Strolling through the bustling streets of the renowned Big Apple, Lorna took to Instagram to capture her reaction and share the joyous milestone with her followers.

Lorna Maseko posted her daughter for the first time to wish her a happy second birthday.

Television personality and celebrity chef Lorna Maseko has never publicly acknowledged having a child until now.

Although her pregnancy is the worst-kept secret in South Africa, she managed to evade cameras for the duration of her pregnancy. Now, two years after her first child’s birth, Maseko is celebrating her baby girl.

Taking to her Instagram, she posted some highlights from her baby girl’s journey and wrote; “Happiest 2nd birthday to my beautiful daughter. You mean the absolute world to me and you make it ALL worth it…. You’re the smartest most beautiful little human (and extremely talkative lol) and I pray you may alway know the love and peace of God. Just know that I will ALWAYS be there for you!”

For years, Lorna Maseko has been rumoured to be romantically involved with the Economic Freedom Fighters’ Floyd Shivambu.

At the end of September 2020, tabloid Sunday World reported that she was pregnant with Shivambu’s child.

She hit out at the report at the time, calling it “truly disgusting” that people could report on things that weren’t “real”.

Maseko seemed to suggest that not only was she not pregnant but she may also have been struggling with reproductive health issues.

“Women suffer with many issues: fibroids (which I have), endometriosis & many others. You don’t know people stories-STOP IT!!” she said on Twitter at the time.

South African TV host Lorna Maseko is celebrating her daughter’s second birthday. Having denied rumors of pregnancy a couple of years ago, the chef confirmed that she has welcomed a child.

Rumors started swirling around two years ago that she was expecting her first child with EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu, but she debunked the pregnancy rumor.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a celebratory baby photo, wishing a happy birthday to her beautiful daughter. The TV host made sure to hide her daughter’s face in the montage she shared and also switched off comments on her post.

“Happiest 2nd birthday to my beautiful daughter. You mean the absolute world to me and you make it ALL worth it…. You’re the smartest most beautiful little human (and extremely talkative lol ) and I pray you may always know the love and peace of God. Just know that I will ALWAYS be there for you,” Maseko captioned the post.

Two years ago, screenshots of her Instagram live video were circulated on social media, which sparked the narrative. This follows after her fans noticed her protruding baby bump.

The screenshots opened room for speculation, and social media had a field day deciphering whether she was pregnant or not.

But things got intense when Sunday World ran with a story confirming that Lorna was pregnant. The publication alleged that the former “Top Billing” host was pregnant with the Economic Freedom Fighters’ married Deputy President, Floyd Shivambu’s baby.

The article alleged that the two had been in a secret relationship following Floyd’s divorce. In addressing the matter Lorna slammed the allegations that she was about to be a first-time mother.

Moreover, Lorna’s tweet seemed to suggest that the star might have problems conceiving children, therefore the suggestion that she is pregnant is triggering. In her words she stated that, “Women suffer with many issues, fibroids (which I have), endometriosis and many others. You don’t know people stories.”

While she debunked the pregnancy allegations, what tweeps found interesting was that she did not address the matter of whether or not she is dating Floyd Shivambu. The fact that she omitted to address the matter on her post, left many tweeps wondering if her silence on the matter was because the story at least got that fact correct.

Lorna Maseko shares a bit of what went down at Denise Zimba’s wedding ceremony

Mzansi celebrity chef, Lorna Maseko has taken to her social media to share a snippet from Denise Zimba and Jakob’s wedding ceremony.

The couple got married on the 9th of April 2022.

Taking to social media, she expressed her excitement as people from far and near came to celebrate her.

However, Lorna who was in attendance decided to give her fans an insight into what went down during the last two weeks.

The star said it was a beautiful celebration and she is happy to be part of it.

Lorna went on to pray for the couple as they enter the new phase.

Lorna Maseko welcomes first child with EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu

Celebrity chef Lorna Maseko and EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu have welcomed their first baby together.

Following months of speculation about Maseko’s pregnancy, sources close to the pair have claimed that Maseko gave birth to a healthy baby this month, solidifying her romance with the red berets’ second in command.

They thought the baby would be born next month. Floyd and Lorna are serious about each other, so this is good news for them. “Lorna has always wanted a baby, so she’s a happy mum,” the source said.

The baby is Shivambu’s fourth child and the media personality’s first.

She had not responded to requests for a comment by the time of going to press.

Shivambu evaded all questions sent to him, responding only with: “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Maseko, who was formerly a dancer, rubbished rumours in September last year that she was pregnant, saying she was suffering from fibroids.

“Let me nip this in the bud really quickly: I’m not pregnant. It’s actually evil! Women suffer from many issues: fibroids (which I have), endometriosis and many more. You don’t know people’s stories. Stop it!”she posted on her Instagram page at the time.

However, she sported what looked like a baby bump in an Instagram live video.

Another source revealed that Shivambu was very much in love with the former Top Billing presenter and had made it clear that he intended to spend the rest of his life with her.

