Zalebs Celebrate Africa Day 2021
Today, 25 May 2021 marks Africa Day which commemorates the foundation of the Organization of African Unity on 25 May 1963. Africa Day is celebrated across the continent as well as the rest of the world.
Rapper Reason shared snaps of himself dressed in traditional attire and quoted the ‘I’m an African Speech’ which was made by former president of South Africa Thabo Mbeki. It was delivered when in 1996 when the new constitution of South Africa was passed.
Mohale Motaung also took to social media to commemorate the day.
Reality television star and businesswoman Shawn Mamkhize reminded her followers to never forget who they are and where they come from.
“May we never forget who we are and where we come. May this key lesson be passed down for many generations to come. Even though our past and present may not be pretty but I remain hopeful that the future of Africa is bright. We are Africans!!!” Shared shared.
Former Miss South Africa and businesswoman Basetsana Kumalo also marked the special day.
