More On Boity Thulo And Bujy’s Legal Battle

As the legal battle between TV personality Boity Thulo and Bujy Bijwa continues to get messier and messier. Boity is allegedly demanding a whopping 1 million rand from the flamboyant former Metro FM radio. The settlement relates to assault charges she filed against him. According to City Press, Boity is also asking for R200 000 to cover the medical expenses she incurred after the incident.

Early this month, Boity filed a case against Bikwa for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm following an altercation that turned physical between them at a hotel in Midrand. She sustained facial injuries after a bottle of alcohol was thrown at her face. Boity was hospitalized after the bitter spat, and now she demands Bujy take responsibility for assaulting her.

In a twist of events, Bujy also filed a counter-case of assault against Boity saying both of them were guilty. “I also opened a counter case of common assault against the culprit for physically attacking me and after being in pain from the injuries I sustained for seven days, being held in police custody, I have received medical attention and have filed my medical records towards my counter case,” he shared.

In his now deleted statement, Bujy said Boity insulted him, his surname and told him that he is nothing. “I was verbally abused and told that my surname has no relation to who I am and because of that, that is why my career is going nowhere in terms of growth, in fact, “what is it that I do in the media industry because I am actually nothing!” he said.

Bujy reveals he too was physically assaulted, “being kicked and punched while being told that “I am a man, I am a man,” I must take it. The pain of suffering of having to let a woman abuse me verbally and physically while trying to contain myself and holding her hands to stop was not enough until witnesses managed to defuse the situation.”

However in one of his many statements he issued, Bujy apologized and said he could have handled the situation differently ” I would like to apologize to everyone for my reaction in the situation. I regret that it happened and also accept the occurrence as unacceptable behavior, and I could have handled the situation differently and not have it escalate to the levels it has from either myself or the said complainant and I do not condone any acts of violence by any person including myself.”

So will he settle the R1 million Boity is demanding? Well, he Bujy told TshisaLive recently he feels that it is unfair for Boity to demand money from him, considering both of them were at fault.

“I need to take accountability for her scars but now, she opened a case, I got arrested…the worst part is that she sent a letter demanding R1m and I’m just like, so you don’t want to resolve this. Where will I get R1m when both of us are at fault?” he asked.

Tweeps have reacted to Boity’s demands and they are bot happy.

@MphoMolepo_ “Boity’s claim is not in line with acceptable standards. R500k is the number!”
@Riccardo_Elle ” Where will Bujy get 1 million from Lol Boity’s dlozis didn’t tip her before making such demands.”
@THATONZI “He must pay for what he did. Teach him a lesson!! If he can’t pay he should be arrested.”

Youths can’t get enough of Uncle Vinny at EFF leader Julius Malema’s rallies

Popular dancer Kabelo “Uncle Vinny” Ndlovu left students screaming for more of his dance moves after his performance during EFF leader Julius Malema’s rally.

Uncle Vinny danced in front of over 1 500 students from the University of Cape Town, University of Western Cape, and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

After he left the stage ahead of Malema’s address, the crowd started chanting his name.

And after Malema addressed the students, Uncle Vinny returned to the stage.

The students danced and sang along with him.

“I think he is the best dancer of amapiano music in South Africa,” said Ongeziwe Magibisela (20).

“I always watch him dance on YouTube but it’s amazing to watch him live.

Lubabalo Ngubane (23) said: “If I had to vote for the best dancer in Mzansi, I’d give my vote to Vinny.

“The boy is slick.

“It’s like he doesn’t have bones.

“Spider-Man came to the scene and left but Vinny is here with us,” said Lubabalo.

He said another act called Uncle Waffles was trying to take Vinny’s crown but there was no contest.

“Vinny is without a doubt the best in the game.”

Malema’s rally was graced by artists and actors including Ntando Duma, Skeem Saam actor Eric Macheru, rapper Fifi Cooper, Malaika’s Matshediso Mholo as well as members of Alaska.

All the artists chanted EFF slogans and called on students to ensure that the Red Berets win all the voting stations at university campuses.

Mihlali Ndamase’s lip filling experience goes wrong

Mihlali Ndamase’s lip filling experience goes wrong

Multi-award-winning content creator Mihlali Ndamase has finally opened up about her lip filler experience months after social media speculations that she might have done something on her lips.

Taking to her YouTube channel, Mihlali opened up to her over 300K subscribers about the experience. Setting the record straight she explained that her decision was not influenced by insecurities. She said she just wanted to get the bridge that she always wanted.

She explained, “I honestly didn’t do them because of any insecurity about my lips or any insecurity about my face in actual fact I honestly just wanted to achieve a fuller lip but I wanted it naturally. I love the bridge on full lips and I wanted that bridge so I thought let me just go and buy this bridge.”

She said she paid over R5000 to get the lip bridge but the results were not what she had hoped for.

“I basically felt like my lips were botched and obviously quite a few people noticed. I mean you guys know how my face looks,” she said pouring her heart out on YouTube.

