Ayanda Ncwane wins a long-anticipated award at the 2022 MTN Caller-Tunez Awards. The 40-year-old won award for the Outstanding Sales Achievement. The businesswoman who manages Ncwane communication recounts how DJ Cleo inspired her by consistently winning the Best-Selling award.

“A few months ago while I was off social media. I had the honor of receiving one of the important awards in the Music industry….. A short story: In 2010 while I was watching the @thesamas_ I got fired up by one man @djcleo1 who consecutively scooped the award for BEST SELLING, and I said to myself, now that the award I NEED in my record label,” she wrote.

“I literally called him and asked for a meeting and he took out 1 hour of his time to teach me how to master the system and play the game of numbers in music, and later I went for a short course with one of the GURUS in the industry and a years later we have been enjoying the grace of leading in selling music. We now work with musicians from all over Africa by God’s grace,” she added.

Ayanda Ncwane’s new spiritual journey is being mocked by social media users. In June, the reality TV star announced being a Christian and she made it evident by starting a YouTube channel where she dishes out sermons to people who are interested. Weeks after posting some of her sermons on the streaming platform, some social media users poked fun at her and called her weird.

In the videos, Ayanda is seen speaking in tongues and confidently motivating viewers via scriptures from the bible.

A Twitter user named Bonginkosi claimed being stressed out by the businesswoman; people requested to know why and videos of the star’s sermon flooded the comment.

Ayanda Ncwane reveals she died in hospital

South African TV personality and businesswoman, Ayanda Ncwane allegedly died and later came back to life.

Ayanda revealed the shocking news in a video clip.

In the video clip, she said she was admitted to the hospital when she experienced spiritual attacks.

“It was 2am, and I had an encounter in the spirit realm.

“A very large being, huge like a giant came over towards my bed. It pressed me, and after that, it whispered in my ears.

“It said, ‘We came to collect your soul, you’re dying today’. I cannot really explain how I felt, but I saw myself standing next to myself,” she said.

“The first picture was my youngest son, then my elder son. It went so fast. I saw my life literally everything in seconds. The spirits kept on speaking. They said they came to fetch me. That I’m dying today. That is when I turned around and saw two nurses talking to each other and looking at my body.”

Ayanda said at that moment, she realized that she had two bodies.

“I rebuked the spirit, but it was so strong for me. It kept on pulling me back towards the door, and I kept thinking, ‘My God, I’m dying’. But I didn’t want to surrender. Something in me kept on fighting. I refused to leave my children,” she said.

Ayanda said when the spirit was about to take her spiritual body out of the hospital door, she heard a voice calling her name.

She said the voice told her that her assignment on Earth had not yet been done or started.

“The voice brought me back to life to fulfil God’s mandate,” said Ayanda.

“The nurses were shocked. They said, ‘Ayanda you’re not dead’.

“The first words that I said to God were, ‘I heard you Father, you’ve been speaking to me. Thank you for giving me the last chance’.

“Telling my children that mommy died and came back was the most difficult part. They never understood,” Ayanda said.

She said that from now she’d preach the Word of God and pray for the sick.

Pastor Songezo Joseph Fulani said such instances were common.

“I know a few people who experienced this. It’s difficult to say if she died or if it was just a dream or a near-death experience because there’s no proof.

“But I also know that God can make miracles and bring a person to life after death. But some fake pastors pretend,” Fulani said.

When the publication called Ayanda for comment, she didn’t answer her phone and text messages.

Ayanda Ncwane Says She Accepts Her Calling

Ayanda Ncwane was first introduced to the world as the wife of the late gospel legend Sfiso Ncwane. However, more recently, she is better known as the beloved reality star from the first season of the hit Showmax reality show The Real Housewives of Durban.

However, following her contentious season which saw her being cast alongside Sfiso’s alleged “other woman” Nonku Williams, and all the drama that ensued, Ayanda did not return on the second or most recent third season.

Since then, which was back in April 2023, she had not shared any other posts. This was until she returned to social media and shared while very tearful sharing how her life is taking a different direction. In her Instagram post, she alludes to having to accept her calling.

However, this is not to be mistaken with a traditional healing calling. Instead, this was a calling to “serve” God and the purpose He has imparted within her.
In the video in question, Ayanda explains her near-death experience in April 2023, when she was called by God to accept her calling or die.

She explains that has been aware of said calling for years. But she had never accepted it until it was that or death.

Ayanda Ncwane in trouble with SARS over R2 million

It is believed Sifiso Ncwane’s widow Ayanda, who took over his record label Ncwane Communications owes the SA Revenue Service (SARS) over R2 million.

The former Real Housewives of Durban reality TV star Ayanda Ncwane, who took over Sifiso’s record label has reportedly been struggling to keep his business afloat, as Ncwane Communications has been owing SARS R2 million since 2020, according to City Press.

“It is also understood that despite numerous reminders to her of the debt, the bill was never settled.”

The publication adds that she removed herself from the sole directorship of the company in March 2021 and added her younger brother Phupho Nkosiyazi Gumede, as its sole director instead.

The businesswoman remains CEO of the company and also renders services such as events coordination, public relations, and marketing.

SARS reportedly gave her 10 business days in April 2022 to settle the R2 181 060 amount.

“According to the records of the SA Revenue Service, you have failed to pay your tax debt for one or more tax years and/or tax periods. You are requested to make full payment within 10 business days from the date of this letter of demand”, read the letter.

“You may within 10 business days from the date of this letter of apply for any of the following remedies … compromise of a portion of the tax, where this will provide a higher return to the fiscus than liquidation, sequestration, or other collection measures,” the letter from the receiver read.

According to City Press, Sifisi Ncwane’s company Ncwane Communications, which reportedly owes SARS over R2 million and where Ayanda is allegedly still CEO is in the process of deregistration from CIPC records.

Ayanda’s brother Phupho Nkosiyazi Gumede is known in the entertainment industry as her stylist and was crowned the Africa Choice Awards fashion stylist of the year in 2021.

Gumede was allegedly also responsible for styling cast members of Netflix’s reality TV show Young, Famous and African.

Ayanda is reportedly living in Dainfern, northern Johannesburg, and owns a Range Rover Sport, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Ferrari.

Ayanda Ncwane was not available for comment when she was contacted.
