Lady Zamar woke up to yet another social media uproar after the rape case she opened against Sjava, was thrown out but the NPA. The Collide hitmaker had opened a rape case against Sjava in 2019 at a local police station, which was then handed over to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). It was discovered yesterday that the case was actually dismissed two weeks ago.

Limpopo police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe, confirmed to Sowetan Live that the case against Sjava was declined for prosecution on November 5.

“Last year the case docket was handed over to the senior public prosecutor for a decision. On November 5, the case docket was withdrawn by the director of public prosecutions at court,” he told the publication.

When the country learned of this new revelation, #LadyZamarMustFall started gaining momentum. This saw the Collide hitmaker facing another wave of social media bullying. Even though it has not been discovered whether musician Sjava is innocent or guilty, people have already drawn to their own conclusions.

Musician and activist Ntsiki Mazwai has expressed how heartbroken she is for Zamar because she has to face bullies whilst battling the alleged trauma she faced.

She and many other people continue lending their support to Zamar with many uttering the words, “I still believe her” and “I stand with Lady Zamar.

They say you must fall because like millions of women you couldn’t bring your broken soul as evidence….I’m sorry you’re going through this Zamar. Am so heartbroken,” Ntsiki tweeted

Mzansi Celebs Who Have Felt Ntsiki Mazwai’s Burn
If there is one celeb who doesn’t mind being in the limelight or ruffling people’s feathers, it is Ntsiki Mazwai. With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, she has seen it all and done it all. She has been around to see careers flourish and some crash and burn while still remaining relevant and especially controversial.

The poet, songwriter and musician most famous for her outspoken thoughts that are regularly shared on Twitter as well as her podcast, where she hosts her regular talk shows. Ntsiki Mazwai is always mixed up in some controversy because she always has an opinion about everything happening in current news or mainstream media, which many people do not accept. She has her ways of telling the truth without holding anything back.

These 5 ZAlebs are just some of the many who have been at the receiving end of her insults.

Proverb

Like everyone else, poor Proverb didn’t see this one coming, when Ntsiki Mzwai not only said Proverb is no better than the late ProKid when it comes to rapping. Ntsiki took it an extra mile and threw insults at Proverb saying he does not stand for anything.

“Proverb has NOTHING on pro. Rapping in English always excites shallow minds. You’re clearly not that deep babe. Proverb doesn’t even stand for anything,”

Connie Ferguson

Poor Connie, or should we say rich Connie also took some unsuspecting shots from Ntsiki Mazwai, after Ntsiki made it clear that the entertainment industry mogul has zero talent. Tweeps were engaged in talks about Mzansi’s talented on-screen couples and mentioned Rapulana Seiphemo and Connie Ferguson, to which Ntsiki made sure her comments weren clear.

“Coming back to my Twitter, I don’t think Connie Ferguson is a phenomenal actress. I think she is a pretty girl who is likeable and it’s fine. I don’t take anything away from her but I don’t think she’s an amazing actress,”

Bonang

It is no big secret that Ntsiki Mazwai doesn’t like Queen B as well, she has made spicy remarks about her on many occasions and isn’t shy to do it when Tweeps are busy celebrating Bonangs many successes. The poet and musician took direct jabs at Bonang and questioned her ‘mogul’ status after the launch of the newest offering from her House of BNG range, the BNG Nectar.

“”It baffles me how you can be a business mogul but your contribution is posting pics in sunglasses and outfits…. But you never post entrepreneurial posts that a person in your position would. If the journey was real.”

Somizi

These two have a long and spicy history, both of them equally veterans in the entertainment industry, they have never really gotten along, which might be more of Ntsiki’s fault than it is SomGaGa’s. Ntsiki was up very early in the morning to drag a probably sleeping and very rich Somizi for reasons only known to her.

“”Lol it’s cute if u think people like Somizi will make history…. Maybe the old Somizi who had a craft. But the new Somizi is just gonna be rich in this lifetime but won’t make history. Money and wealth doesn’t make history unless you CREATED something.”

We could compile a book of all the people that have felt Ntsiki’s controversial remarks but we would probably run out of space. Ntsiki needs to rest! Rest!

Ntsiki Mazwai doesn’t rest at all! Sis woke up in the early hours this morning to drag Somizi, who was probably sleeping on his expensive bed in his luxurious mansion. Meanwhile, Ntsiki made sure to let everyone know what she thinks of Somizi.

— Ntsikizayiboni (@ntsikimazwai) November 3, 2020
What could have been a peaceful Tuesday turned out to be very unpeaceful one on the Twitter streets, simply because Ntsiki Mazwai decided to drag yet another ZAleb today.
Capitalism gave us celebrities to distract us from real issues affecting us…. Who is the Somizi of white people?? Or it’s just us who celebrate empty vessels who shout loudly??

