Bonang Reveals What She Wants On Valentines Day

As Valentines Day draws closer, Mzansi’s favourite golden girl Queen B, as she’s affectionately known to her fans, has revealed what she wants on the day.

The love month has officially kicked off on a high note however this year it will be different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as lovebirds need to celebrate it safely amid the pandemic.

But this time around it seems homegirl is not fussy. In a tweet, she revealed that she wants to be spoiled with flowers this Valentines “It’s Valentine’s Day…re rekeleng mablomo, bathong (please buy us flowers)!,” she tweeted.

We wonder who will buy her flowers this time around besides people who are close to her. The media personality has been keeping her relationship status private and she was recently accused of shooting her shot at Sizwe Dhlomo. This follows they had the internet talking after they both tweeted eye emojis.

A fan said Bonang wants Sizwe but Queen B caught wind of the tweet and she was quick to reply to the fan and she would not update us about her love life.

Another celeb who recently expressed her wish for Valentines Day is Boity Thulo. The rapper was responding to a fan on Twitter recently, who asked her what she wants for the special day for couples. Boity said, “I’m not a fussy girl. Just R200k.”

Revealing that she is single and she is manifesting for a good man she tweeted, “I hate that I might have to buy myself a Birkin instead of a man I’m in a relationship with. I’m so impatient! The man must arrive, already! Thixo!”

“Imagine having to buy myself a Rolls Royce Cullinan. Yhu ha a! No ways. My independent woman tolerance is not that high, beyps.”
The media personality and Maps Maponyane have been fuelling romance rumours for the longest time and neither one of them has come out to state whether they are an item or not. Map’s mom recently thanked Boity for spoiling her with a gift referring to her as her daughter-in-law, probably she was manifesting though.

Queen B’s House of BNG is already experiencing amazing growth just after being launched a couple of months ago

In addition to that, she also recently partnered with one of Africa’s biggest network MTN ZA.

Bonang Matheba is arguably South Africa’s leading media personality and the fans always want to know what’s going on with her love life.

The last time she was linked to a man it was Banele Mbere one half of the Major League DJz. She never came out to claim him but the streets are convinced something happened between them.

Last year the story broke that the Queen B* had found her King B* in the arms of Banele. The speculations gained traction as the paparazzi-style images of the two started circulating on the internet. It seemed that people had been sitting on the images, waiting until it was a story to leak the images. One, in particular, featured Bonang gifting her supposed man a customized bottle of the House of BNG, with the title of his then-latest project, “Ase Trap Kepina Tsa Ko Kasi,” with now household name, Focalistic.

The two never actually categorically denied the rumors of their relationship, but simply just let the story of their suspected relationship die down slowly. However, every now and then we would be reminded that maybe the two still have a thing going on. For instance, when last were Nadia and Bonang friends publicly? Why did Kamo Mphela that was rumored to have date Banele, shade the Queen during her interview with MacG? How did Bonang and Mihlali suddenly form a “friendship.”

Bonang Matheba is arguably one of the authorities when it comes to the South African media space, and the Queen B* took to Twitter to publicly endorse newly crowned Miss SA, Shudufhadzo Musida, amidst the backlash received of the beauty.

To call it backlash might be an exaggeration, but Shudufhadzo has been receiving mixed reviews as the new Miss SA. The first matter that the beauty queen needs to do is attempt to forge a reign that is not cast in the shadow of Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi. This is proving a mammoth task even for Shudufhadzo, just like it did with the Miss South African 2019, Sasha-Lee Olivier. Shdufhadzo is currently dealing with comparisons from South Africans between her and Zozibini.

A second matter that Miss South Africa needs to consider is her social media etiquette. Part of Miss South Africa is deciding what your legacy is going to be. Currently, looking at her social media feed, Shadufhadzo’s timelines do not suggest an interaction with her fans. The relationship seems one sided, with the only interaction she does is when shared and interacted with, by now-fellow popular media personalities.

Part of being a memorable Miss South Africa is social interactions, which was the reason that Shudufhadzo first faced backlash as Miss South Africa hopeful. A matter that has recurred following her win, as she has yet addressed the matter. However, maybe Shudufhadzo end game is not to be the people’s Miss South Africa, but a certain tax brackets’ Miss South Africa; hence the support from the celebrities like Bonang Matheba and Limpopo’s very own, Makhadzi.

