There is always two sides to every story and this situation between DJ Zinhle and Lerato Kganyago is proof of that. Yesterday we reported that DJ Zinhle revealed she did not get invited to Lerato Kganyago’s “wedding” to Thami Ndala – but we now know that it was not a wedding. Calling her out on her lie is Lerato who spoke to Mac G on his Podcast And Chill series and she explained what happened.

On the Honey TV talk show, Talk With Toke Makinwa, Zinhle shared that she was never invited to Lerato Kganyago’s wedding and she did not know that she was getting married.

“One, I didn’t know she was getting married and two she forgot to invite me,” Zinhle laughed.

This did not sit well with Lerato Kganyago who called Zinhle out on her lie and said she did invite Zinhle to her “celebration” but she did not get a response. Lerato claimed that Zinhle is opening up a can of worms by continuously speaking about this.

Lerato claimed that she invited DJ Zinhle only and not the other girls because of loyalty.

“That left a very bad taste in my mouth because Zinhle and I are like sisters. I was disappointed of the fact, she actually even answered that question…my manager actually sent me the clip and that’s like half truth, you know what happened. She does say she was invited, but what happened after that or before that is the question… At that time because my friendship with all the other girls was like just a bit offish, she was the only one I invited, because she is my girl and I’ve always been loyal to her and I’ll always be loyal to her.”

She then explained that everybody in their group of friends were going through a very rough patch but to her it felt a bit offish. So she explained that she feels as though she could have expressed more openly. Lerato then clarified that it was not a wedding at the time but it was more of a celebration, “I distanced myself from everything else. It wasn’t even a wedding it was just a celebration, I still didn’t have my traditional wedding or a white wedding it was just a celebration.”

Lerato then added that she sent Zinhle a DM telling her what she was planning to do a private event and that she should pull through. But the team asked her why did she not send a WhatsApp message at least because they are friends but Lerato said she probably should have.

“What I wanna say is her and I have gone through so much, and as a friend I’ve been so loyal to her, and she respects friendships and ex friendships that much that when she answered the question, I was like now you are opening up a can of worms, and you are telling your side of the story, and its like half truth, and now people are gonna start speculating, and we are trying to be in a good space as friends because nobody is perfect.”

In conclusion Lerato said she is not a perfect friend and neither is Zinhle. But she said she would take a bullet for Zinhle.

Heartbreak as Lerato Kganyago suffers another miscarriage – Dineo Ranaka and I were pregnant at the same time

An IG live video of Lerato Kganyago opening up about her fourth miscarriage has surfaced. It appears it was recording not so long ago. In the clip, the television presenter informs her fans that she was pregnant this year and she suffered a miscarriage.

“Yes, I had a miscarriage this year again. Yes, it was my fourth miscarriage. But I’m okay. I was three or four months pregnant and unfortunately, I lost my baba. This is something that I didn’t want to discuss but since we’re having an honest night. Yes, I was pregnant this year.”

“I was looking forward to this pregnancy and I thought this time around I had made it through because I’ve been trying so hard for a while. I thought this time around I had made it through because I had been trying so hard for a while.”

“It was so funny because Dineo and I were pregnant at the same time. And this is when we were still doing the bridge, so we were so excited that we were pregnant at the same time because she was just a few weeks ahead of me and I was like, OMG we’re probably going to give birth at the same time.” She shared.

“It was like a great time when I was on The Bridge. I remember Naked used to say – yho, we are dealing with pregnant women. Dineo made it through and I didn’t. But I know that everything happens for a reason.”

She also said that she was hopeful this time around and explained why she is sometimes aggressive when people are insensitive towards her.

“But this time around I won’t lie, I was hopeful. That’s why I become really aggressive when people are insensitive towards me because it’s like, people don’t know what you go through silently. Because a lot of us go through so many battles silently because we don’t want to make it other people’s problems. So there you have it.”

LKG and Dineo had planned to keep their pregnancies private. “Dineo and I were carrying at the same time and we were so excited. We were going to keep our pregnancies private and Dineo got her baby and I couldn’t but it’s alright.”

She also added that she is okay and a surrogate could be an option in the future. “But I’m good. Please don’t get me emo. I feel like I’ve been through this like so many times that… I think saying that you’ve become immune to it’s almost like you’re waiting for the right time.

I’m just going to look for my surrogate. I feel like I’ve tried for the last time. That was it, I don’t want to go through that pain again. “

LERATO KGANYAGO: I AM NOT AFRAID OF JUB JUB

Jub Jub and Lerato Kganyago got into a heated exchange after Jub Jub slammed people who judge the looters saying they come from a point of privilege. He also came for celebrities who are not saying anything positive about the situation, instead they bash and drag the looters.

Lerato and Jub Jub almost share the same sentiments about the entire situation but Lerato argued that a few celebrities are speaking out, as Jub Jub said they were not.

That is when Jub Jub clapped back at Lerato and in the lengthy response threatened to expose her dirty laundry. The Metro FM DJ does not understand where Jub Jub’s anger comes from because all she said was that artists are speaking out. She also told him to get his facts straight by not generalising, which ticked him off.

“I didn’t even say anything wrong. I just mentioned that some artists are speaking. He must khipa my files I’m ready lenna. Trying to give people an impression about me,” she commented on IG.

