Police statistics reported that 42 289 rape cases were reported in 2019 and 2020, which is an alarming number.
Despite many campaigns to reduce this number, we continue to hear and read about these cases on a daily basis.
If you are the victim of a rape, or know of someone who has been a victim, report the attack at your nearest police station in order to get the medical and psychological assistance required.