Makhadzi was one of the attendees during the second day of Shudufhadzo’s homecoming tour of Limpopo. The celebrations during the homecoming have been spectacular from the visuals shared. But the best moment so far for the beauty queen was having a ceremony to honor her grandparents. One moment in particular that touched her so much was when they sang her late grandmother’s favourite hymn, with Shudufhadzo giving a little praise dance.

It is still early days for Shudufhadzo, but the good sis needs to start considering what kind of support she has and wants. The beauty queen has still to compete at the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants and having the unequivocal support of her country is paramount. Therefore the coming months will prove telling because if she leaves without the support, and comes back still Miss SA; the question becomes what will her legacy be, and will it be memorable.

Bonang Matheba has crushed the hearts of many ‘Being Bonang’ viewers when she announced that season 3 was the end of it. Without divulging too much information, she pointed out that the main reason is that it was the worst experience ever. Now the reality star has raised eyebrows with her shady tweet that fans have concluded was directed at the executive producer, Legend Manqele.

Bonang seems to have closed the door of being a reality star after three successful seasons of the hit show.

The entrepreneur shared a while ago that working on the season was one of the worst working experiences she endured. She said one day her fans should remind her give out the details.

“Making Being Bonang Season 3 was one of the worst working experiences of my life! Glad it’s ending…remind me to tell y’all why one day!” said the now-deleted tweet.

Legend also tweeted a cryptic tweet that had many convinced it was directed at Bonang. However, the whole saga surrounding the theft allegations against Somizi Mhlongo, where he is accused by Hastings Moeng who claimed that the concept of Dinner Kwa Somizi’s was his brainchild, and that Somizi had stolen it.

Somgaga admitted that Hastings approached him but declined the offer, and he further added that Legend Manqele, who is the executive producer of Dinner At Somizi’s, contacted him to start a cooking show. He said that he originally wanted to start a YouTube channel but was contacted by Legend who said he should rather do a Television show.

“So I started falling in love with cooking. Then I started my own YouTube Channel. Then Legend called and says no don’t do a cooking show, we’re gonna do a TV show right. Legend came with an idea, I did not like it…I want something that speaks to me, that is me.”

Pearl Thusi tried to dissect the e-mail and concluded that the e-mail was sent to Legend Manqele, therefore he should be blamed for intellectual property theft.

Legend’s now-deleted tweet, “the enemy of black, is black” has many thinking it was either directed at Bonang or the theft allegations, either way Bonang’s response suggests that there is more to this than anybody can imagine.

“We are excited to announce that A Very Bonang Year reached a record-breaking 1.86 million viewership in its first episode of broadcasting. This is unheard of for any broadcast platform in South Africa for a celebrity-driven reality show genre and at a time when SA viewers have more reality TV content to choose from.

“As a channel, we had intentionally stayed away from celeb reality and for our first attempt at this format, we are proud of this achievement as it further confirms a great decision the channel took in acquiring and partnering with the show,” said Zandile Nkonyeni, head of PR for SABC TV Channels.

The B-Force cannot contain its excitement and twitter is abuzz already as they cannot wait for part two of the documentary.

Bonang has dropped a few teasers and this has made us all the more impatient. We have set reminders and the mood is set.

From the teasers we have seen the show promises to be explosive.

In part two of A Very Bonang Year, Bonang is back in the USA to receive her E! Entertainment award and attends a Wild Aid gala along with Hollywood star Djimon Hounsou. In New York, Bonang continues apartment hunting and takes to the red carpet with Trevor Noah, and then also does an interview with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy on America’s biggest radio show, The Breakfast Club.

Bonang Matheba is still planning on living her best life before she settles down and raise her children.

Queen B assured fans that her future definitely does consist of kids however at the moment she still wants to focus on her career and her lifestyle that involves a lot of travelling, alcohol and partying.

The entrepreneur and reality TV star went on Instagram Live for an interview with IOL where she opened up about the pressures people put on her in terms of marriage and starting her family now that she is in her 30s.

“My life right now I want to party, to enjoy my alcohol beverages, to go to night clubs and party. I want to get on an Emirates plane at two o’clock in the morning and not stress anybody,” she said.

She said when she does eventually have kids her life will completely stop but she wants that to happen when she has enough money to do so and not be completely dependent on the father of her kids should he lose his income.

“I love children and I know as soon as I have a child everything is going to stop. I can’t have a child now because I am very selfish with myself and with my time. There are certain things that I want to do first and achieve before I bring someone into this world,” she opened up.