On Twitter Lerato was left fuming after Jub Jub’s response and she told him to come for her, she is ready. Lerato also urged the Uyajola 9/9 host to try digging up her dirty laundry but he will not find anything. She also reiterated that she is not scared of Jub Jub and that he should reveal her dirty laundry she is patiently waiting.

Lerato also engaged in a back and forth with Tweeps taking Jub Jub‘s side saying she did not say anything offside, she only mentioned that the real looting started years back with government officials.

She also defended her philanthropic ways after they were questioned by tweeps. Lerato together with her company Flutter by LKG donate free sanitary pads to young disadvantaged girls and also adds toiletries as well as basic food. She responded to a tweep who said Lerato does not care about her followers, “Please go do research about what I do from MY OWN POCKET, EVERY MONTH, with young girls from poor backgrounds! No funding whatsoever! GOD BLESS.”

Lerato also feels Jub Jub is coming after her because she is a woman. “Think I’m an easier target because I’m a woman! FOH! His comes from something else that he must address. But try to push a narrative about my reputation like he knows me, nah that I won’t sit down and be silent about!”

LERATO KGANYAGO SLAMS PEOPLE WHO ENJOY BEING THE FIRST TO ANNOUNCE SOMEONE’S DEATH

Lerato Kganyago thinks that its bizarre that a few people appreciate being quick to break the information on somebody’s demise.

South Africa’s media outlet has had a consecutive record of individuals biting the dust inside the previous multi week, and this record is practically like how individuals passed on in 2020.

LKG by implication hauled somebody who more likely than not broke the information on somebody’s passing before the individual’s family did.

The DJ didn’t specify names as she summed up the message.

Lerato urges individuals to sit tight for the group of the perished to break the news before they do.

“A few group flourish with being the first ones to declare somebody’s demise via web-based media. Nothing amiss with trusting that the family will deliver an assertion. Ke Botho,” she tweeted.

LERATO KGANYAGO’S HUBBY, THAMI NDLALA IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW

Lerato Kganyago’s husband, Thami Ndlala, and a friend have found themselves on the wrong side of the law.

The two are accused of buying two luxury vehicles using fraudulent documents.

The vehicles in question are a 2008 Range Rover TD V8 and a BMW 320i.

According to police records seen by Daily Sun, Ndlala’s friend applied for motor vehicle finance for the Range Rover in 2012 and submitted payslips from the department of justice indicating he was a legal administration officer.

After the financing was approved, he received the Range Rover and gave it to Ndlala. A few months later he applied for financing again.

This time he claimed to be the department’s director. He received financing for the BMW, which he kept for himself.

Police records say the bank statements and payslips he used in both applications were falsified.

Both men have been charged with fraud and forgery.

Hawks spokeswoman Captain Ndivhuwo Mulamu confirmed the matter was being investigated.

“Two suspects positively linked to this case are expected to appear in court on 2 July. The first suspect, aged 32, was served with a summons in May,” she said.

When Ndlala was called for comment yesterday, he said he was eating breakfast and would speak to the SunTeam at about midday.

Several calls were made at the time he requested but he hung up and later calls went straight to voicemail.

Lerato Kganyago’s husband Thami Ndlala faces the hawks in court

Thami Ndlala, the husband of radio and TV personality Lerato Kganyago, is set to take a stand in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Pretoria this month in a case of extortion against a suspended Hawks official.

Ndlala opened the case against the official he accused of demanding R100 000.

The 39-year-old entrepreneur is set to give evidence to prove his innocence after he was accused of buying a Range Rover, allegedly using fraudulent documents.

Lumka Mahanjana, the National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, confirmed the court appearance but said she was not at liberty to divulge the details of the suspects.

The officer, who asked not to be named for fear of reprisals, said he was assigned the fraud case in 2013 by his superiors.

“I never demanded anything from him. I am pleased because I will get the opportunity to cross-examine him [in court],” he said.

The Durban-based officer said the case, which has been pending for almost seven years, had put a strain on his livelihood as he was unable to work.

“I am missing out on a lot of things. I am unable to apply for jobs within the SA Police Service while this matter remains unresolved.”

He said that he only discovered that there was a case of extortion against him after he arrested Ndlala. “I was told by my bosses in February 2014 that charges of corruption and extortion had been laid against me by Ndlala and I needed to hand myself over. ” This came as a shock. I realised that me and two other officers accused had been part of a so-called search and seizure operation of attempting to extort Ndlala of R100 000,” he said.

Lerato Kganyago quits DJing

Lerato Kganyago announces a temporary stop to her DJ career. Taking to social media, the radio personality announced that her doctor urged her to put pause on her DJing gigs, especially those out of Johannesburg for the next few weeks as she recuperate.

“Our bodies are not as resilient as we would like to wish they are. As importantly to let down those who support me is not a decision that I take lightly. However, I can no longer continue to ignore my doctor’s advice and have to put pause on my DJing gigs, especially those out of Jo’burg, for the next few weeks as I recuperate. I hope you can understand and I look forward to seeing many of you from behind the decks very soon,” she wrote.

Lerato recently secured a new show on Metro FM, alongside some other stars in the South African music industry and she’s super excited.
