Bongani reacts to her alleged affair with Matthew Booth

Bongani Mthombeni-Möller seems to be unbothered about the chaos regarding soccer legend Matthew Booth and his wife, Sonia. Sonia accused her Bongani of having an affair with her husband.

The star shocked so many on Monday when she detailed on Instagram infidelity that had torn her marriage apart.

She alleged Bongani and Matthew had been cheating since Valentine’s Day this year, going on many escapades and buying each other gifts.

“They spent the night in Polokwane and the following day he dropped her off at her house. I bet it was bliss because Matthew Booth arrived home with an exquisitely wrapped gift box, one of the perfumes being Guilty — a wicked sense of humour,” she wrote.

On Instagram on Tuesday morning, after remaining num while shooting up the trends list, Bongani said: “We are the ones who dare to live, we are the ones who dare to carry on under difficult circumstances … so keep it moving … on to the next.”

Bongani came clean in today’s episode of Finding Bongani Fassie. He said that he feels that he was molested by his mother’s lover Sindy Majola.

Because of this, he decided to go to the streets of Hillbrow to look for Sindi to confront her.

He said the first thing he noticed was that Sindi was going through some problems. Like her problems were written all over her face and body. He then took her to get some food so that they can talk.

Sindi feels that she has been disrespected and had Brenda been around, her life would be in an amazing position.

Sindi has never worked a full year ever since she moved to Yeoville from Lombardy East and as such life has been so hard on her.

Bongani went straight to business and told her straight. He said that his mother Brenda was away on a work trip to America and he went to stay with her. He had another room but Sindi asked him to come to sleep with her in her room and that is when Sindi touched Bongani inappropriately.

During this interaction, Sindi revealed that Brenda once had a miscarriage hence her song, too late for mama. According to Sindi, Brenda wanted another child so desperately that Sindi had to sleep with Bongani to make that happen for her lover.

It seems Bongani has healed and has forgiven Sindi for what happened back then.

In a surprising revelation, Buhle’s mom was raped and because of that Buhle is a result of that rape. This is still a touchy subject for everyone but we hope Buhle’s aunt including Buhle will eventually find it in their hearts to heal and forgive what was done to one of their own.

Did you also know that Buhle and Bongani have been together for close to 20 years but they have never been married? Buhle feels they should get married traditionally seeing that they already have two kids.

Bongani recently returned to the spotlight with his new reality tv show called Finding Bongani Fassie and tweeps seem to love it.

According to the statement on DSTV’s website, Bongani will be opening up to the viewers of his reality show and letting them know who he truly is.

The statement read: “He’s the son of a South African icon. He grew up in the spotlight, where his every success and mistake made headlines. Bongani Fassie will be the first to admit that living in the shadow cast by his brilliant mother, musician Brenda Fassie, was not easy.

“Breaking Free from the trauma of her untimely death in 2004 has been a lengthy and messy battle. But now, in his hard-hitting new reality series, Finding Bongani Fassie on Moja Love (DStv channel 157), Bongani is ready to speak his truth and show the world who he truly is – scars and all.”

On the statement, Bongani is quoted saying he is ready to let go of the past and to do so he is willing to revisit the past so that he can know where he is going.

“It comes as a shock to me to realise how much I have gone through and the negativity I have been exposed to. My mom was the strong 1 and an extrovert. I’m an introvert and had to put on a smile when, deep down, I wasn’t fine or happy. I have internalized so much pain but, through telling my story, I am letting go of the past. This is an important journey because you won’t know where you are going unless you revisit the past. The suffering, depression, and anger had to come to an end,” quoted Bongani on the statement.
