Thokozani ‘L’vovo Derrango’ Ndlovu speaks about his health condition after suffering a stroke during a stage performance.

It was a rough 2022 for Derrango as he landed in the hospital months after surviving a car accident.

The South African musician said he’s not been eating and resting well, but the death of his friend, Mampintsha triggered him, as he heard of the news shortly before performing on stage.

“I performed but got the attack before my second last song. I couldn’t feel my left side and I asked them If I could rest for a bit.”

Speaking about his health, the singer said:

“I have high blood pressure and I have not been taking my medication the way I was supposed to.”

Lvovo plans to cater for himself and eat well.

“I know now not to rush to have too many gigs. I live better and take care of myself, especially with my condition. They gave me directions to avoid salty foods and a lot of meat. I was told which fruits to eat and what to avoid and obviously less alcohol.”

Thokozani spoke about his last visit to the late Gqom star.

“I went to go see him in the hospital on Thursday night. He was not okay, we believed that he would recover.”

“I speak to Danger every day. So, I spoke to him during the funeral. Mampintsha knows that I would have loved to be at his funeral. But due to my condition, I watched it from the hospital. But I will visit his grave after I have fully recovered.”

Musa Khawula fires shots at Jessica Nkosi & her husband, TK Dlamini

Mzansi’s controversial celebrity blogger and Youtube Musa Khawula, spared no mercy for former The Queen actress Jessica Nkosi, when he dragged her for filth.

Musa recently revamped his Youtube channel and it s slowly getting more recognition, The blogger shared his commentary on Jessica Nkosi and her baby daddy TK Dlamini’s wedding.

The lovebirds had their Umembeso, a traditional Zulu wedding ceremony on Friday, 23 December 2022. Musa did not mince his words when he dragged the couple.

Musa came for Jessica’s acting and said it is mediocre. “She is acting, the acting is mediocre and I am like baby please stop it. She also did Isibaya where she played Qondi, I don’t care about this girl’s career and then there is also TK shame, he acted on that underwhelming Uzalo. You people still watch Uzalo. I am judging you and my family I am like ” are you serious, are you still watching this nonsense,” TK had acted that thing but I don’t think he had booked another job unless it was like a Mzani Bioskop nton nton, but I don’t think he had booked a solid job after Uzalo.

According to Musa, Jessica looks old and does not look like she is in her early 30s. “Maybe I am the one who is wrong in the acrimony, but Jessica is giving me old vibes, she sees not look like she is in her early 30s, and she is giving me mama vibes, maybe I am the one who is wrong. TK should be with someone like me. Someone nice but he chose things one and this one looks so old.”

According to The South African, Jessica’s paternal was not aware that the actress was marrying TK. Apparently, the actress has distanced herself from the family. Various sources who spoke to the publication said the actress has cut them off and is no longer talking to them.

“We saw it coming that she would not inform us about her wedding. Her maternal family probably accepted the lobola. We haven’t heard from her since the family asked about their relationship. Jessica shares the same clan surname ‘Dlamini’ with TK and the family wasn’t happy about that. According to our tradition, you cannot marry someone that you share the same clan surname with. When they asked her about this, she distanced herself from everyone.” said the source

Another source revealed that previously Jessica dated Khaya Mthethwa, and the family was not happy with the relationship, as Khaya had apparently paid lobola to Nomzamo Mbatha.

“The two dated a while ago and she even introduced us to him during a funeral, but we were also not happy because at the time Khaya had just separated from Nomzamo Mbatha who was close to Jessica. We haven’t heard from her for more than two years now. Apparently, they paid lobola for her, but she doesn’t speak to us now,” added the source.

Another source lambasted Jessica for being cold towards them. “Ayanda is bitter, she was not like this before. She used to be a sweet girl who used to visit us when her father was still alive, but fame got into her head and she abandoned us,” added the source.

Tik Tok user who imitated Babes Wodumo‘s singing and dancing at Mampintsha’s memorial service held on Thursday has come under fire on social media.

