Just days after Somizi and Vusi Nova crawled out of their social media hiatus of posting each other, the media personality posted a picture of his “boi” with the caption “Kasi vibes with my boi” and mentioned musician Sinethemba Magubane in the post.

Somizi, who recently reopened the comments section of his posts after turning them off for about a month, nipped fans’ speculation in the bud as he clearly stated that Sinethemba is not his boyfriend. He also added that he will not be getting into a relationship anytime soon.

“Bathong fam (please) rest (I) never said boyfriend I said boi…..yhu andizi there (I’m not going there) anytime soon,” wrote Somizi in the comments section of his post.

This follows the abuse allegations made against the media personality by his estranged husband, actor Mohale Motaung. In audio clips leaked by a local publication, the Rockville actor tells the producer of Living The Dream With Somizi that he had been physically and psychologically abused by his estranged husband. He also went on to mention that Somizi had sabotaged his professional relationship with the Fergusons and made shocking revelations about their s.e.x life.

Mohale also made the big revelation that the pair were, by default, married into community of property due to their traditional wedding. With Somizi being one of Mzansi’s richest celebrities, will Mohale change his mind about going for 50% of Somizi’s assets?

“He didn’t want us to sign because he probably also had ideas that I want to marry him for his money, but he also didn’t know that by us having a traditional wedding we are automatically married in community of property,” said Mohale.

“By law I’m supposed to be getting 50% off whatever that you own. If you are refusing to give me the car then we are going to go the big lawyer route where you are now going to be forced to give me half of your assets,” continued Mohale.

In the aftermath of the abuse allegations, Somizi had taken “some time off” from both his radio gig The Bridge on Metro FM and his seat on the judging panel of Idols SA. Somizi has since been replaced by an “exciting line-up of celebrities” for the rest of the season.
