Rami Chuene has spoken on her wedding dress saga that had the streets convinced she had tied the knot. Fans were adamant she was off the market when a series of snaps of her in a wedding dress went viral last month. It didn’t help that sis posted the cryptic message: “I also attended a wedding this past long weekend …” and then refused to clarify what it all meant.

And Dineo Langa stirred the pot further, writing: “This was truly a beautiful union to witness. I’m so so happy for you, ‘The Lamz’. You looked breathtaking, Rami. Rami took to Instagram on Thursday revealing that she was going to play a bride in a brand new SABC2 show Giyani.

“Well, in my defence, I never said…” she wrote, along with a hiding emoji. Thank you to all my family and friends for playing along. You were all amazing. Your time, your NDA responses and the vibe you caused went beyond my expectations. My poor parents fielded calls from very upset relatives!” she wrote.

Rami went on to add that if she were to consider walking down the aisle one day, she would prefer not to make mention of it.
Should I one day wake up and decide to get married again, I won’t tell you. The well wishes I received will last me for five lifetimes. Thank you and I appreciate you all.

Reality TV star MaMkhize gives tips on making it in business

Businesswoman and reality TV star Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize has over two decades experience in the property business, a male-dominated industry she figures would have some shaking in their boots or not take up the challenge at all.

In a sit-down with media personality LootLove on the Mzansi Magic Music channel special, MaMkhize opened up about some of the challenges she’s encountered. Among other things the businesswoman said she learnt very quickly was that she needed to do her own research about property.

“I think you must learn a strategy, number one, if you are coming into a male-dominated industry. You must learn that whatever you are in you must know it better than they do. You know us as women, if we learn something we always do it better than men.”

MaMkhize’s life was thrust into the public with her never-ending squabbles with the tax man. The reality show Kwa MaMkhize where she let Mzansi into her home each time the episode aired was to remedy the bad rep she was slowly getting.

“My life was invaded before I could even give permission for it to be invaded but what has happened they invaded it and created a perception, and people thought the perception was true.

“I’m a strategist by nature, and me stepping into the media was to change the perception into reality. I know they’ve invaded my privacy before, I gave them permission, I sat down and I said OK, how can I make this thing work for me? So I’ve changed the perception into reality. I think most people know MaMkhize for who she is now and not MaMkhize the tax problem and so forth.”

“Dear brown skin girl,

“Remember that your sparkle is your everyday gift to the world. Never give them a chance to dim your light, keep shining and being a constant reminder that black is beautiful! Black is power! Black is excellence and black is magic!”

Shauwn is also big on family and always takes time to appreciate them on her TL.

She took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with her son Andile, and gushed over how amazing her family was.

“God forever remains the head of my house and of this family. My family is the only constant thing I have in my life. I started this journey with them and I will end it with them.

“Oh, how I love my family. Business, it comes and goes, there are highs and lows, but I will forever be grateful for what it has done in our lives,” she wrote.

Somizi Mhlongo has been in the limelight for quite some time now and has been accused of so many things too. Especially after the audio of his ex-husband, Mohale Motaung got leaked. He was also accused of being a lover of ‘gangbangs’ allegedly, being a lover to Vusi Nova, and being violent to his ex-husband allegedly.

But out of all those things we are sure of only a few that he swears that he has never done or been a part of, and that is drugs and missing a flight.

Somizi Mhlongo took to Instagram to share with his followers and ask them a question as well. He posted a video explaining that he was chatting with a friend and a friend said to him that he was going to miss his flight. However, Somizi Mhlongo went further to share that there are two things he is very proud to share with the world, and it is that he is never been late for a flight in life, and he has never done drugs.
He then went on to ask his fans and followers on Instagram, to also share the two things that they can proudly say they have never done. However, in the comments section, one fan decided to taste the waters and ask him when will he be returning to Idols SA.

MUSIC boss Oskido graced Idols SA with his presence and left them with good news.

Oskido was Sunday’s guest judge for the Mzansi Magic singing competition.

He announced the Top 5, which will be announced on Sunday, will all walk away with a recording deal from his label, Kalawa Jazmee.

Idols SA is drawing to an end as the Top 6 contestants each sang two songs.

