Psyfo and his wife Aamirah recently celebrated their son’s first birthday. To mark the milestone the couple held a traditional Xhosa ceremony.

“For those wondering: Imbeleko is a significant ceremony in Xhosa & Zulu cultures, where a newborn is introduced to the ancestral spirits (on the paternal side),” Aamirah explained on her Instagram timeline.

“During this ritual, offerings are made to the ancestors, symbolising gratitude and seeking their blessings and protection for the child’s future. It’s a deeply spiritual and cultural event that strengthens the connection between the family and their heritage. So because daddy Croc is Xhosa, we followed the Xhosa way.”

In another post, Aamirah penned a heartfelt note to her son.

“Happy first birthday to our beautiful baby boy. No gift can come close to what you have been giving us every day for the past year.”

The happily wedded couple took to their social media timelines to mark the milestone. Happy 2 year anniversary my wife! We have managed to start our own family in such a short space of time since we met. To many more years together and our new born King!!!” Sidwell wrote.

“Today we celebrate the best decision we ever made. To two beautifully, challenging years. Happy anniversary,” Aamirah said. In October, Psyfo and Aamirah welcomed their first child. Psyfo was overwhelmed with happiness.

“I waited for you for so long but I was patient enough to know that only good things come to those who wait. No words can express how happy you have made me. It’s only been a few days but you have already shown me what true love is all about. I cannot wait for many more days with you as my son! Welcome to the world my boy” he wrote to his new bundle of joy.

Reflecting on being a new parent, Aamirah said she loved every part of it. Thoroughly enjoy motherhood with all the good and bad surprises it has in-store for me.

Psyfo’s mourns the death of his mother

Psyfo has taken to his social media to pen down heartfelt message to his mother who he recent lost.m The star is starting the year in bad note but it is going to be a great year for him.

Recall, Psyco also lost his brother and grandmother to Covid-19 in 2020.

He said: “I lost my grand mother to Covid 2 months ago. My younger brother passed away on Tuesday. Being strong is a skill I am getting tired of.”

However, taking to his Instagram, Psyfo thanked his mom for everything she has done for him. Although he did not reveal what the cause of her death is but he state that his mom gave him a new destiny and a chance for better life.

Psyfo captioned: “Thank you for everything you ever did for me. You gave me a new destiny and a chance for a better life. As heartbreaking as it is to type this I am also happy that you lived a full life and took your last breath doing what you love doing most, travelling to other countries. We will miss you and love you always”

Psyco concluded that he will miss her and will always love her no matter what.

Psyfo Struggling after Losing His Brother and Grandmother in 2 Months

Media personality Sipho “Psyfo” Ngwenya has revealed that he has lost two loved ones in a space of two months. The year 2020 has not been good for almost everyone in the entertainment industry and Psyfo can attest to that.
Having lost his grandmother to the vicious virus COVID-19, he also revealed that he lost his younger brother just two months after laying his granny to rest.
Announcing that his brother has passed away on Tuesday, Psyfo revealed that he is tired of being strong. “I lost my grandmother to COVID-19 2 months ago. My younger brother passed away on Tuesday. Being strong is a skill I am getting tired of,” he shared.

Friends and industry mates have taken to social media to send their heartfelt condolences to the presenter and his family.

Former fellow presenter Sade Giiberti wrote: “Condolences my bro. Words won’t make it better, and being strong can be extremely tiring. Just be. Feel. Mourn. Be angry. Be all the emotions you need to be. Sending you and your family so much love!
