Former Generations actress Letoya Makhene‘s father, legendary musician Blondie Makhene feels betrayed and disappointed by his daughter’s ex-partner.

This after the former Generations actress was accused of being a fake gobela (traditional healer) by one of her initiates who roped in Moja Love’s show to confront Letoya on TV.

On the show, Letoya tried to contain herself but ended up snapping at Kabelo for being used by her ex-partner Lebo Keswa to humiliate her on TV.

The couple tied the knot in a stunning traditional ceremony in December 2020. A few months ago they allegedly decided to part ways, and recently they’ve been hanging out their dirty laundry in the media.

The publication contacted Letoya’s father Blondie on the back and forth between his daughter and Lebo Keswa.

“Ingifuna Indlule Iphele Lento [I’d like this thing to get resolved], because this child who is ruining Letoya’s name is my child, she married Letoya traditionally and I accepted her as my child, but now she’s ruining the family name which she married into.

Well-known South African actress and singer Letoya Makhene says she feels abused by her estranged wife, businesswoman Lebo Keswa, speaking to the media about their failed marriage.

This after Lebo spoke to various publications including the publication regarding what led to their separation after announcing their split in June.

Through her publicist, Letoya said she had shifted her focus to her family and was unfazed by Lebo telling her side of the story.

“The reason most women stay in abusive relationships is due to the fear of being further victimised. Many lose their lives. Lebo is using the media to continue her abuse. She has been going around to all the media houses in South Africa, and she can continue for as long as she likes. I chose to end our marriage, and my only focus right now is my music and my family.”

Lebo, however, says she only wants to close the chapter of their failed marriage and labels Letoya a pathological liar.

The publication is in possession of the letter Lebo sent to Letoya’s family on dissolving her marriage in February this year and Letoya’s response in April.

The letter from Lebo reads:

This letter serves to inform you that I am dissolving my marriage to your daughter Letoya Makhene for the following reasons:

– When I married Letoya the family made me pay lobola for Letoya, her mother, her children and her dlozis only to find out in the marriage that Letoya has not completed her initiation and this has compromised me financially as I have been subjected to numerous encounters in paying for her to finish her initiation. Letoya and the family were not truthful to my family.

– Letoya Makhene cheated on me on two occasions with a Nigerian man, sleeping with him in exchange for drugs.

– Two weeks after Letoya cheated with the married man, I told her to leave my house and she came to your home in Tladi, only for her to again cheat with a lesbian woman from your area.

– I have been physically assaulted by Letoya on three occasions, even burning me with hot water in the process, and the only family consulted with was her father, Blondie Makhene, who asked for forgiveness on her behalf. At the time I stupidly forgave her and did not take any legal steps outside filing reports with the law.

– Letoya has destroyed both the homes we’ve lived in. Breaking windows and burning curtains at my grandmother’s home and breaking furniture at our home.

– Letoya Makhene refusing to go to mental institution after a qualified medical practitioner instructed her to go to a mental institution to seek professional help and diagnosing her with alcoholism.

– For the financial mess Letoya has left me in regarding her dlozi work and her past life. From her 1.4-million-rand home debt to her children’s school fees and attorneys.

Actress Letoya Makhene failing to move on amid separation from her estranged wife

Well-known South African actress, sangoma, and singer Letoya Makhene has seemingly referred to her estranged wife, Lebohang Pulumo Keswa, as her perpetrator.

The former Generations: The Legacy actress was speaking at the exclusive listening session for her new single, Abantu, when she opened about healing through music – Sunday World reports.

Explaining how her relationship with her new record label, Ntethe Global Effect, came about, Letoya said: “Our journey almost didn’t begin because of this dark place that I was in at the time, but Ntethe Global Effect and Masechaba Media have kind of been by my side and soothing me through one of the deepest processes in my life, and the healing has been through music.”

The record label is founded by musician Ntethelelo Mposwa, also known as Ntethe. She said she was introduced to the music company by news anchor Masechaba Khumalo, who is her friend and publicist.

In addition, Letoya touched on her healing process, alleging that Lebohang has been making it difficult for her to move on. However, the actress avoided mentioning names.

“It’s unfortunate that is the hole I am in. My perpetrator feels like they are not going to stop. It makes complete healing so difficult.

“I never expected healing to be so difficult. Healing is a process; others take years. I cannot say I am there yet.”

Taking to her Instagram timeline recently the seasoned actress shared a snap of her wife appreciating how she loves her for who she is.

“One thing I love, admire and adore about you is your work ethic. You prepare everything well on time. You do not procrastinate, you get things done now. Your turnaround time is out of this world. The pair’s marriage has had its fair share of bad publicity, marred by abuse allegations.

Letoya recently denied reports that Lebo was abusive.

This after Sunday World reported there was trouble in paradise.

