Khaya Dladla ends his public relationship because there were so many red flags

During a conversation on “Engineer Your Life with Lungelo KM”, Khaya Dladla spoke candidly about why he didn’t have a happily ever ending.

Dladla was very public with his relationship with Mercutio Buthelezi, a KZN businessman. The former couple served Instagoals with their cute vacations, matching outfits, and a jaw-dropping engagement in October 2020.

“I was trying to create someone who didn’t exist,” Dladla lamented.

“It was a show and I didn’t realize that many of us were acting in that show. There were so many red flags but I wanted to constantly paint them pink because of the idea of the relationship I thought I was in versus what I was really in.

“I still wonder how many of us were in this relationship because I now know that we’re so so many of us. I even lost count,” he added, alluding to infidelity.

Sunday World reported that the couple drifted apart and distance became a factor for them.

“The distance between the couple became one of the issues they couldn’t work around.

“Initially they had no problem with the distance when Khaya moved to seek greener pastures, but they eventually started to drift apart,” a source told the publication.

Khaya Dladla to host Perfect Wedding

Khaya Dladla has been announced as the new host for ‘Perfect Wedding’.

The actor has revealed that he is an extremely busy person and yes, we can all see.

Recently, he has landed gig after gig and one would not believe that he was once jobless after leaving Uzalo where he played GC.

In addition to acting, the actor co-hosts a drive show on Gagasi FM in Durban.

Well, now he is set to host Mzansi’s favourite wedding show, Our Perfect Wedding.

The show airs every Saturday night at 19:00 on Mzansi Magic and follows couples as they embark on their wedding journey.

“He posted a video on his social media, showing himself filming,” said the source.

Upon being asked for a comment by the publication, Khaya refused to disclose the name of the show he’s working on due to contractual agreements. “You know the conditions of the contracts given to us do not allow us to announce before it is too late but soon people will know,” said Khaya.

After being spoiled in front of family and friends at a much-talked-about engagement party, House of Zwide actress Khaya Dladla is flying solo again.

Dladla got engaged to Mercutio Buthelezi at a surprise party attended by family and close friends in October 2020.

The lavish party was held at Ocean Reef Hotel in Zinkwazi, north of eThekwini.

After the engagement, an elated Dladla quickly took to social media with a snap of herself sporting a gorgeous ring.
Due to work commitments, Dladla, who appeared in the TV drama eHostela, had to leave eThekwini to spend more time in Jozi for the shoot of House of Zwide.

One of their close friends confirmed to the publication that the celebrity couple has separated.

According to the source, their busy schedules got in the way.

Buthelezi is a businessman while Dladla has a hectic schedule as an actor, model, singer, and radio host.

According the source, cracks started showing when Dladla moved to Jozi after landing a lead role in House of Zwide.

Dladla plays the character of Lazarus in the TV series, starring alongside veteran actors Vusi Kunene and Winnie Ntshaba.

Dladla said she was not willing to comment as the matter was private.

“Khaya was seen attending events solo and then started to delete photos of Shenge [Buthelezi’s clan name]. Then Shenge returned the favour by deleting Dladla’s photos on his account.

“The next thing we heard was that Shenge went back to his ex-lover’s arms.”

Buthelezi said he would not comment on the matter as he was still hurting.

Khaya Dladla bags a role on eHostela

Multi-talented actor and singer Khaya Dladla has decided to give acting another chance after he was sidelined by SABC 1’s hit soapie Uzalo producers.

The actor who won the hearts of many fans on the show with his enthralling performances was reduced to a call actor but now he is back on screen.

Khaya made his debut in eHostela last night and he plays the character of Nxebale Ndoda. The show returned for its second season last night and it plays on Mzansi Magic.

Khaya’s fans took to social media to express their excitement following his debut after his Uzalo stint which turned him into a household name with a legion of fans. Some hailed him for being versatile as he takes on a new role different from the gay character he portrayed on Uzalo.

Actor Khaya Dladla takes on Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo proposal challenge – Video

South African comedians are beginning to make themselves evident by starting a challenge using Mampintsha’s proposal to Babes Wodumo.

The two celebrities’ names were on the lips of most people on Thursday night after a viral video of the West Ink boss proposes to Babes was sighted on social media

Their relationship caused a huge issue in SA in 2019, after Mampintsha was caught in a video abusing the singer.

The issue went to court, and lots of people assumed they’ve split, but they reconciled and got back together.

Khaya Dladla Is Engaged!

Actor Khaya Dladla is officially off the market as he said yes when Mercutio Buthelezi asked for his hand in marriage. The two lovers announced their engagement on Sunday and the congratulatory messages came flooding.

The sizzling couple have been serving couple goals for the longest time now and they have entered a new phase in their lives, marriage.

Announcing the news, Khaya said, “So he proposed and I SAID YES,” as he showed off the flashy ring.

Buthelezi also shared his excitement as he became a betrothed man, “Our moment has finally arrived and his officially mine.”

Before proposing, he had hinted before that he plans on spending the rest of his life with the actor, when he referred to him as ‘his future.’ “Netflix and Chill with my future.”

Khaya Dladla revealed that his engagement was a surprise with friends in attendance. Unbeknownst to him, he didn’t know Mercutio was going to propose, he just thought it was an ordinary party. Even their guests were informed.

He revealed this as he narrated on his story that the venue was already set for the engagement party with the decorations sealing the deal.

The couple have been together for a while now and continued to serve couple goals all over social media.

Khaya is not the only actor to find love recently, handsome Isono actor Bohang Moeko popped the question and his girlfriend of two years Shantal ‘Shanty’ Dietrich “said yes!”

Bohang shared the good news on his Instagram where he shared a video of what seems to be the scene of the engagement and then the beautiful rock on Shaty’s finger emerges. The stunning diamond ring on her finger seals the deal of their love which started well over two years ago.

TV actor Khaya Dladla,revealed that he recently tested positive for Covid-19

Television entertainer and radio host Khaya Dladla, has uncovered that he as of late tried positive for Covid-19. Khaya who has recuperated from the infection took to Instagram to tell his fans that, he is living evidence of beating the lethal infection.

Khaya said yesterday it checked 14 days since he was in self-disengagement and featured that the days have been an excursion of reflection, new propensities, and an arrival some old ones.

He further said his excursion has been a passionate and extremely mental fight. The previous Uzalo entertainer urged his fans to fare thee well and talk life to themselves. He said it is all in your brain to beat the infection.