The theme for performances in the first half of the show was Oskido’s playlist.

The theme for the second half of the show was the song book of Swedish record producer, Max Martin.

Berry left Unathi in tears with her performance of Amanda Black’s Power, while Randall said her performance was inspired from the beginning and Oskido called it a killer performance. She continued to impress the judges in the second half of the show, with Katy Perry’s Dark Horse.

Kevin’s first performance of Sun-El Musician’s Ubomi Abumanga impressed Randall, who said he saw him in the final. Unathi called him a producer’s dream after he wowed her with Bon Jovi’s It’s my Life.

Unathi declared Daylin Sass the top performer of the week after asking him to record his rendition of Lira’s Something Inside So Strong and praising his second performance of Zayne’s Pillow Talk.

Nqobie had the biggest reaction from the judges after her performance of Zonke’s Feelings. Oskido promised her a song that would be written by Zonke, herself. She sang Pink’s Don’t Leave Me in the second half.

Oskido was ready to record a cover of Mafikizolo’s Ngeke Balunge, which was performed by Karabo. Even though Randall was not convinced she had delivered a great performance, she surprised people by adding some vernac to her rendition of Pink’s Perfect in the second half.

S22’Kile also struggled to impress the judges. She sang Ntyilo Ntyilo by Master KG featuring Rethabile Khumalo and then delivered a sassy version of Adele’s Send My Love.

Unfortunately, Sia Mzizi was eliminated and commenting on his exit, Randall said Sia struggled to remain consistent.

“ This is why at this stage of the competition I keep on stressing the fact that the remaining contestants can’t afford to be complacent,” he said. The voting lines are open.

Shauwn Mkhize puts up an offer to buy govt entity, Eskom

Reality show star, Shauwn Mkhize has apparently put up an offer to buy Eskom. This was mentioned by someone on social media and has not to be said nor confirmed by herself or any other person of that caliber. As much as this may be true or false, because it is still unconfirmed, the chances of her buying the entity were discussed by some people on social media. And, this is what they had to say.

To further discuss the possibilities of this, the Eskom website confirms that the largest shareholder of the entity is the South African government. It is actually one hundred percent (100%) state-owned.

To sum up, the chances of MamKhize buying the entity would be too small and may bring about huge economical and political changes to South Africa. Simply because it is represented by a public servant (minister). This is the Minister of Public Enterprises.

Media Personality Tbo Touch Exposes MacG’s Podcast And Chill

Media personality Tbo Touch is not entirely happy with the outcomes of his interview with Mac G and Sol. He was the latest guest on Podcast and Chill with Mac G.

Tbo Touch revealed that his interview was censored and edited. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “My interview on #PodcastandChillWithMacG was censored and edited. I guess the Tbo Touch story will always be distorted. I will tell the rest of the story when the time is right! Big S/O to Mac & Sol for the recovery.”

Sports broadcaster Robert Marawa also shared that his interview was “viewed and rejected to be flighted by the almighty Channel O”

When Channel O announced that Podcast And Chill was joining its family, the channel promised viewers honest and raw conversations.

“No topic is off-limits, from the deeply personal (battling illness, life in prison, childhood traumas), to fame, politics, and navigating media scandals. The conversations are so honest and raw that the viewer sometimes feels as though they are eavesdropping on private chats between close friends, a sign of interviewing done right,” read the channel’s press release.

Podcast And Chill Network released a statement yesterday stating that Tbo Touch’s episode has fallen victim to memory card data corruption.

“…and as a result, some parts of the interview have been irretrievably lost. We exhausted all the efforts to recover as much of the data as possible with no success.

“This is now way an act of sabotage nor is it an effort to censor (mute) the remarks and/or statement made by our interviewee but rather regrettably the result of unforeseen technical glitch beyond our control.”

The episode has been trending since its premiere on YouTube yesterday. Tbo Touch spoke about a number of things including his American accent, Metro FM experiences, and his life in the states.

Speaking about his accent, he said his high school experiences forced him to adjust his accent.

“Do you know how difficult it is when you are in high school and all your friends are like ‘what are you saying?’ All of your friends in high school and I’m not talking about university, high school. And then they would ask each other, ‘what did he just say?”