— Ntsikizayiboni (@ntsikimazwai) November 3, 2020
Ntsiki, being her usual self didn’t hold back at all and told everyone what exactly is on her mind.

“Lol it’s cute if u think people like Somizi will make history…. Maybe the old Somizi who had a craft. But the new Somizi is just gonna be rich in this lifetime but won’t make history. Money and wealth doesn’t make history unless you CREATED something.”

It is still not clear why Ntsiki decided to attack Somizi, who is yet to respond, but she clearly couldn’t care less about what he might think or say. Poor SomGaGa isn’t the first ZAleb that Ntsiki decided to throw major shade at, a few days ago she dragged Sizwe Dhlomo for being privileged.
Ntsiki Mazwai Drags Somizi
In a long Twitter thread on Friday, 30 October 2020, Ntsiki looked back on Sizwe’s comment that claimed Black South Africans have it better than any other race in the country. Referencing the tweet, which was made back in May 2020, she stated, “This was the most idiotic representation. When Sizwe called his parents to solve his Twitter wars…. He lost respect. That’s why he is catching so many Ls lately.” It’s no secret that she has never taken a liking to Sizwe, and now she is outright stating that she has no respect for him at all.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Ntsiki Mazwai has a list of celebrities who have offended her in the past and she is dealing with them one by one. his morning was just Somizi’s turn, the two have a history of insulting each other and everyone in the industry knows that they don’t like each other at all.

Hopefully, one day they will crush their beef and Ntsiki can be invited onto Dinner at Somizi’s, until then, we watch from the sidelines.

Ntsiki Mazwai has decided to defend Kelly Khumalo following the claim she has something to do with Senzo’s death. She questions why Kelly Khumalo was the only one being blamed for Senzo Meyiwa’s death. Ntsiki however slammed trolls for dragging Kelly out because she was in the house when the incident happened and of course, other people were there with her in the house.

Taking to social media, Ntsiki tweeted:

“Am I the only one who finds it odd that ONLY Kelly Khumalo is catching heat… When there were so many of them in the house?”

Many had mixed reactions towards Ntsiki’s post and they took to the comment section to share their views.

Whilst social media is singing Bonang Matheba praises and applauding her latest major career move, Ntsiki Mazwai has decided to once again reign on her parade. The poet and musician took direct jabs at Bonang and questioned her ‘mogul’ status after the launch of her newest offering from her House of BNG range, the BNG Nectar.
Controversial Poet Ntsiki Mazwai Drags Bonang
Bonang’s new drink is expected to be summer’s newest refreshing drink, and is sure to be as successful as her previous products from her MCC range. In a social media post shared on the businesswoman stated, “Introducing, my new baby- BNG Nectar!! One of SA’s first true sparkling wines in a can… Get ready to turn ANY location, into an occasion!!”.

“Jc le roux recently launched champagne in a can…” Ntsiki tweeted, downplaying the hype surrounding Bonang’s recent launch.

Ntsiki has yet again questioned Bonang’s success and the true origins of House Of BNG, saying she is just the face of the brand and only collects portions of the profits, as she does not truly own it.

Bonang is in a partnership with Woolworths and Ntsiki believes her over-hyped success is put on a pedestal because she only makes money for white people. “There is black success it’s just usually not the one hyped- the one hyped is making money for whites and put on a pedestal,” she tweeted.

The poet is not done with Bonang as she dedicated a few tweets at her and added that she has no real influence for a “media mogul.” She even took shots at celebs with flashy cars saying they do not own them but they are sponsored by large companies, also questioning how deep their pockets really are.

“That product belongs to some white dude. It had always been on the shelves and it was doing badly. Bonang is a Woolworths ambassador. And the whites rebranded. Sobona phambili,” she tweeted.

She also called Bonang out on her lack of assisting other entrepreneurs, instead she posts pics “with sunglasses and outfits.”

“It baffles me how you can be a business mogul but your contribution is posting pics in sunglasses and outfits…. But you never post entrepreneurial posts that a person in your position would. If the journey was real.”

“Whites will forever have us celebrating the black they have given the one crumb too… Not even the loaf of bread. And we clap and point to black excellence and tell ourselves not to be jealous of people who don’t even voken own the bread,” Ntsiki shared.

Ntsiki Mazwai: All white people are racist

Controversial media personality, Ntsiki Mazwai, is back at it again with her comments that have people riled up, and this time, she is attacking the white community as a whole. Giving not one-person leniency from her comment, Ntsiki captioned her Twitter video with, “I’m starting to think ALL white people are racist.

Ntsiki Mazwai: All white people are racist

Her video saw accusing white South Africans of taking up space in mainstream platforms, which she claims rightfully belongs to the black community. She believes that have a woman citizen represent the majority is completely inaccurate and shows a sense of racism from those who believe that they belong in that position.

