The former telenovela The Queen actress shared a sweet message on social media on Thursday, 22 September, after meeting Chance the Rapper at an event in Ghana.

The 47-year-old posted: “I decided to go elsewhere to play with other kids and found this awesome cool man @chancetherapper.”

Some of her fans and industry peers shared how lovely she looked with the rapper, with Salamina Mosese showing some love to both of them.

Then SpeechTheDreamer commented: “Woah, @chancetherapper and @ramichuene. This is beautiful black excellence.”

Sandile M said she deserved 150 cows from the rapper and a Mercedes-Benz.

In the snap which she shared on her Instagram, the two adults can be seen holding a sleeping little one as they try to remake the photo of apartheid protestor Hector Pieterson being carried by Mbuyisa Makhubo as his sister runs next to them after he was shot during the protests.

Many South Africans found that the photo was in bad taste and wasted no time taking to the comment section to slam the actress.

South African actress Rami Chuene recently got slammed by many Instagram users.

This was after she shared a photo of her daughter Kefiloe Chuene and actor Sandile Mhlangu jokingly remaking the photo that went viral of schoolboy Hector Pieterson after he was shot by apartheid police in June 1967.

In the photo, the two adults hold a sleeping baby in the same way Mbuyisa Makhubo held a dying Hector as they rushed to get some help.

And over a month later, the Giyani: Land of Blood actress has revealed that it was all a prank and that the outfit was from a scene she was shooting for the SABC2 show.

In her prank reveal, the star posted a trailer video of Season 2 of Giyani: Land of Blood, where she can be seen in the wedding gown in one of the scenes. She thanked her friends and family for going with her prank.

“Well, in my defense I never said…Thank you to ALL my family and friends for playing along. You were all amazing. Your time, your NDA responses and the vibe you caused went beyond my expectations. My poor parents fielded calls from very upset relatives! The thespian saw an influx of congratulatory messages from friends and fans. But it was the celerity friends who ‘confirmed’ that they witnessed a beautiful union and that Rami was actually married.

Now, entertainment commentator Phil Mphela has made people want to take back their congratulations. Rami has been revealed as the newest addition to SABC 2’s Giyani: Land Of Blood. The picture she posted of herself donning a white wedding gown, was part of the script.

The first of it’s kind Xitsonga scripted drama series returns for a second season on November 1.

Rami Chuene has not said anything as yet about the wedding and whether or not it is scripted. But we have to give it to her, she definitely pulled a good trick on us.

She might not be remarried as yet however that does not mean she is not in a loving relationship. On social media, Rami hinted that she is in a loving relationship and is very excited, “When you’re with someone that reminds you that it’s not unusual when everything is beautiful.”

Programme manager Jacqui Hlongwane spoke to Daily Sun about the drama filled season 2.

“Not only can they look forward to seeing their favourite characters back, but SABC is delighted to announce that Rami will join season 2 – life will never be the same again in Giyani for sure,” Hlongane told the publication.
