Two days ago, Zoleka revealed that she had started cancer treatment and said that she is battling to come to terms with the diagnosis.

“I wanted to thank you all, profusely for all your prayers and well wishes, for your generosity and kind deeds! I’m home and recovering from the side effects of my first session, to treat the cancer in my lungs, liver, ribs, spinal cord and hips. I’m battling to come to terms with my diagnosis, it’s both daunting and terrifying. Prayer for acceptance and peace that passes all understanding. Peace. Passion. Positivity,” she wrote.

Zoleka Mandela starts cancer treatment

Zoleka Mandela has revealed that she has started her first session to treat the cancer present in her lungs, liver, ribs, spinal cord, and hips. This is coming after the star revealed her cancer is back in her bones after surviving breast cancer.The star has inspired people with her story as a survivor, but she’s heartbroken and scared as it was revealed to her that she might not survive it this time around.

Taking to her Instagram on Thursday, Zoleka shared that she was struggling to come to terms with the diagnosis after more than 10 years of being cancer-free.

Zoleka Mandela’s worst fears have been confirmed after she received results of a cancer diagnosis

Zoleka Mandela has taken to her social media to update her fans about her health. This coming after the star revealed that cancer is back in her bones after surviving breast cancer. Zoleka has inspired people with her story as a survivor, but she’s heartbroken and scared as it was revealed to her that she might not survive it this time around.

The author recently underwent a computer tomography (CT) scan and a bone scan to determine if she has cancer in the remaining parts of her body, and her results are back.

In a post, Zoleka said yesterday marked her first cancer diagnosis. “Yesterday (29.08.2022) marked my official diagnosis, the CT scan has revealed cancer both in my liver and lungs. I am yet to receive feedback regarding my Bone scan, to establish whether I have cancer beyond my ribs. I am hanging on by a thread.

She also thanked all who have been praying for her recovery. “Thank you all for your outpouring of love, prayer and support. Peace. Passion. Positivity,” he wrote.

Zoleka Mandela celebrates 12 years of being sober

Zoleka Mandela takes to social media to announce that she will be celebrating her 12th year of being sober on the 11th of August, 2022. The socialite detailed how she began drinking at the age of 9, and smoked her first cigarette at the age of 13.

Had my last cigarette in 2012 and my first one at the age of 13. I had my first drink at the age of 9 and my last one and the last cocaine binge at the age of 30. I’m so excited about celebrating my 12th year of SOBRIETY on the 11th of August, I literally can’t wait!!!”

Zoleka Mandela on not being able to breastfeed her kids

South African writer, Zoleka Mandela has taken to her social media to open up about her struggles about giving birth after breast cancer.

The star recently welcomed her sixth child and her fans are happy for her.
However, the two-time breast cancer survivor said people have been asking her if she breastfeeds.

Zoleka was first diagnosed and beat cancer in 2012 but it returned in 2016 and then had a bilateral mastectomy.
Taking to Instagram, she opens up about being a mom after surviving breast cancer:

Zoleka wrote: “Beloved Queens, because a few of you have asked whether I breastfeed my newborn baby … I thought I would seize the opportunity to talk, “Giving birth after Breast Cancer,” very briefly. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer back in 2012 and had a Bilateral Mastectomy, removal of both breasts, all breast tissue and nipples – as a result, I am not able to produce breast milk or breast feeds, I’ve detailed my journey in my autobiography- When Hope Whispers.

“I have for the longest time now (since 2012) been threatening to have my final breast reconstruction surgery to have my Plastic Surgeon build me nipples and fix a few, “Imperfections,” in my current breasts to create more natural-looking ones. I thought I would also share a few images to make it make more sense. So, I eventually decided to have that long overdue surgery last year only to discover that I was pregnant with my 6th child and unable to go under the knife, so to speak.”

“Between you and me, living without nipples for the past 10yrs has honestly been the least of my worries, although at first I was devastated at not being able to breastfeed my other 4 children as I did my 1st and 2nd born for 2yrs each. Over the years and having my 4th child after my 1st diagnosis in 2012 as well as my 5th and 6th after my 2nd diagnosis in 2016, I have learnt that I couldn’t have been further from the truth … Not being able to breastfeed does not make me less of a mother nor does it change the bond I have with the children I haven’t gotten the chance to breastfeed”

Mother of 6: Meet Zoleka Mandela’s new born baby

Author and activist Zoleka Mandela, recently gave birth to a bouncing baby girl named Zingce Zobuhle Mandela, and she is on cloud nine.

Zoleka is one of Mzansi’s most adored authors and she is not afraid to share details of her private life on social media. She had been documenting her pregnancy on social media, until she welcomed her bundle of joy.

Social media users have been yearning for pictures of Zingce, and she’s finally giving the people what they want.

Recently, she shared an image collage of a before and after pregnancy on her Instagram account, giving her followers a glimpse of her baby girl. The picture collage shows her in the maternity ward giving birth to her daughter, and giving fans a first look at her after she is born.

She expressed gratitude to her medical team for the successful delivery and her obstetrician-gynecologist for giving her permission to document her delivery.

