Siphesihle Ndaba‘s video showing off her abs whilst in the Gym left Mansi impressed. The twenty-four-year-old rose to fame playing the role of Mazet on Mansi Magic soapie Gomora. Mazet is a cripple by accident in the show, and she uses a wheelchair to move around. She requires so much attention due to her body condition.

Mazet’s hope of walking again vanished with the death of caring Phumulani, who made sure she exercised and took her to the hospital. All this has made her look like a person who is not active, let alone a gym monster. Siphesihle shared a video on her Instagram displaying her gorgeous body that we don’t get to see on the screen.

Probably at that time, she was not going to the gym. It is safe to say that Mazet had now realised her potential in the art business and decided to be in her best shape. Siphesihle Ndaba, who plays the role of Mazet on Gomora, posted an image with a young girl and Mzansi was left wondering if the child was indeed her daughter.

On Gomora, the Mazet character is a gangster, MaSonto‘s right hand and car high jacking expert. She introduced Ntokozo (Ntobeko Sishi) to the crime syndicate and was involved in a botched car high jacking ordeal that claimed Mbongeni Ndaba’s life.

Over the Gomora storyline, Mazet tosses around with Ntokozo’s feelings. Ntokozo struggles to get his relationship with Mazet into something tangible. Mazet previously had a brief relationship with Ntokozo’s father, Principal Melusi Dlamini.

Born on 4 August 1997 in Soweto, South Africa, in a family of three maternal siblings, her father had eighteen children in total. She rose through the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls. She graduated with two Degrees, BSS in Psychology, Economics and Dramatic Arts and Honours Degree in Dramatic Arts from Rhodes University. Though she was involved in some college Theatre productions as a director and actor, Gomora is her first television gig.

“Everyone was assigned a role, from the cameraman to the extras, and I am so grateful that they were all willing to help me. We taped it, I sent it back to his team, and they asked me to come in for a second call back once I arrived back in SA. That’s when I got the part,” Ndaba narrates on how she lands her role.

Questions about Mazet’s marital status resurfaced after her image with the young girl circulates on social media. The young girl identified as Ayanda has visible similarities with Mazet, facially and stature.

Ndaba candidly reacted to the theory claiming that she is not only related to Winfrey but she is actually her daughter.

“Correct. She’s my mother” Ndaba wrote.

The academy is mostly attended by young girls from a disadvantaged background of which the actress has previously opened up about in her previous interviews.

“We didn’t have much growing up. A single mother raising three children and she worked a housekeeping job and obviously earned minimum wage” Ndaba said.

The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy For Girls was founded in 2007 by Oprah Winfrey and saw its first group of 72 girls graduated in 2011. The actress began her journey at the academy from grade 10 and credits most of her success to the iconic network producer.

“ I am so grateful for that and so my inspiration also comes from the idea that I want to create that world for somebody else. Somebody else took a chance on me and afforded me the opportunity to do great things and I want to do the same and be that person in somebody else’s life ” she said.

A big win was producer Master KG, who took home the Musician Of The Year Award. He said: “I am so excited to have won. Thank you to the Feathers for making me one of them. Even with the pandemic, 2020 has been great.

“I’d like to thank Open Mic Productions for always going all the way with me and everyone else who has been pushing for me.” He also thanked his fans, who have been with him from day one and growing his YouTube numbers.

He was recently crowned Best African Act at the MTV EMA Awards.