“In the past month I was in two movies. One that made Top 1 in South Africa and Top 5 in US movies. I’m currently working on an international project, I’m an adviser in an upcoming series, I’m currently shooting in a Telenovela, and all while I’m preparing for my upcoming concert and raising initiates. With all this, I’ve been approached by film companies for two series and a soapy. My House of HOK blanket range is doing very well. The LM Foundation has donated 300 blankets in the past two months, had soup kitchens and food parcel drives and all this was done by my wife and I.

“Instead of being celebrated and getting good publicity for all this, Women’s Month is the time that someone chooses to try bring down and drag two women who are hardworking, driven and self-motivated. Only you won’t win this one,” she wrote.

Actress Letoya Makhene’s wife, Lebo Keswa arrested

A popular Instagram page by Maphepha Ndaba alleged that Letoya Makhene’s wife, Lebo Keswa, was arrested for allegedly vandalizing a bakery and damaging furniture while hurling insults at people. As the saying goes, there is always two sides to every story and it appears that the real reason for her arrest has been revealed by a local publication

Social media was having a field day with this report by the gossip page which claimed to have received a DM by a Facebook user who was present during the incident. The said user alleged that “vandalises everything to no repair when angry. News came in fast on Facebook with proof that Lebo has no mercy and no one is safe when she’s angry. She roars like a lion admin , we are scared of her, says anonymous on the DM. She was arrested, but we fear she might be out and moer all of us Admin , says a Shebeen Queen who’s also fearful for her life,” read the post.

A local publication now reports that Lebo was actually defending her wife Letoya who was allegedly s.e.xually harassed by a foreign national.

The Generations: The Legacy actress was allegedly offered to engage in some “orgy activities” with a businesswoman who owns a bakery in Midrand. When she turned the weird offer down, the businesswoman then brought in a foreign national, who proceeded to allegedly s.e.xual harass her.

According to the paper, the man did so because he told Letoya to stop dating women. This angered Lebo who confronted the man, but it did not end very good for Lebo who got arrested.

The plot twist is that, the businesswoman opened a case against Lebo at the Midrand Police station, claiming to have had her bakery ‘maliciously damaged’ without provoking Lebo.

Lebo, who has also allegedly opened a case against the woman and foreign national, appeared at the Midrand Magistrate’s Court and got released today.

A few months back they got stalked and robbed by unidentified people and they went off the radar for a while.

They were accused of being broke but Letoya rubbished those claims, “My wife and I wine and dine about three times a week. Now explain to me how we can be broke if we can afford to go out so much. We can send you our bank balance and it’s quite healthy.”

“There’s a guy who has been stalking us for a while and he’s the first person who posted about this (R2000 bill left unpaid thing) on his Facebook. My wife and I wine and dine about three times a week and we have our usual places we go to. We were made aware of the Facebook post by this guy which we believe was where the rumour started that we didn’t pay the bill, which was about three weeks ago,” stated Lebo.

Letoya Makhene has taken to her social media to announce that her Facebook account has been hacked. The star made this known few hours ago as she warns her fans and followers to be careful.

Letoya has 1.3million followers and has immediately made it known to avoid becoming a victim. According to her, she listed last on Friday and she woke up to find out that the account is no longer in her control.

Letoya stated that she and her team have been removed and are posting porn.

She calls on her followers to report the account.

I last posted on Friday and I woke up to find that I no longer have control of my page and that my team and I have been removed!!!

Actress Letoya Makhene thanks wife Lebo for helping her through her spiritual journey

The love life of actress Letoya Makhene-Pulumo and her wife businesswoman Lebo Pulumo-Makhene reads like a novel. They have been joined at the hip ever since they laid eyes on each other, doing everything they do together.

It’s no surprise that Letoya is so smitten she took to Instagram to thank her wife for her never-ending support in her spiritual journey of healing/Ubungoma.

“How my spiritual journey has just blossomed with you in my life, my Love. Ngibonga intlonipho yakho”

The newlyweds do everything together when it comes to Letoya’s journey. On occasion her wife has also been seen donning traditional clothes and going with her to herbal shops.

The actress embraced her gift of healing at the age of 18, in 2002. She graduated as a fully qualified and practising sangoma in 2003 and has been running her private practice since.

Letoya has previously shared some of the challenges she has faced since accepting her calling.

“People have chosen to judge me because I have chosen to live my life my way. People who have absolutely no understanding of even their own journey and where it is taking them have chosen to play God and point fingers at me. Well, I have chosen to follow my heart and sometimes I have made bad choices. But in everything that I’ve done, I’ve always been true to myself. I’ve always lived in my truth.

Letoya is not the only one in the family with an ancestral calling. Her father Dr Blondie Makhene is also a healer. In a separate post, the actress is elated that she as Umkhilu Butinyana gets to share her journey and jam with her father Umkhulu Phillip.

“I literally sometimes wake up and pinch myself that I get to just jam with you like whenever.”

“He’s my brother in Spirit, but he is still my Daddy,” she wrote.
