Reality television star Nonku Williams is arguably the biggest star to come out of the Real Housewives of Durban. Nonku, who’s outspoken in nature has become a fan-favourite and the main reason fans tune in to the show Fridays on Showmax.

Nonku Williams is the founder of Ashes to Beauty Winery and has business interests in construction. She is a divorced mom of three. One of her children is the daughter of late gospel star Sfiso Ncwane.

Last week it was reported that Nonku was involved romantically with legendary South African sports broadcaster Robert Marawa. As the reports intensified, Nonku saw it fit to address these allegations personality.

She said she was introduced to Mr Robert Marawa at the Easter Polo by her PR lady who has recently acquired her portfolio.

She felt it was good for both parties to know each. But mostly because she knew Robert has an appreciation of red wine and that she (Nonku) owns a wine brand (A2B wine).

On the Saturday when they were spotted together, she was invited to the Standard Bank Polo in Joburg. And had promised to give Roberther red wine collection.

“Clearly the wine was superb and Robert appreciated it and gifted me with his MSW(Marawa Sports Worldwide) memorabilia… other than the work, there’s nothing to say. We are colleagues supporting each other’s businesses,” wrote Nonku.

As Nonku continues to grow as a brand and a businesswoman, other brands have shown an interest in partnering with her. She has just partnered with E! Entertainment to celebrate this mother’s month.

Viewers finally got to see the highly anticipated Real Housewives Of Durban (RHOD) reunion this week. The two-parts reunion aired yesterday hosted by the TV and radio presenter Phat Joe.

The reunion left fans livid at how The Williams treated Ayanda. Nonku’s mom made an appearance at the reunion saying she got a special message for Ayanda from Mr. Williams, Nonku’s father.

She said Mr. Williams wants Ayanda to pay damages for Sfiso and Nonku’s daughter Nothile. She said this was Sfiso’s wish before he passed on.

Tweeps did not waste time to drag Nonku and her mother, many pointed out that there was no need for Nonku and her mother to address the issue on air. @TumeloMoipolai tweeted: “Nonku and her mom even the father!!! Are horrible, to pay for damages as if Ayanda was the one who made Nonku pregnant and to talk about an issue like that on live television, who the hell do they think they are Loudly crying face for sure Ayandas boys were so sad seeing mom like that.”
Nonku stated on the show that the reason they felt it was okay for them to address the matter on screen was that the matter was first brought up on the show.
Here are more reactions from Twitter

Fans were also disappointed by Kgomotso Ndungane’s absence at the reunion. Kgomotso previously told TrueLove Magazine that she did not have any plans to move forward with the show after the first season.

“The season has come to an end and everyone is leaving to continue with other commitments. It was great to be part of the show, meeting all the ladies and the production team as a whole. It’s been a great experience. The plan for me was always to do one season and move on to something else,” she told the publication.

Speaking to Newzroom Africa this morning, Kgomotso said she did not make it to the reunion because she was mourning the loss of her loved ones at the time of the reunion shooting.

Fans have also welcomed the good news that the show will be playing on Mzansi Magic every Sunday at 7 PM from May 2.

Mzansi Magic shared the news on their website: “…we are thrilled to bring The Real Housewives Of Durban S1 (RHOD) to our viewers every Sunday at 19h00 from the 2nd of May. The Real Housewives of Durban is set to keep viewers glued to their screens as the beautiful ladies will open their doors to share their daily lives of conspicuous consumption and splendors.”

The drama never seems to end with new reality television show, Real Housewives of Durban. After starting to show her true colours, fans are not impressed with Nonku and they haven’t been shy about their views. They’ve called her out for not being a true friend to Mabusi and thinking she’s above everyone else. Another real housewife also called out is Kgomotso.

After the very first episode of Real Housewives Of Durban premiered, we got introduced to Nonku who revealed that she is the late Sfiso Ncwane’s baby mama.

The reality show really had us intrigued, not only by the lavish lives these women live, but the drama that they bring. Nonku Williams is a businesswoman who is also the founder of Ashes to Beauty Winery. The interesting figure is also apparently into construction and is a mother of three. One of her three children, Nothile is the daughter of the late Sfiso Ncwane.

When she revealed this to Ayanda towards the end of the first episode of the reality series, Ayanda was startled by this revelation. Nonku also hinted that Ayanda knows of her but we would have to wait for the next episode to get more insight into the two women’s history.

Thanks to the Ncwane family, they made things more clear and speaking to Daily Sun, the late Gospel star’s mother revealed that Nonku and their grandchild used to visit them back home on the South Coast. However the last time they saw their granddaughter was when she was just learning how to walk.

After years of trying to find them, but failing to do so, Irene Ncwane is pleading with the businesswoman to bring the child back home as they miss her.

The family did confirm that Nonku and Sfiso were an item a long time ago, and when they broke up a baby was already in the picture. They also highlighted that the Gospel star dated Ayanda Ncwane and Nonku at the same time. Shortly after parting ways, Sfiso married Ayanda.

His widow also knew about the affair and lamented all this in her book she wrote in memory of the late Gospel star. Their time apart made Sfiso want to pursue another relationship with this woman Nonku and the birth of their child did not sit well with Ayanda.

We now understand why Nonku is not too fond of Ayanda and the constant eye-rolling, as well as the snide remarks she made, were indicative of that. When the ladies commended Ayanda’s bravery and her ability to be both a mother and a father to her children, she said it was not easy as her children need her.

Nonku said Ayanda was fake and giggled throughout her entire speech.