Ntsiki Mazwai: All white people are racist

Ntsiki stated, “I don’t have a problem with white people creating their own spaces. It’s healthy for white people to have their own space. What I find toxic, unhealthy and racist is white people usurping mainstream platforms and thinking that they represent the majority. It makes no sense to me why a Steven Grootes should be on SA FM in the morning, it makes no sense to me why a Leanne Manas should be on Morning Live in the morning, when this country is BLACK dominated.

Ntsiki Mazwai: All white people are racist

If they at least spoke one African language, then it would make it a bit easier but for the fact that white people have usurped mainstream platforms that rightfully belong to the majority… speaks a lot about white supremacy, and white people thinking that they are not racist when they actually are.

It’s no secret that Ntsiki has voiced her issues with Leanne Manas in the past, as she believes that her position as a head presenter is completely unwarranted and should be given to a black person. Back in 2018, Ntsiki Mazwai sent out a scathing attack towards SABC news anchor – Leanne Manas. Ntsiki labelled the SABC news anchor as mediocre and also added that Leanne has the advantage of white privilege.

In a polite response, Leanne made it clear that she held no animosity towards Ntsiki and hopes that they can one day meet so that Ntsiki will be able to know Leanne better as a person and not because of the colour of her skin.

Thereafter, in 2019, Leanne celebrated 15 years on the SABC show, and Ntisiki was right there to rain on her parade. She tweeted, “No I don’t think Leanne Manna is amazing at her job- I think she is just white. And enjoying the privilege. She can’t even speak indigenous languages. She is not African. Leanne is completely ignorant on black culture – this is straight white privilege in action.

Ntsiki Mazwai slams Mzansi Magic’s latest show Izangoma Zodumo – calls black people ‘monkeys’

‘I want to point out to black people that Christians and whites have never made a mockery of their spirituality,’ claimed Mazwai.

Although controversial poet and musician Ntsiki Mazwai is always upset about one thing or another, she woke particularly incensed by Mzansi Magic’s latest show, Izangoma Zodumo.

The show, which aims to give a glimpse into the everyday lives of modern traditional healers, debuted its first episode on Wednesday evening.

As is normally the case with new shows, Izangoma Zodumo trended overnight well into Thursday morning and that is how it caught Mazwai’s attention.

She didn’t actually watch the show’s first episode but she is unhappy about the existence of the show nonetheless.

“So… I’m waking up and seeing this TV show that was on yesterday, Izangoma Zodumo, and I want to point out to black people that Christians and whites have never made a mockery of their spirituality,” began Mazwai.

She went on to claim that Jews and Hindu people have never done so either.

Mazwai accused black people of being damaged to the point that they mock themselves for the amusement of white people by creating such shows and she believes the show will provide a springboard for those who wish to disrespect African spirituality and the existence of sangomas.

She even went as far as calling black people “monkeys”, which offended some of her followers.

Mazwai is even baying for the blood of the show’s producers whom she believes need to be “named and shamed” for what they have done in creating the show.

According to the trailer, the show follows Makgotso “Gogo Maweni” Makopo and Thandiwe Prudence Magagula (aka Gogo Ngwemabala) as they juggle being healers and living their day-to-day lives as normal while fulfilling their spiritual obligations.

Mazwai’s polarising statement sparked a conversation about such content as well as comments about her claims that people from other religious and ethnic backgrounds do not “mock” their origins.

@MaShaneKura – You are clearly clueless abt art and entertainment. There’s been countless controversial works by whites over the years which offended a lot of people becos their depiction of religion and culture. Watch Southpark or Borat or most stand-up comedians like Louis Ck ffs.

@Eve00356194

My daughter was telling me how much she loves indians soapies, their culture and how they respect it. That broke my heart. I was never taught or made to understand our culture and have little to teach http://her.My aunt would always make it seem like sangomas a witches

@MabenaMskay
My daughter also loves Indian stories and their culture. She even wants me to buy her their clothes, that made me want to know my culture and traditions. If we don’t know who we are how will our children pride themselves in their own skin?

@Mama_wa_Rea

We just had heritage month but afterwards we seeing ppl who are so disrespectful towards beliefs one’s has, it’s sad nd embarrassing how our black nation looks upon traditions, beliefs nd ancient ways of doing things..I agree with you on this one, the producers needs to be shamed

A new Mzansi Magic show premiered last night at 20:00 called Izangoma Zodumo and Mzansi, especially Ntsiki Mazwai was highly unimpressed. The poet who is not afraid of stating her facts posted a scathing video where she slams the whole cast of the series as well as the producers, saying they blatantly disrespect African cultures.

