matheba is in breach of multiple contracts with various clients as she has been absent to these brands and indeed her own for the past six months. The matter is with our legal team, who are awaiting a response to various letters sent to Ms Matheba’s lawyer.”

They added, “We are not in the business of destroying brands, but rather in the business of building them. However, we do believe in the merits of contracts and believe agreed-upon terms should be respected and honoured.

“We do hope an amicable solution can be found, where the value that has been created is not undermined or discredited. Nonetheless, we are sad that there has been a parting of ways. We look back with fond memories of the achievements we made together and wish Bonang every success.”

In a statement read out on the Twitter space, she said she said she terminated her contract with them, citing possible criminal conduct. “Today I wish to share with you some disturbing news. So over the last few years I have been in a business relationship with a management group to represent my brand. I have put my trust in them and gave them stewardship over brand Bonang to build and support it across all mediums including entertainment, fashion, and entrepreneurship,” she said.
Today I announce that I have terminated the contract with them and they no longer represent me, or any of my business ventures. Furthermore, I have instructed my lawyers to investigate the possibility of criminal conduct by the company and its representatives. I will revert over the next few days with more updates so that others can be aware of what I consider as their very unsavoury behaviour,” Bonang said before her space crashed.

Hitting back at B’s claims, the company accused her of being in breach of multiple contracts: “For the record, @Bonang Ms Matheba is currently in breach of multiple contracts with various clients as she has been derelict to these brands and indeed her own for the past six months. There is no merit in these scandalous allegation, we look forward to the day in court with @Bonang; exposing the false and half truths that she has been spreading.

Bonang Matheba is trending once again for the wrong reason as she gets dragged into a discussion on Rea Gopane’s podcast. The YouTuber took aim at not only Mr. JazziQ but also Bonang. The podcaster who popularised the sentence, “Scoop told us,” has birthed yet another one which says, “Ntsiki told us,” when he spoke about Bonang’s House Of BNG drama.

Mocking the entrepreneur, Rea Gopane shared that Bonang is not smart as she makes people think she is. She has all that energy for me…can you imagine,” Rea said referencing the the legal battle he got embroiled in after he made his defamatory statement.

“Scoop told us that AKA is on coke, and Bonang is the one that got him into cocaine. Scoop told us that, bro, after the interview we had him right here at this place,” Rea said at the time.

“She has all that energy for me but her but her paperwork and business is not even right, but you wanna flex to your fans,” he said. “Bonang is not as smart as she pretends to be. All she is good at is the fan base she has, that attacks people,” he alleged.

Rea even dragged Ntsiki Mazwai into this, one of the few women who questioned Bonang’s involvement with House Of BNG saying she does not own it, but she is just a marketing gimmick. Rea said Ntsiki is a smart woman because she has been saying this and she has never been shy to point this out.

The podcaster even said Bonang makes her lawyers do stupid stuff like making sending police officers to his place. “Do the real work of securing the bag,” he said. You running away from the big boys, she fooled everybody, she was going to vineyard and taking pictures saying “girls with vineyards”, Bonang does not own a f*** vineyard,” he mocked.

Bonang Matheba leaves fans in suspense after dropping hints on a big reveal, which will happen today by 1 pm.

Last week, the media personality made it known that she’s been quiet for a long time and she has some things to spill.

“…seems I’ve been quiet for far too long,” she tweeted.

Knowing that she’s abroad, in America, many assumed it was issues about her career while in South Africa, but she disappointed fans by keeping mute afterwards.

Returning to Twitter on Monday night, Queen B made it known that she’s finally set to talk, but the spilling will be done today.

However, she had many of her fans sleepless as she used triggering phrases about the tea she’s set to spill.

She called someone a liar, and said it’s time for everyone to know.

However, some of her fans didn’t buy the story line she’s composing already, as they said she probably just want to announce launching another business, and she’s trying to garner lots of attention before breaking the news.

