Amanda Manku, who plays Dr. Elizabeth Thobagale on the popular soapie, is now a married woman. She couldn’t wait to share photos with her husband with her followers and fans on her social media pages. The wedding bells have rung, and Elizabeth from Skeem Saam actress is officially Mrs Tau.

The beautiful actress was married in a traditional ceremony during the December holidays, and she is over the moon. She has advised people to call her “Mme Tau”, going further.

After all the things she went through, she is in a happy space in love. The wedding was on the 22nd of December 2021 in front of her family and friends.

Elizabeth suffered a considerable blow in her life not so long ago. Her Mother and Grandmother were violently attacked and shot dead by two anonymous people. The unfortunate incident occurred in Limpopo Makgophong village in Zebediela in May of 2021.

The reason behind these senseless killings is still unknown.

Amanda also suffered a bad case of the virus after that. She detailed that she and her siblings contracted the virus. Amanda says she was hit the hardest, and the Covid made her change her perspective in life.

Elizabeth said due to her Mother and Grandmothers passing, she didn’t feel like even celebrating her birthday but almost dying from the virus made her realise how precious life is.

Even though her mother and grandma couldn’t celebrate her wedding with her, she has shared that she is delighted and even went on her Twitter page to share how unbelievable it is that she is now a wife. Her marriage came as she needed to be happy again after suffering so many challenges