This comes after a video of her reenacting the moment went viral on social media and it ruffled major feathers. On Thursday 23 December 2022, Babes Wodumo melted the hearts of many people. She honored her late husband by dancing to Big Nuz’s Song Of The Year Ngeke featuring DJ Yamza.

The self-proclaimed Gqom stood up with her son and danced to the song as the crowd gathered around her to capture the moment. No one saw it coming that social media users were about to recreate the moment and make it a viral challenge.

In the video, the unknown woman is seen wearing an all-black outfit while holding a doll with green paper on its head. Her cringe-worthy video has angered social media users who think she is insensitive and disrespecting Babes Wodumo who is currently mourning the untimely death of her husband.

At Mampintsha’s memorial service, DJ Tira advised Babes Wodumo to reclaim her throne as the Gqom queen. He revealed that Babes used to charge R100,000 per gig. “Babes must go back to the top of the charts. When she joined the music industry she was charging R100,000 per gig. You [Babes] should not be comfortable [with earning less] and you need to get out of your comfort zone if you want to go back to the top. You need to work hard and have a focus. Also, we still have Sponge [Babes’ child] to raise because Mampintsha is no longer with us. We as his friends, we will do anything for him [Mampintsha],” said DJ Tira.

Bishop Welcome Simelane, Babes Wodumo’s father, expressed that he was proud of his son-in-law, Mampintsha. “I thank him for leaving me behind a grandson, Sponge. Mampintsha played a huge role in Babes’ music career. I thank him for that because he supported and groomed my child to be a star she is today. She can now support herself financially because of Mampintsha. You hardly get men like that these days, men who would support their spouses the way Mampintsha did,” said Simelane.

Longwe Twala is reportedly back on the streets and on drugs

Longwe Twala, the son of legendary musician and producer Chicco Twala, is reportedly back on the streets and on drugs again after returning home from rehab.

According to Zimoja, a source revealed that his father is devastated but his brother — Twala Twala — is not shocked at all by this behaviour. The unnamed source revealed to the publication that Longwe is back on the streets as he is using drugs once again and Chicco has given up on him.

“Nobody knows what happened to him to ditch his home and go back to drugs. His family, especially his father Chicco is devasted,” said the source.

When asked about his brother, Twala Twala said: “We are not surprised, Longwe has been on drugs his entire life so there is nothing to comment on there.

Longwe, who has made headlines as one of the six people present the night Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was gunned down in October 2014, has been linked to drugs before. However, his father revealed in November 2022 that he was out of rehab.

Speaking to journalist Motso Modise outside the Pretoria High Court on 15 November 2022, Chicco said that the police had been struggling to find his son as he had been in rehab.

Chicco revealed that Longwe was out of rehab and was getting ready to take the witness stand.
Longwe’s name featured during the cross-examination of Meyiwa’s friend, Tumelo Madlala, in November last year during the murder trial.

Longwe Twala is reportedly back on the streets and on drugs

According to defence counsel for accused number one to four, Timothy Thobane, Madlala’s statement alleged that Longwe was the one who shot and killed Meyiwa.

The statement read: “I was for the first time to see Longwe Twala, and I did not tell anyone or the Meyiwa family that Senzo was killed by Longwe Twala because he did not have a firearm with him, instead he ran away [sic].”

However, when questioned about his statement, Madlala claimed that he did not write it but a police officer did. This despite having agreed before giving his response that indeed he signed and approved all his statements. According to Zimoja, another Senzo Meyiwa documentary is on the cards and it reportedly features musicians Kelly and Zandie Khumalo, their mother Ntombi Khumalo and Meyiwa’s friends, Mthokozisi Twala and Tumelo Madlala. Longwe will also feature in it.

The documentary, which is titled Senzo Meyiwa: The Second Docket, is produced and directed by Zakhele Shiba and Lucky Dumakude who revealed that Longwe was sober when they interviewed him.

They, however, did not want to comment on allegations he is back on drugs: “This is a personal matter and has nothing to do with the coming documentary.