Making it clear that she does not blame the Dr. for the outcomes of her lip filling process, Mihlali said her lips were too big and the Dr. told her to give it at least 2 weeks but after that, she was still not satisfied.

Mihlali said she started panicking, and she then booked an appointment with another doctor to get her lips dissolved which gave her the bridge she desired but only on the one side of her lips. She said she then went back to the first Dr. and the rest is history, she is happy with the shape of her lips at the moment.

The YouTuber said she was worried about her lips because she constantly has to be in front of the camera.

“I work with my face, I definitely can’t shoot content with these and expect people not to notice,” she said.

Mihlali’s face has brought her the success that she has today of course her hard work as well. During her interview on Banques and Venom show on YFM she revealed that she was getting a million rand on a deal she had just bagged.

“I can’t say the brand because I’ve just signed with them. So there is something that I’m doing with a brand soon and they’re giving me one bar. To post my content, product placements,” she said.

LaConco opens up about her struggles after being dumped by former President Jacob Zuma – ‘I had to lower my standards’

Former President Jacob Zuma’s ex-fiance Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco has revealed she is trying to rebuild her life.

In her motivational speech, she revealed she fell from grace and became broke and poor.

She said she moved from a position where she could afford expensive brands to a position where she couldn’t afford meat.

It is not clear when or where the event was held but during her speech, she revealed she’s been through hard times and now she is trying to stand on her own.

“I’ve since learned that in marriage, it is important to be independent so that whatever your partner decides does not shake you. I’ve also learnt that your partner is there to complement you. I’ve been put in a ball of fire but I remained steady and unshaken. I couldn’t act fast but I waited for God’s time. I’m glad I didn’t rush my decision because I’m now content. I’m at peace with myself. I’m at a stage where I don’t bother anymore because all that matters is that I’m alive.”

She said there was a point in her life where she was so broke that she couldn’t even afford a braai pack.

“It was so bad so much that I had to compare prices before buying one. I had to lower my standards and acknowledge that things have changed. At that point I told myself that God is the provider. What I went through was just a boot camp. But now I love the woman I’m becoming. Even those who know my story are still surprised because they’ve never seen someone as strong as me.”

Her industry friends and followers commended her for sharing her story.

Actress Maduvha Madima said: “Sthandwa sam, you are power. You are powerful.”

Portia Msimanga commented: “You are a walking powerhouse.”

Lufuno Pearl wrote: “That was beautiful. It really hit home. Thank you so much for the wise words. We thank God for your wisdom. Stay blessed.”

Warrant of arrest issued for beer loving Zahara – Here is why she is going to jail for a long time

Warrant of arrest issued for beer loving Zahara – Here is why she is going to jail for a long time

Warrant of arrest issued for beer loving Zahara – Here is why she is going to jail for a long time

Afro-soul singer Bulelwa Mkutukana, best known by her stage name Zahara could face jail time after a warrant for her arrest was issued on Friday.

The warrant was issued by the Johannesburg Commercial Crimes Court sitting in Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court after she failed to show up to answer to a charge of failing to submit her personal tax returns.

The Umthwalo Wam hitmaker was charged by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) early this year for contravening South African tax laws for failing to submit her personal tax returns for 2017 and 2018 to the South African Revenue Service (Sars).

She appeared in the same court last month and the matter was postponed to Friday last week where she was supposed to plead to the charge and possibly begin the trial.

But the Phendula singer cocked a snook at the court when she failed to appear for apparently no plausible reason and as a result, a warrant for her arrest was immediately issued. But its execution was stayed until Wednesday, October 27.

NPA South Gauteng spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane confirmed that a warrant of arrest had been issued against the Loliwe crooner.

“We can confirm that a warrant of arrest has been issued for Bulelwa “Zahara” Mtukukana for her failure to appear in the Johannesburg Commercial Crimes Court sitting in Palm Ridge on her charge of failing to submit her personal tax returns. But it was held over until Wednesday October 27,” she said.

The warrant of arrest was issued a month after the songstress recorded her second criminal record after paying an admission of guilt fine of R2 000 for failing to submit her company Zahara Army’s income tax returns after pleading guilty to the charges.

She paid the fine when she appeared in the same court after the NPA charged her in her capacity as the director of her company, Zahara Army Projects (Pty) Ltd, for failing to submit company tax returns for 2017 and 2018 to Sars.

After paying the fine, the case was removed from the court roll.

Mjonondwana said the NPA welcomed the outcome of the case involving her failure to submit her company’s tax returns as that would send a strong message to would-be tax dodgers that no one was immune from tax compliance and that all people were equal before the law.

Zahara recorded her first criminal record when she paid a R1 500 guilt fine for failing to appear in the same court for the same case in June.

This after the court gave her an option to pay the quantum or spend three months in jail after finding her guilty of contempt of court.

The musician, whose career has taken a nosedive and has been struggling to pay her bills, handed herself over to the police after a warrant of arrest was issued in April against her.
