Jo-Ann Strauss has finally given her fans a good look at her handsome husband in celebration of their 10 year wedding anniversary. After a decade of keeping his identity a secret on social media, Jo-Ann Strauss is finally showing us the face of her husband; medical doctor Michael Held. And the special occasion also marks the couple’s 10 year wedding anniversary too!

The former Miss South Africa has been strict about keeping the identities of her family off Instagram, including that of the couple’s four children.

Jo-Ann Strauss is known to blur the faces of her kids or capture them from behind in pics posted on her social media. In a surprising move, Jo-Ann Strauss took to Instagram to post a picture of her and her husband on their wedding day, a decade ago. In the pic, the couple are joined by the beauty queen’s parents and sibling.

According to Buzz South Africa, Michael is a German-born orthopedic surgeon based in Cape Town. The couple reportedly met in 2015 and almost two decades later, are still going strong.

And just like their marriage, their wedding in 2012 at the Camps Bay Retreat Hotel was a private affair – with only 31 guests! Jo-Ann and Michael share four children together; a son and three daughters.

Model Jo-Ann Strauss mourns the death of her brother

Jo-Ann Strauss has taken to her social media to pay tribute to her late brother. Few days ago, the star announced her brother’s passing as she shared a photo of them together.

Jo-Ann did not give much details about her brother’s passing but she shared that he is the best brother she had.

In her post on Instagram, she said she is privileged to know him and thanked him for all what he did.

She also urge her fans to tell stories of her brother if they knew him.

Former Miss SA Jo-Ann Strauss hospitalised

Jo-Ann Strauss has taken to her social media to share that she is in a recovery state after she landed in the hospital for a few days. The star stated that the past few weeks has been really tough for her as she had to struggle to meet up to targets.

Jo-Ann said she is still in pains but she is on the mend.

“Where do I even start … what a crazy few weeks this has been. I landed up in hospital for a few days inbetween a work schedule that was grueling to say the least. I’m still in pain, but I’m on the mend. And most of my kids were also sick and I had to leave them to work after a few days.”

She stated that she did not want to share what she has ben going through but she had to let it know so people can be able to take care of themselves when necessary.

“The guilt. So, yes, I have been quiet and I didn’t want to share what I was going through as I don’t particularly like being vulnerable in public. But, I also realize that social media should extend past the pretty perfection and let one know that life isn’t always perfect, but we will survive. We have to look after ourselves and put ourselves first. We have to look past deadlines for work and focus on deadlines for our health. To all of you, I hope that in a small way, this message serves as a wake up call. Nothing is more important than your health. Mentally and physically.”

Jo-Ann Strauss Welcomes Baby No 4

Former Miss South Africa winner and Top Billing Host Jo-Ann Strauss is expanding her family, having recently welcomed her fourth bundle of joy.

Taking to Instagram the proud mother shared an adorable mommy and me photo of herself and her newborn baby girl, with a caption thanking the masses for their endless support and constantly keeping her and her family in their prayers.

The little one arrived on the same day as her husband’s birthday, making it all the more special, expressing how they are enjoying the family time and welcoming their latest addition to the family.
We are still in our little love bubble and slowly re-entering reality, but for now, this blissful bubble is just what we needed to get to know each other” Jo-Ann wrote.

Jo-Ann was part of the ‘Siyamitha gang” of 2020 as she revealed her pregnancy on Mother’s Day this year in a lengthy post sharing what the importance of motherhood represents to her.

“Being a mother is something I will never take for granted. And being blessed with our fourth baby later this year is beyond our wildest dreams.

The presenter had previously shared how supportive her 3 kids have been during her pregnancy and how excited they are to welcome their baby brother or sister.