“A prayer and shout out to the best medical team, I could have ever asked for from my Paediatrician and all the nurses in the Neonatal ICU who looked after my baby and hospital staff! Biggest hugs to my OBGYN who allowed me to film the entire birth and my Anesthesiologist for helping me set up my tripod and camera (aka my birthing partner) for filming the birth and for capturing the most amazing images of when Zingce was yanked out of my womb!!! Zobuhle Jnr, we did it, baby!!! Awusemhle!!! Look how happy she makes me, the smile on my face as I was being cut open … I couldn’t wait,” she wrote.

She also showed us her post-partum body and it seems she has no pressure to go back to her pre-baby weight. It is no secret that nine months of carrying a baby can take an incredible amount of toll on your body, Zokela reckons.

“Women may feel internal or external pressure to get their bodies back after pregnancy as though their bodies were lost. Women still have a body after pregnancy. A body that produced another human being.” – Unknown. ?? Sleep tightest and dream sweetest, Love … The mother of 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 … ME,” she wrote.

Zoleka has received major backlash on social media for what the society views as having a lot of children at her age, but she is not bothered by it. Taking to her Instagram account she said Zingce will be her last baby.

“Dear Diary, in 2023 and not this year because I’m giving birth to my very last baby for the rest of my life. I’m serious, it’s not funny and I don’t know why you’re laughing about it! Anyway, as I was saying, by the time I turn 43 in April 2023, I’m going to look and feel even better than what I looked like in this video (where I made the decision to be very single). I took in 2020, dawg. I also don’t want a man in my life because the moment I fall in love, weight gain, and pregnancy same time, my n*gga!” She added.

“I just don’t know how I’m going to cope without the sexual benefits of having a man because I don’t want the relationship per se, but I want the part where he comes over when I tell him to; without him spending the night, without him being with anyone else or bothering me with feelings because that’s just not in my DNA anymore,” she said.

Zoleka Mandela welcomed her 6th child a day before her 42nd birthday. The socialite who is fond of carrying followers along on her preggy journey took to social media to announce the birth of her 6th child.

She shared a photo of the baby’s card and revealed that her baby girl named Zingce Zobuhle Mandela was birthed on Friday morning, the 8th of April.Zoleka also appreciated Zingce for choosing her to be her mother.

“08.04.2022. Dear Diary, this morning (11:10) I gave birth to my daughter, Zingce Zobuhle Mandela … A day before my 42nd birthday!!! To my daughter … We did it, baby … Just me and you, thank you for choosing me as your MOM!!!”

Zoleka Mandela is beaming with pride after being able to pull off hosting a Spider-Man-themed birthday celebration for her three-year-old daughter Zenzile.

From Spider-Man-themed pillows to towels, colouring books and backpacks, Zoleka’s baby girl was spoilt for choice.

“Agenda for the themed, birthday party for Zenzile. Make it look like Spider-Man puked all over the house,” she wrote.

A happy mommy could not believe how time had flown as her daughter seems to have grown so fast.

“I threw a party for Zenzile’s third birthday today and invited the Queenship (aunts) because she doesn’t have friends as yet!

“I’m off to bed soon with the most grateful heart. The ability to provide my daughter with what she wanted, a Spider-Man party! I took her to two stores to purchase all her merchandise.”

Zoleka Mandela has shared the first look of her 6th child.

The star recently announced she will be expecting her baby with her partner Andile Cana and many of her fans had mixed reactions regarding the news.

Well, she has shared first look at baby Zingce by showing a picture of a 4D scan of her baby.

Many of her fans love her as she literally always smiling and her pictures and videos online and we would imagine she has the same lively personality in real life.

Zoleka posted about how happy she is to see that her baby is smiling already. She feels blessed and said she wouldn’t change anything for the world, even though she has been through some pretty dark moments in the past.

Zoleka Mandela remembers her late Daughter

Zoleka Mandela has noted how much of an over-sharer she is but she does not mind as it could be part of her healing process. The author and expectant mother took to her social media to open up about the loss of her daughter Zenani, 11 years ago, when she was only 13 years old.

Although this pregnancy is her last, Zoleka is a proud mother of 6 children. She shared a past session with her therapist and how it went. Her therapist asked her to list things she is most grateful but she could not put a number on her gratitude.

Zenani was killed by a drunk driver 11 years ago and her then psychiatrist advised her to read Habakkuk. She said she struggled to find those answers all those years, until now!

“As I walked into the kitchen to make breakfast, I looked at these set of cards I had stopped reading since my last depressive episode last year (cards I typically shuffled for each day for motivation – having stopped praying the day my grandmother passed away) and there it was … Habakkuk ( hadn’t even begun shuffling)!!!

“Eleven years later and it’s starting to make sense!!! I Googled it today, and this is what is says, “This metaphoric language describes the blessings the presence of God brings to a situation. A well-known book by this title explores the journey of a person who learns to overcome fear and suffering like a deer leaping over obstacles … When we run with hinds’ feet on high places, treading “on the heights,” we live above our circumstances,” she shared.