“They live together in Fourways and have been dating since 2019. They used to attend a lot of social gatherings together and, at some stage, Lorna organised a surprise birthday celebration for him to show that she appreciates him,” a source said.

“Floyd also spoils Lorna rotten every chance he gets. They’re happy together.”

Maseko and Shivambu allegedly became close shortly after he had separated from his wife, Siphesihle Pezi, whom he married in 2017.

Maseko ended her six-year marriage to businessperson Gcina Lukhele in 2016.

The rumor mill started swirling the narrative following screenshot images of her Instagram live video were circulated on social media. The images clearly show a visible bump around Lorna’s tummy area. But maybe the celebrity chef had had one too many of her own supply which could have resulted in a bloated tummy, who knows. Whatever the case was her since on the matter opened room for speculation, and social media had a field day deciphering whether she was pregnant or not.

Lorna Maseko Bags A Culinary Icon Award

Celebrity chef Lorna Maseko has celebrated yet another milestone in her culinary career. The television presenter turned chef and an all-round media personality started her culinary career off with a cookbook and it has been upwards and onwards from there.

The culinary princess as some refers her to announced the wonderful news on her social media platforms. She posted a video of her holding her award, which was awarded at the Luxe Restaurant. She took home the coveted Culinary Icon Award 2020.

The chef held a glamorous cookbook launch at the biggest designer shopping arcade in Africa, Diamond Walk in Sandton City. She launched her cookbook, Celebrate With Lorna and some of Mzansi’s A-listers, amongst the likes of Ayanda Thabethe, Blue Mbombo, Basetsana Khumalo and Shashi Naidoo were in attendance.

“The book doesn’t really have that many dessert recipes but it has enough to satisfy the home cook. If anything it features a lot of ‘one-pot wonders’, reminiscent of my childhood”, says celebrity chef, Lorna Maseko,” explained Lorna.

Her cookbook did very well as it gained her two international awards. The book was crowned best celebrity chef cookbook and best international cookbook, at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

Expressing her excitement on social media, the chef wrote: “Oh my gosh – Just found out my cook book Celebrate With Lorna Maseko has won 2 awards with the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2020…This is the best news ever!!!!!”

It has been a while since Lorna has been on the news for her cooking career. Recently her love-life and pregnancy rumours hogged the headlines but she dismissed one of the rumours.

Lorna has been said to be romantically involved with the EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu. According to Sunday World, the politician’s marriage to Siphesihle Pezi has ended. It is alleged that she even left their matrimonial house in Fourways.

“That marriage ended just before the general elections. We just didn’t want to talk about it then because we feared that if it became known, it would affect the campaign of the party,” a source told the publication.

The source also confirmed Floyd’s relationship with the relatively private media personality.

“The truth is that the DP [deputy president] was married and the public knew about his marriage because it was well-publicised. Now the public must know that he is no longer married and he is resting with Lorna Maseko from Alexandra township.”

Lorna did not address these rumours, but she laid the pregnancy rumours to rest.

Lorna Maseko Gets Dragged Into Katlego Maboe’s Cheating Scandal

They say that when it rains it pours and it is currently pouring for famous television presenter, Katlego Maboe. yesterday he was exposed on a video that has since gone viral, for cheating on his spouse with his colleague and friend Nikita Murray.

His wife posted the video yesterday where she is seen questioning Katlego and eventually forcing a confession from him, the star can be seen to be very devasted by his actions as he even admits who he slept with, live on video. His brother-in-law made sure to expose the star and also tag all of the companies that he is working with/for. A move, that some tweeps have called an assassination of his career.

Lorna Maseko breathes fire over claims she was impregnated by EFF’s Floyd Shivambu

Media personality Lorna Maseko has lashed out against rumours that she’s pregnant after the speculation made headlines.

Lorna has kept her personal life mostly private after her divorce but she had no choice but to set the record straight after rumours that began from a recent Instagram Live video of hers had people saying she’s got a bun baking in the oven.

Sunday World reported that Lorna and her alleged bae and EFF MP Floyd Shivambu were awaiting their bundle of joy and that Lorna is reportedly already in her second trimester.

Lorna disputed the pregnancy to the paper and later took to Twitter to “nip” the situation “in the butt”…

“Let me nip this in the butt real quick! I’m not pregnant it’s truly disgusting that people can go on to create stories that are unreal — it’s actually evil!”

In just a few hours, her tweet had got over 200 comments and over 1000 retweets.

Most of her fans agreed with her that rumours like the one she was shutting down were insensitive, especially to the women who actually suffer from conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis.

Lorna, is not the first celebrity who has asked people to be sensitive with the pregnancy claims. Before she fell pregnant and announced the pending arrival of her own bundle of joy, Minnie Dlamini Jones had to ask people to stop creating pregnancy rumours about her too.

“Let’s trust in God’s timing for the arrival of my offspring. We also need to be cognizant of how insensitive it is to speculate about pregnancy. You don’t know my journey or what I’ve been through or go through. Let’s just think before we tweet please,” she said at the time.