Well, this Tuesday is Bonang Matheba’s day, and fans anticipate all she has to reveal.

A day has passed now and Bonang Matheba still has not let the cat out of the bag. As per her promise, Queen Bey has something to get off her chest but she is making her fans wait for it.

Although her famous champagne House Of BNG Brut MCC has been announced as the official celebratory drink for the Miss South Africa 2021 beauty pageant, Bonang has something bigger she wants to drop – FILES.

The event is set to take place on Saturday, October 16, at the Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town.

She hinted a few hours after the announcement was made and that was a day ago, so sis is really making fans beg for it.

Bonang says she has been bottling this up for far too long now and has to get things off her chest, “…seems I’ve been quiet for far too long”

Bonang Matheba threatens to spill secrets

We guess we will just have to wait..as we are still waiting for B to drop those files on her former Being Bonang producer, Legend Manqele. Bonang said shooting the reality show has been her worst nightmare to date and told fans the possibility of another season is close to none. The Being Bonang door is closed, and Bonang has made that very clear.

Bonang Matheba threatens to spill secrets

“Making Being Bonang Season 3 was one of the worst working experiences of my life!! Glad it’s ending…remind me to tell y’all why one day!” – we are still waiting since 2019!

But judging from her responses and everything, the real problem seems to be the producer, Legend Manqele although we are still waiting for B to confirm that. She shaded him when he said, “the enemy of black, is black,” to which Bonang replied with, “lol – laughing out loud.” This was after the whole theft saga involving Somizi and his cooking show, Dinner At Somizi’s.

Bonang did not say the reality show business is closed, but she simply said Being Bonang is a thing of the past because they owe her money. She had another two-part reality series called A Very Bonang Year, which broke viewing records.

“I’m so excited to have a special on SABC 1. It’ll be very different from ‘Being Bonang’ because even if viewers have followed my journey, the show goes beyond social media with a behind-the-scenes look into a new chapter in my business career and life. I am taking viewers into my confidence” said Bonang.

Clapping back at her claims, Legend threw her under the bus and told The Citizen that the reality show got cancelled because it was simply not doing very well. “The tweet doesn’t refer to my company or anyone specific. All money was paid to her management. For the record, Being Bonang was canceled because it wasn’t performing. It was the channel that decided not to continue with the reality show,” Manqele told the publication.

Mzansi’s favorite IT girl Bonang Matheba might be living her best life in the Big Apple, but she continues to make boss moves in the country. Bonang, who owns her luxurious sparkling wine, House Of BNG is on cloud nine as the Miss SA organization has decided to continue their partnership.

Bonang’s House of BNG will continue to be the official celebration partner of the prestigious beauty pageant. The event is set to take place on Saturday, October 16, at the Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town.

The Miss SA Instagram account shared “Cheers to pageant week. We are grateful to continue our partnership with @houseofbng as our official celebratory partner for 2021!”

Bonang’s champopo has been doing well in the market. According to Trans Africa Radio Net in May 500, 000 cans of her sparkling wine House of BNG’s Nectar range were sold in four months.

” I’m extremely grateful for the response shown to The House of BNG and its month-to-month growth and so proud of all the innovations the brand has made over the last two years. I’m also very excited that The House of BNG is now represented in Checkers LiquorShop nationally,” said Matheba.

Bonang and Miss SA have been working together for several years. She has hosted the pageant twice in a row. This year it will be hosted by TV personality Anele Mdoda and she has encouraged television and online viewers to tune in as the next queen is crowned

“It’s going to be a beautiful evening – finding our new Miss South Africa and celebrating an extraordinary reign from Miss South Africa 2020, Shudufhadzo Musida, who has really raised the bar.

“There have been big changes in the pageant since I started being involved. The team running it is younger and braver and there is no set standard of beauty. I used to get so annoyed when we were shown, for example, a Miss Venezuela and got told this was what international pageants were looking for, and I would be like, yes … for them! The main currency now is authenticity.’ she said
