The businesswoman and former model Basetana brought the defamation case to court after both lawyers were present.

She also faces two counts of crimen injuria.

During her appearance, the state prosecutor said the Constitutional rights to dignity and privacy of the former Miss SA were infringed when she allegedly tweeted in 2018.

Jackie alleged that there was a sex video involving Basetsana and her partner Romeo, including a celebrity boy.

Speaking on The Lebo Lion show, Jackie said that many attempts are being made to destroy the truth about her existence.

Jackie said she kept quiet until she saw the picture of her abuser on a board looking for votes.

After seeing his face, Jackie said she went to report the case at a police station, but did not get any help.

She then went to another police station – and she faced the same response she got at first.

Speaking on her case, Jackie said: “There were ANC campaigns in FS, there were boards of faces of people to vote for, & I saw the guy who raped me there.”

Police statistics reported that 42 289 rape cases were reported in 2019 and 2020, which is an alarming number.

Despite many campaigns to reduce this number, we continue to hear and read about these cases on a daily basis.

If you are the victim of a rape, or know of someone who has been a victim, report the attack at your nearest police station in order to get the medical and psychological assistance required.

Author Jackie Phamotse has alleged that she was poisoned which lead to her miscarriage last year. This was during her interview with ZiMoja where she also revealed that she had been receiving death threats.

“I have received several death threats. I have been shamed publicly, taken to court, and most recently people tried to poison me,” she said.

“I got sick last year and had a miscarriage from being poisoned,” she said. “I was vomiting, sweating, had diarrhea and I couldn’t sleep, to a point where I needed to go to the doctor.”

Jackie has always been vocal about the dark practices in the industry. She recently blasted influencers for selling girls.

Jackie said this: “You are recruiting kids to sell them off for sexual slavery these young girls disappear and get sent across borders with no trace because what these influencers do is delete all traces of the conversation on Instagram direct messages, so the human trafficking can’t be traced back to them.

They auction off unsuspecting, desperate young girls to these human trafficking rings under the guise of inviting them to party in clubs only.”

“These influencers are so greedy that they would rather sell off girls because they want to keep up with the latest car and designer bag..” This is also on the backdrop of Cyan Boujee saying she got an R 50 000 girlfriend allowance from her older, married boyfriend, on Podcast and Chill.

“For example, when we talk about environments, in people’s houses, from the gate, something is poured at the gate. By entering the place you have inherited some kind of mouth (black magic). When you get into the house or the yard itself. There are things in that yard that have been planted that you don’t know, you inherit that. If somebody has died, and something was done to him, you inherit that and this is way before you have sex,”

“In a lot of these big houses, there are a lot of rooms people don’t go into. There are spaces that are not occupied and you are not invited to. For example, if you go to a person who has a snake in the house. It either keeps it in a locked room or a coffin. These coffins are usually in the backroom or a room that no one doesn’t enter,” she claimed.

Former slay queen, writer, businesswoman, and philanthropist Jackie Phamotse has sparked controversy following her recent tweet.

Phamotse wrote:

“One by one they will pay in blood. “

Phamotse did not mention any names but those who responded to the post were quick to mention that she was referring to celebrities who have passed on.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 4 celebrities have died.

Currently, Mzansi is mourning the death of another celebrity DJ Dimplez who died on Sunday after he collapsed.

DJ Dimplez’ death comes after the death of rapper Riky Rick who committed suicide on February 23.

Actor, Patrick Shai died early this year after he committed suicide and journalist Kuli Roberts also passed on after she collapsed.

DJ City Lyts also made headlines after he was shot dead recently.

Although she did not shed more light, if those who responded to Phamotse’s post are correct to conclude it’s celebrities’ death, it appears Phamotse is alleging that all these deaths that involve celebrities are not coincidental.

Phamotse’s post received mixed reactions as some were quick to dismiss her comment while some encouraged her to shed more light.

Some said she just wanted to promote her books.

In the wake of Mohale Motaung reportedly accusing his estranged husband Somizi Mhlongo of abuse, Jackie Phamotse has written an open letter to Mohale.

Somizi and Mohale trended for hours after a local publication published an article in which Mohale detailed alleged abuse incidents during an interview with the producers of Somizi’s reality show Living The Dream With Somizi, which were allegedly recorded.

