So, it seems to be true that whenever women gather there is bound to be a 99% probability of drama? Well, what just happened on RHOD proves so?

The drama on the first part of The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) reunion, which aired on Showmax today (6 May) heated up as Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku lashed out at Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco.

LaConco is the “baby mama” and former fiancee of former President Jacob Zuma, who is a polygamist. Makhumalo is the third wife of polygamist Musa Mseleku. So, MaKhumalo thought that she would get along best with LaConco because she would understand her polygamous marriage.

However, LaConco seemed to shade MaKhumalo throughout the second season of the reality series. LaConco revealed that she had beef with MaKhumalo because she thought she was not genuine. She also revealed that she is friend’s with MaKhumalo’s sister-wife MaYeni and Tweeps assumed that this is where the issues between the pair started.

So, Donovan Goliath, the RHOD reunion host, asked LaConco if this was true and she denied it.

“Are you inheriting the beef from her sister wife?” asks Donovan.

“Absolutely not. It’s got nothing to do with MaYeni. Thobile and I… she knows there was a bridge we had to cross before. Maybe my weakness was, when I saw the cameras, my mind couldn’t quickly, maybe laugh… before we crossed that bridge,” she said.

MaKhumalo agreed that the beef was not inherited but she said LaConco had quite the bad attitude towards her. She went on to say that she was so surprised when she was offered a hug.

“I really never thought that she maybe inherited any beef. It was just her, she was just being her. Until this day I don’t remember being cold towards her, I really feel like she lied to herself until she believed her own lies,” she said.

“Honestly, she took it too far. I really think that she was trying to cover whatever attitude she comes with. She has been insulting me, she has been showing how much she hates me, she has been pointing her head like this. As a result I was very surprised and shocked when I saw her offering me a hug,” she continued.

The reality star went on to call LaConco a “devil” on earth.

“I was like, I have never seen this type of devil on earth. I’m being honest, how can you be so mean to me everywhere you get a chance. Then you see me for the first time, knowing that I have seen everything you have said and done and then you offer me a hug and call me sweetie,” she added.

THE biggest feud of the current season of The Real Housewives of Durban is between Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku and Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco.

LaConco is former president Jacob Zuma’s baby mama and MaKhumalo is one of the stars of Uthando Nes’thembu.

In the show’s last episode, LaConco bashed MaKhumalo during a conversation with friends and revealed the source of their conflict.

She said trouble started at the wedding of MaKhumalo’s husband, Musa Mseleku, to second wife MaYeni.

“I’m MaYeni’s friend. When I arrived at the Mseleku household, she welcomed us and was bubbly,” she said.

“Then, she came to Vuma FM, where I used to work, for interviews and she was cold. I realised she’s the type who pretends to laugh with you but once everyone is gone, she shows her true colours.”

MaKhumalo hit back, saying LaConco made it clear she hated her.

“Now, she is trying to use MaYeni as bait but it won’t work because MaYeni is my family.

“Her hatred toward me has nothing to do with MaYeni and everything to do with her past. She needs to heal. I guess she is saying all these things to heal from her past relationship,” she said.

“I’ve become a painful reminder of her failed relationship.”

MaKhumalo had a meeting with LaConco but nothing came of it.

“Her tone was not the same as it was when she spoke to her friends. She’s two-faced and people will soon see her,” said MaKhumalo.