…There’s this exhaustion that comes with time to say these guys don’t hear me…I’m going to try my best for them to hear me. Unfortunately, it became slightly permanent.”

He also revealed that the former SABC CEO Hlaudi Motshweneng suspended him because he couldn’t keep Floyd Mayweather in the studio after the interview for Hlaudi and his wife and kids to take pictures.

Pearl Thusi – I swear if the ANC wins elections again then we just have a deep rooted self hate as a nation

As Mzansi gears up for the local government elections on Monday, actress Pearl Thusi has weighed in on the ruling party and what a win for the ANC could mean for the country.

Millions are expected to vote for their local ward councillors and public representatives. There are 278 municipalities, comprising eight metros, 44 districts and 226 local municipalities.

Taking to social media, Pearl said if the ANC were to win the elections it would say a lot about the state of the country at the moment.

I swear if the ANC wins elections again then we just have a deep-rooted self-hate as a nation. We have to find another option,” she wrote.

Her comments sparked massive reaction online, with some slamming her and others agreeing.n Head of digital communications in the presidency, Athi Geleba, responded, saying the party would win the elections.

Pearl hit back, saying Athi may be right and threw shade at the ruling party’s track-record on service delivery.
You’re probably right, babe. Please ask them to be as proactive with responding to our tweets and corruption as they should be with service delivery.”

Pearl Thusi – I swear if the ANC wins elections again then we just have a deep rooted self hate as a nation

She said the government needed to acknowledge the plight of its citizens and stop disrespecting them.

“Imagine the head of digital communications of the presidency tweeting someone they don’t follow – if my tweet didn’t matter, why respond to something not directed at you?

“We all wish the ANC chose to do better. We don’t hate the ANC – we hate how they blatantly disrespect citizens,” she wrote

Pearl said she was personally conflicted on who to vote for and said every vote matters.

With everything I feel for our beloved ANC. I’d sooner be caught dead than vote for the DA. Still struggling to choose which option is best strategically. Yes – I vote strategically. Because even though my vote may look like it doesn’t make a difference – it’s my vote and it matters.”

Busisiwe Mkhwebane bashed for her tweet on the Tembisa 10 saga

Public protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane has found herself at the receiving end of a backlash for a tweet she posted on the “Tembisa 10” saga.

Late on Tuesday, she posted on her personal Twitter account: “#Tembisa10 #eskom #Loadshedding #Decuplets this country though, heads must roll. Strength to you Gosiame Sithole all is well”.

The tweet came in the wake of a press briefing by Independent Media earlier that day where chair Dr Iqbal Survé continued to stand by the widely discredited story published in June by Pretoria News, claiming Sithole had given birth to 10 babies.
Survé claimed, among others, that an internal investigation had confirmed the babies were indeed born, but that two had died and the other eight “trafficked”.

He claimed the investigation revealed a massive government cover-up and that government officials and private hospitals were involved in a wide-scale baby trafficking ring.

The claims were, however, not substantiated and the Gauteng government has announced plans to take legal action against Independent Media.

The private hospitals have also strongly denied the claims. By Thursday afternoon, Mkhwebane’s tweet had 660 likes and nearly 100 comments – many of which were critical in tone.

“I sincerely hope this is a parody account because if it is not… tweet is highly problematic. What would happen if this case lands at your desk for investigation?” tweeted @chillim01.

And legal expert advocate Paul Hoffman said on Thursday this was the problem. “According to the constitution, the public protector… is meant to conduct herself in a manner that is independent.

It therefore behoves her to avoid commenting on matters that may become the subject of a complaint,” he said.

Mkhwebane’s spokesperson, Oupa Segwale, on Thursday emphasized that “like all of us, she enjoys all the rights and freedoms enshrined in the Bill of Rights”.

“This includes the right to freedom of expression. Her being the public protector does not mean she waives these rights and freedoms. She tweeted in her personal capacity…”

He said their office has a Twitter account were official matters are communicated.

“As things stand, there is no complaint or investigation about load shedding or the so-called #Tembisa10. In the event a complaint is lodged, the office will investigate it in line with the provisions of the constitution, which refer to impartiality, independence and without fear, favour or prejudice…”
