The star announced she is now a proud owner of a new home.

Lungelo is celebrating her new home after enduring a lot of problems at the apartment she was renting.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a photo of herself holding a key to her new house.

“Here’s to Number 1 ?If it wasn’t for those Death threats, stalking and scare notes early this year – I’d still be renting at that lame apartment with water issues ?. I guess I was getting comfortable and God was like nah Ngelo we oughta move to your next level”

Actress Lungelo Mpangase is in good spirits after recently spoiling herself with a brand new Benz. Lungelo has been hard at work featuring in the country’s top series and music videos. The star’s recent success is truly a reflection of her hard work.

Taking to Instagram, Lungelo posted pictures of her car and penned a touching caption. She posted ‘It slaps different when you worked hard for it. Even harder when there’s a before story lol , here’s mine: Those times when I didn’t have taxi fare to attend auditions.

Getting mugged on Barry hertzog Avenue and stranded, walked to Noord and begging taxi drivers to get a free ride?

Not making it on time for my call coz taxis in Vosloorus operated from 4:30am and my call time was4:30am but I was going to Sandton ?

When I severely broke my spine in a taxi accident and had to go learn to walk ?

I could go on ,but I’ve learned there’s wisdom in the struggle.

My mom said to me “iva likhishwa ngelinye iva” and I did exactly that!

I hope this inspires a little dreamer in the village that you can start from nothing with no connections and still go somewhere with God.

Actress Lungelo Mpangase gives back to the community

Lungelo Mpangase is helping three people get closer to achieving their dreams.

The actress, known for her leading roles in Mzansi Magic’s eHostela and Mzali Wam, will be giving three prizes to aspiring actors and people who want to finish matric.

The winner will receive a bursary fund of R8 500, the runner-up will be given an on-set experience and the other runner-up will get help setting up a portfolio.

Lungelo told Daily Sun: “I do this through my company, Mpangase Originals, which I use to help people. The bursary fund is for people who owe school fees or want to finish matric.

“I’m a firm believer in education. I believe the pen is mightier than the sword.
“For the two other prizes, I really want to equip people with knowledge. “Once I was still hustling and trying to get into acting,” she said.

“I wish someone had come to me and shared information and maybe taken me to set. The portfolio will also make life easier for them.”

Lungelo said applications had closed and she and her team were currently in the process of choosing winners.

“For the bursary fund, we needed a motivational letter and financial statement or report proving you really owe fees and need the money,” she said.

“For the other prizes, they needed to do a monologue of one of my scenes and add their own style.”

Lungelo said she hoped to have more and bigger giveaways in coming years.