Ntsiki Mazwai Slams ‘Izangoma Zodumo’ Producers – Starts A Petition To Have The Show Cancelled

“The jews are not ridiculing their own spirituality. The Christians are not ridiculing own their spirituality. But the self-hating monkeys are making a mockery of ubungoma on TV. Pathetic and Sad. Blacks need psychological help,” she tweeted.

“Izangoma Zodumo” is all about the lives of two traditional healers Prudence “Ngwe” Magagula and Makgotso “Gogo Maweni” Makopo. This show gains viewers access to the lives of these women who are both gobela’s (traditional healers and initiators.)

After the premier of the series, Ntsiki posted a 2-minute clip where she bashes the shows for disgracefully depicting black people as damaged for making a mockery out of their traditions.

“I want to point out to black people that Christians and whites have never made a mockery of their spirituality, the Jews have never made a mockery of their spirituality …so black people are you that damaged that it has reached a point where you make a mockery of your ancestors and African spirituality live on TV?

“How much do you hate yourselves, for you to look down on yourselves and let the entire world look down on you,” she said in the video.

She then went on to gun for the producers who are undermining black people.

“You don’t even the brilliance or foresight to teach what African spirituality is, instead you go drag yourselves on the floor like freaking idiots and you think everybody must clap for you after you have undermined your own spirituality,” she said.

Ntsiki then added: “I want to find out who the producers of the show are and we must name and shame so that they may never think of creating content that embarrasses us like this … I’m so ashamed and so embarrassed of being black this morning because black (people) hate themselves so much that they would embarrass themselves and ridicule their spirituality.”

The songstress even went as far as creating a petition which calls for Mzansi Magic to stop airing the series.

“Mzansi Magic: Stop a reality show that discriminates our African tradition and the traditional healing. – Sign the Petition!” she advised.

Ntsiki Mazwai leaves the big city for the farm

Forever in the headlines for speaking her mind and offending someone, it’s refreshing to note that she can Tweet about positive things for once. The veteran artist, who has been in the entertainment industry for 20 years now, has always spoken her mind and caused controversy.

Ntsiki Mazwai leaves the big city for the farm

Ntsiki Mazwai recently Tweeted her move away from the concrete jungle, to a quiet and secluded farm in an undisclosed location.

“I don’t have the words to extend the deepest gratitude to @OscarMagud and L & M removals for moving me from one stage of my life to the next…. From uptown girl to farm girl STILL I RISE….. My faves I am safe I am happy about my decision. Thokozani”

Ntsiki Mazwai causes tension, says Nomcebo Zikode is not getting enough from Jerusalema

Ntsiki Mazwai causes tension, says Nomcebo Zikode is not getting enough from Jerusalema

Ntsiki Mazwai has done it again and managed to drive conversation following supporting an inflammatory statement about the alleged lack of recognition that Nomcebo Zikode gets.

It all started when respected activist, Beverley Palesa Ditsie, took to Twitter and suggested that there is an “erasure of black women.” To prove her point she suggested that that was the case with the mega hit, “Jerusalema,” by Master KG, featuring Nomcebo Zikode. She alleged that Nomcebo does not get celebrated as much as Master KG, and that it should “Jerusalema” by Nomcebo Zikode, featuring Master KG because she wrote and sung the lyrics.

Mamiya first supported the statement, and stirred the pot when she continued on the tangent by discussing equity. Ntsiki suggested that Nomcebo should get equal pay as Master KG from the song considering that she wrote the lyrics and sung the song. Ntsiki could not resist adding some classic shade by suggesting that if Nomcebo does not get a 50% share, then Master KG should pay her like a “session artist.” The supposition is that the song would not have been as big as it is if it were different- probably male vocalist- had been the vocalist and songwriter.

Many have questioned the part where Ntsiki and Dr Beverly categorically state that Nomcebo is not acknowledged for her contributions. Rarely did you ever see that when Jerusalema is acknowledged, especially by local outlets and publications that Nomcebo Zikokde is not acknowledged for her contribution to making that song a hit. Moreover, Master KG has continued to promote, tag, and endorse the musical efforts of Nomcebo. Master KG has been conscious to always either tag or hashtag Nomcebo when Jerusalema achieves another milestone.

The only “people” not have acknowledged Nomcebo were the international nods that Master KG received. When Cristiano Ronaldo shared the video that has the song as the soundtrack he did not credit anyone for the song, including Master KG. But when Janet Jackson did show the song love, she credited Master KG, but not Nomcebo. But to the point that many South Africans have made to Ntsiki’s supposition, is that Nomcebo has been acknowledged and as a result has never once come out with negativity directed at Master KG.

Moreover, Nomcebo is signed to Master KG’s record label. During the release of her debut album, “Xola Moya Wam’,” Master KG also used his social media platforms to promote the album. When the album achieves milestones, Master KG has publicly acknowledged the feats and congratulated Nomcebo.
