Thomas Gumede and Zola Nombona celebrate son’s 2nd birthday

Thomas Gumede and Zola Nombona are celebrating their son’s second birthday and they cannot be more excited.

The couple welcomed their bundle of joy in 2020 and celebrated their first birthday last year.

Taking to Instagram, Thomas Gumede revealed what his son’s favorite song is, and showed gratitude for the opportunity to witness his son grow.

“His favorite song is khuza gogo. He walks, he thinks he talks, he laughs and dances all day! He claps his hands and can say mama and baba (sometimes papa coz our wonderful nanny speaks Sesotho). He is my pride and joy. He makes me believe I can and must overcome every problem. He is my strength, and today he is 1 year old. Only God knows how long we have on this planet and I thank HIM every day that I get to witness my son grow! Happy birthday mfana wami, ubaba ukuthanda ngendlela emangalisayo!!”

Well, it’s his second birthday and they have taken to social media to share beautiful photoshoots.

Actor Thomas Gumede has revealed he is enjoying every moment as a new daddy. Recall, the star announced the arrival of his baby boy, Cebelihle with baby mama, Zola Nombona in May 2020 and ever since then, he has been over the moon.

Being a first-time daddy, he is really enjoying himself with his baby. Thomas shared a beautiful snap of himself with Cebelihle as he clocks five months old.

In his post, he also appreciated his lover, Zola for giving him such a beautiful “treasure”

Thomas Gumede will be a father soon.

Award-winning actor and director Thomas Gumede is expecting his first child. The star shared the exciting news with snaps of his unborn child’s ultrasound scans on social media.

In the lengthy post, Thomas shared the emotional moment he found out his girlfriend was pregnant. He said in part; “I remember clearly the day I found out about you. Your mother looked at me and said “I’m pregnant” and then proceeded to cry. I understood it was tears of joy, anxiety, excitement, disbelief, love and the small realization that life will never be the same again.

He added; “I have felt waves of emotions every time I think of you and every time you respond to my voice or my touch. But more importantly, you have given me something that I couldn’t give myself. I have been fortunate to live the life I have, a life of doing what I love with intense passion. All my achievements and all my ambitions still couldn’t give me what you have. You have given me PURPOSE.

Thomas ended off sharing that he is expecting a baby boy saying in part; “I promise you that I will do everything in my power to give you the best life opportunities, to smother you with love and kisses until you’re old enough to tell me to stop! I’ve felt love, but never like this. Woza mfan’wam, sik’lindile. Thomas Gumede is expecting his first child! Congratulations!
