AKA expresses disappointment after the killing of a protester in Wits

Earlier today, it was reported that one person has been shot dead in Braamfontein allegedly by police.

It is believed that the incident occurred in the early hours of today when police were trying to disperse Wit students who were protesting about student funding.

Taking to Twitter, AKA expressed how disappointed he is with the way police handles issues now.

The rapper stated that police fires at any students they see even if yo are wearing a read beret or a yellow T-shirt.

AKA first gave the public a glimpse of girlfriend Nelli Tembe in 2020 and described her as a private person.

When asked by his fans if he’s going to feature her in any of his music videos, as he has previously done with his ex-girlfriend Bonang Matheba, his response was “Not a chance. She’s VERY private. First non-celebrity I’ve dated since Uhm … 2008.”

All of Nelli’s social media pages are private and not much is known about her besides the rapper gushing about her regularly.

The rapper was recently alleged to have broken the alcohol band which was recently removed by President Cyril Ramaphosa. AKA denied the allegation by stating that what he was drinking was 100 percent apple juice and not alcohol.
