Andile Mxakaza weighs in on Lady Du’s saga with management

Andile Mxakaza has taken to social media to react and weigh in on his ex-wife, Lady Du’s saga with her management.

This is coming after Lady Du took to her social media platforms to expose her manager.

She said he has been telling promoters that she is not available for bookings.

Taking to Instagram, Andile said he is not trying to involve himself in the matter but he just wanted to back up his ex-wife’s side of the story.

He said he has seen Lady Du crying a couple of times because of her manager.

He also urged his fans to help her. “Good people, I am not trying to get involved but I Actually saw what her manager did to Lady Du and I ask you good people to help. She used to cry because of him ngicela no dealer naye. I know uyasaba njengo muntu wesimame he threatened her, so pls help her,” Andile wrote.

Andile Mxakaza has taken to his social media to blame witchcraft for the failure of his relationship with Lady Du.

Lady Du brought social media by storm after announcing that she and her husband have called it quits.

She said their breakup was amicable and they realised they wanted different things in life. “I am not one for gossip, it bores me. This is from my heart, We did not break up, we followed our hearts and that meant separating before things went south.

“I’ve had numerous attacks from people I didn’t even know, people making me uncomfortable because of culture, people attacking my character, scratching my cars. So I decided it’s best I follow my heart and leave my relationship.

Andile also took to social media to break his silence.

He shared how proud he is of Lady Du and said he is proud that she stood her ground and never gave up even when she was attacked by people.

“I am sorry you never found peace in our relationship, I am proud how you stood your ground and never gave up even when you were attacked by people.I want you to find true happiness and I am happy with the decision you made, you way stronger then you look.# qiniso lami@ ladydu_sa,” he wrote.

Well, in another video he shared, he slammed naysayers who have been meddling into their relationship affairs. “Love is love, people break up if there are problems,” he said.

He said if things are meant to work out between him and the wife he chose they will be. He also shared another clip where he accused people of witchcraft.

“There are people who are busy abusing another child. They have been abusing her for a long time and I am also getting tired. Women practice witchcraft and I don’t want to name drop, I know the person who is doing this and they keep on doing it and I am warning them to stop doing it,” he said.

Amapiano vocalist Lady Du, has revealed that she and her husband Andile Mxakaza have taken the decision to separate from each other.

According to her, she urged her fans and that of her husbands to respect their decision as they embark on a separated life as a couple.

She wrote:

“I am not one for gossip, it bores me. This is from my heart, We did not break up, we followed our hearts and that meant separating before things went south. So I decided it’s best I follow my heart and leave my relationship.

“We also realised we want different things. So we are both happy with the decision and we ask that you kindly respect it. It hasn’t affected any of us. Let it not affect you or make you sad.

Andile Mxakaza, better known as Fezile on Mzansi Magic’s canned telenovela Isibaya, is not big on social media or flaunting his love-life for all to see.

However, details about his relationship status are not private at all. The actor is engaged to amapiano musician Duduzile Ngwenya aka Lady Du.

The couple actually got engaged last year in August after rekindling their love when they met in the same year in April. This week they went out with their friends and family to celebrate their birth month and that us when Andile surprised his DJ fiancée with a new engagement ring.

Lady Du shared the news on her Instagram, with a video of the ‘proposal’ in which she was crying tears of joy.

We got engaged last year august, 3 months into the relationship. I’ve never been sooo happy my entire life. Today he decided to upgrade my ring. It’s our birthday month, since I’m busy he and my brother @siphosomething planned all this. @andilemx I love you king I really have no words.”

Lady Du is well-known for her amapiano tracks ‘Dakiwe’ and ‘Catalia’ and she features in Umsebenzi Wethu by Busta 929, Mpura, Mr JazziQ, Reece Madlisa, and Zuma, as a vocalist.

Born in Voslorus, the 30-year-old musician is the daughter of veteran R&B DJ Choc, and her uncle is DJ Zan D. Although music was her first love, she studied Somatology in London and spent a year traveling over 100 countries as a somatologist and skin therapist on a cruise ship.

She ditched this career path in 2016 and focused solely on music, but things were not coming together. Because bills were piling up, she took up a job in the corporate space and even sold her house for a smaller apartment. She had struggled so much with trying to break into ghe industry that she had given up and wanted to end her life.

“I became incredibly depressed about my situation. I had quit my job because I wasn’t happy. The music was not going anywhere, and family was pushing me to start a business or go corporate. But all I wanted was music,” she told Drum Magazine in March.
