Thuli Phongolo opens up about her love life

Thuli Phongolo decided to open up about her love life on Twitter and shared what she wants in a man. Fans started weighing in and asking her what she did to get the healthy relationship that she is in now. Thuli clapped back at a follower who insinuated that she went out to the world looking for love.

South African actress and DJ Thuli Phongolo took to the Twitter streets to open up about her relationship status. Thuli has been linked with Duduzane Zuma as her boyfriend and Mzansi peeps are almost always left wondering who the star is actually dating.

The former Generations: The Legacy actress said she prefers to keep her love life private and off of social media. She snapped at a follower who wanted to give their own opinion on her relationships.
Thuli said that she does not want a man who is active on social media: “I really don’t want a man on social media! I’m always just laughing at the sh** that guys do on social media.”

After she made people aware that she is indeed in a relationship, her replies section was then flooded with relationship advice. Thuli then revealed that she did not actively seek out a relationship, it found her.

“I was just living my life, worried about me, my loved ones and plans!” she said.

A follower then came at her sideways and argued that Thuli attracted the relationship her way, not that she wasn’t actively looking for it. To which she replied:

“Don’t spin the wheel. You know exactly what you were implying and now that the response doesn’t suit your plot, you’re throwing toys about.”

Former Generations actress Thuli Phongolo fired over her housemaid who works until 12 midnight

DJ and former Generations: The Legacy actress Thuli Phongolo has come under fire on social media after her post about maids rubbed people the wrong way and backfired against her.

The actress played the role of Namhla Diale, the daughter of Lucy Diale (Manaka Ranaka) on the soap opera Generations: The Legacy between 2014 and 2018. She left the show when her character was written off in 2018.

The actress’s post about how her maid had stayed up till well after midnight to help her undress did not come well with most people. Writing on her Instagram stories, Thuli Phongolo wrote,

“Guys, not my helper waiting for me till 00:28 to help me with my dress and my PJs laid out for me! I appreciate her so much, I can’t!!!!”

Unsurprisingly, the post caused mixed reactions among social media users with some saying that if Thuli really wants to appreciate her maid and domestic help, she should ensure that she works reasonable hours. Others accused the actress of being insensitive by actually posting this on social media.

However, other social media users rushed to Thuli’s defence saying that the actress had not done anything wrong or distasteful since her maid was doing the work of her own volition without being forced.

South African actress, Thuli Phongolo is fun drenched in Dubai, and has spent it all while on vacation over there. It’s been a hectic year, from the sudden new of legends’ death to the outbreak of COVID-19, which kept most people indoors for over 5 months.

While on lockdown, most people promised to give themselves special treats after the whole pandemic comes to an end. The pandemic is yet to be over, but the spread is being controlled, making South Africa reach a sociable phase, that is, Level 1. Thuli flooded her social media account with update that she’s living the best life in Dubai, and she’s done multiple shopping, hence emptying her bank account.

Actress Thuli Phongolo who is also dating DJ Zinhle’s new boyfriend Murdah breathes fire

Africa’s number one female DJ Zinhle seems to be stuck in another love triangle.

Zinhle who recently went on her Instagram page to announce her new bae after splitting up with her baby daddy; AKA again is apparently seeing flames in her new relationship with Bongani Mohosana known as Murdah. Murdah is one half of Mzansi’s popular house music duo, Black Motion, and is the first man who managed to steal the heart of Africa’s most popular female DJ, Zinhle following her breakup.

Murdah, who prefers to keep his private life private unlike Zinhle, has been under the microscope as fans want to know more about the man who’s keeping that smile on DJ Zinhle’s face. Murdah was previously, dating former Generations The Legacy actress and DJ; Thuli Phongolo who like Murdah preferred to keep her love life out of the spotlight.

Zinhle who was previously in a love triangle with Bonang Matheba and AKA was apparently asked by her new bae to keep their relationship private but she preferred to show him off. She felt like her new boyfriend wanted to keep their relationship a secret and she wasn’t having it.

Apparently things were not over between Phongolo and Murdah when Zinhle announced their new relationship. Phongolo who is known to be one of the rudest celebrities in South Africa has been angry since Mudah and Jiyane became public. It looks like Zinhle is doing exactly what Bonang did to her, except this time, Thuli isn’t pregnant.

Zinhle is apparently tired of being ‘nice’ and is ready for war. Both Thuli Phongolo and Mudah were so careful and private in their relationship and have denied they were in a relationship. However, there were times where the actress and her boyfriend left breadcrumbs. Like; snaps where the actress Thuli Phongolo and Black Motion member Bongz were both on a safari vacay at the same time.
