From what we’ve learnt in the past, so much can happen on Twitter overnight. Rapper, Cassper Nyovest has been trending all morning after tweeting about boosting celebrity boxing in the continent. The rapper asked his followers who would make a good boxing match and a few popular names came up.

Celebrity boxing is sooo big in the states, I think we could make decent money in Africa with it too. It could also boost boxing on the continent. Who do you think would make a great boxing fight?

A tweep brought up Big Xhosa vs Emtee and Mufasa said they must not disrespect Emtee as Big Xhosa is not a celeb. Big Xhosa caught feelings and told the rapper that he’d knock him out.

“Mfanaka , nkao Roba roba I won’t even lie to you. Don’t do this, I know you want clout Mara tswada. It’s not gonna end well.” Warned Nyovest and Xhosa told him not to mention his name at all.

“Ubindiwe wena Cassper! I was chilling minding my business and you said something about me and I responded, now I’m the one that wants clout? Bruh don’t even mention me at all, go back to blocking me wena Blockist.”

Turns out Cassper was serious about the fight and again asked the clout rapper if he’d like to get in the ring or not.

Responding to the offer to get in the ring, Xhosa claimed that he’d knock Cassper out in the first round and Cassper asked him to set the date.

Cassper Nyovest and son serves father-son goals

Cassper Nyovest took to his social media to share an adorable photo of himself with his son, Khotso. The star is giving his son a better upbringing than he received and many of his fans are proud of him.

Recently, baby Khotso was seen rocking the rapper’s expensive diamond neck jewelry. Well, it looks like Caspper can’t get enough of his son as he shared a picture of himself holding him close to his Shoulder.

Cassper Nyovest Exposed For Being A Thief

Cassper Nyovest transitioning from Hip Hop to Amapiano is probably one of the best career moves in his part. But being a popular name in the music industry as a whole does not warrant theft from other up and coming artists, now does it?

The rapper turned Amapiano hit sensation released his highly anticipated Amapiano track called Angisho Guys, last week Friday, the 30th of April. As much as his fans appreciated the song and danced to it over the weekend, some could not help but realise a few similarities between his song and popular Amapiano artist Mpura.

Well besides the fact that Mpura’s song is also tilted ‘Angisho Guys’, the chorus too apparently sounds familiar. Mpura released his version of the song in March then a month later, Cassper does so too.

Many concluded that Cassper actually stole the song because Mpura released it first, however Amapiano vocalist and DJ, Lady Du cleared the air.

She claims that the song originally belongs to Cassper and that Mpura is the one who stole it. Lady Du is not defending Cassper because she is a featured artist, but because she wants to stand for what is right, and that is the truth.

Commenting on one of the tweets slamming Cass, she said it was Cassper’s song to begin with. “He took a song out of the original studio. That’s wrong JR, that’s why it didn’t go anywhere!!! You can steal the plan but not the vision,” she explained.
Lady Du, who is the powerful voice behind Umsebenzi Wethu, said she is not standing up for Cassper, neither is she taking his side, she simply wants to expose the truth.

The plot twist here is that Lady Du, is actually good friends with Mpura and she said she does not mind if she loses him as a friend just because she stood up for Cassper when the whole timeline turned their backs on him.

“I’ll never ever choose loyalty over honesty, I CANT STAND LIES!! If I lose a friend over honesty that’s fine. Lies need 10 other stories and I don’t have that time Mina. Aniyekeni ukubullshita amafans wenu, (stop playing your fans) stappppppp it,” she said in a separate Tweet.

Not paying his attention on the whole theft saga, Cassper boasted about the success of the song and thanked Lady Du for her contribution. “#AngishoGuys is the No 1 most played song in the country!!!! And all because of @Ladydu10 !!! Thank you!!!”

Ofcourse the big question now is why did they keep quiet about these heft claims when Moura released his song. For some people, this was a deliberate attempt to create hype about the song.

But Lady Du is focused on growing her career and not focus on Twitter beefs. “From me to you Twitter wars are not my thing. Thank you to Reece and zuma for actually giving me the advise. Hip Hop radio DJ Rashid Kay reduted Cass’s claims of gatekeeping in the industry saying it is a myth. “Please don’t use the excuse “Hip Hop has too much politics” if you wanna switch lanes. Mention the year or the era when Hip Hop had no politics. I’ll wait…” he wrote, adding, “Gatekeeping in SA Hip Hop is a myth. 90% of radio compilers are House DJs. Anything else you can do for self: music, merch, events…”

Cassper Nyovest is keen to becoming the first hip hop billionaire in South Africa, and he’s made another move with the popular beauty influencer, Mihlali Ndamase.

The rapper was seen applying some make up products on the influencer’s face in videos shared on their Instagram stories.

However, while one might want to assume that the rapper wants to go into beauty business to secure more bags, it can be also assumed that the whole gig with Mihlali is for her YouTube show.

Cassper Nyovest’s son gets baptised at family church

Cassper Nyovest reveals taking his son, Khotso for baptisim at his family church. In a video shared, the church choir were seen rendering a solemn song while the baby gets baptised.

The rapper wowed fans by saying his father is part of the choristers.

“My Son is getting baptised today at our family church. Such a beautiful feeling. My father is part of the Church choir by the way. Today he is singing for his grandson,” Cass captioned post.

There was a Christening party held for Khotso at the rapper’s house. It was a big family reunion.

One of Cassper’s uncle was seen showing off some dance moves, and Mufasa claimed he took the dance skill from him.

Cassper Nyovest and Boity are former lovers who have same goals of becoming a billionaire. The two are exes but have few things in common – They are rappers with similar heights and love securing the bags.