Taking to Twitter, Jackie said she has been aware of the pain Mohale has had to endure and wanted him to take care of himself.

“Dear Mohale Motaung, don’t be scared any more! This is your life! They can’t bully you any more! We hear you! We have been seeing your pain, your sad eyes tell a story. Fight for your life back! And f*ck it! You deserve half of everything! Yes, I said it! But fix your self first!” she wrote.

The author went on to offer her help and assistance to Mohale, saying he needs to fight.

“You are the only one who knows the truth, you were young! But you took a chance and here we are! Now you need to fight, you need to save your soul. Don’t think you are alone. Look into your self and find strength, seek courage from God. When you ready I’ll be waiting to help.”

Recalling a tweet posted by Mohale earlier this year in which he made a comment about abusers, Jackie said it is important for people to remember the importance of the post.

“This tweet was so important and still is,” she wrote.

International award-winning author Jackie Phamotse has publicly called out the EFF leader Julius Malema, she is accusing him of being mum about the allegations against the internationally renowned DJ Nkosinathi Maphumulo popularly known as Black Coffee.

Jackie asked the Eff leader to clarify his stand on the matter, she tweeted: “Is your activism one-sided @Julius_S_Malema @EFFSouthAfrica? Is this you choosing sides? Did you not say you are against GBV? Yet you have said nothing about Black Coffee’s actions! …or just maybe your silence is open for interpretation?! When will you call your friend out”

Black Coffee’s ex-wife Enhle Mbali has opened a case against him, she is accusing him of physically assaulting her at her birthday party which was held at their marital home. Enhle appeared in Randburg Magistrates court earlier this week.

Many celebrities have shown their support for Enhle across social media platforms.

Jackie also touched on the case of influencer and MC Jackie Mcobothi who recently took to Instagram to share the abuse he suffered at the hands of her bf DJ Gukwa whose real name is Nkosinathi Basil Makhanya.

Showing her support for the influencer, Phamotse tweeted: “All these GBV cases and you all are silent! Why @Julius_S_Malema? How can you be mum! Start with your own friends! @JackieMcobothi we hear you! We feel your pain!”

On her lengthy Instagram post, Jackie Mcombothi revealed that for the longest time she had to represent a positive front trying to hide her reality. She said she was abused physically, emotionally, and financially.

“It affected me so bad to a point where I had to lock myself in my room and cry myself to sleep. Mentally I know I need help and I am willing to get help because I know I’m not okay,I come out as an abused woman, I come out as a victim of abuse. I decided to come out for the pain I’ve felt continuously and all the suffering, not being able to confide to anyone. His hands still on my body and his words of him still ring in my head. I’ve sacrificed my whole life for him and I’ve stood still because of me supporting him”

“Today I come out as being exhausted and tired of being abused by Nkosinathi Basi Makhanya (DJ Gukwa) somebody everyone sees as a perfect and sweet boyfriend on social media”

However, tweeps were not impressed by Jackie putting Malema on blast as they took to the comment section to call her out, here are some of the reactions.

“Uyamsukela kodwa uJuju, I don’t think he can attend to everything all at once. Some matters will take a back seat while he attends to those he sees as urgent. It is also your duty to fight GBV and he’ll join you along the way.”

“Are you scared to direct this to South African President, good people you didn’t vote for Malema now everything that happens in this country you direct it to him, you ask him to intervene?”

In an IGTV Live video that generated over 100 000 views, Jackie said: “I’m not saying all rich people live like this, no. I’m saying there’s a small portion of people who live like this consistently.
They will make you believe that they’ve got gigs, they’ve got endorsements.

“But behind that facade, there are four or five men who are funding this. They are consistently going to sangomas, they are consistently changing friends because the more the friends know, the trickier it becomes,” Jackie claimed.

Following the video, Jackie made it on the Twitter trends list. Some tweeps called her out for “seeking attention”, while others thanked her for opening up a much-needed conversation such as “ukuthwala”. Some even went on to say who they thought had snakes.

Soon after the video Jackie then took to social media again to say that people wanted to silence her.

She took to Instagram and said, “The Bare Nation is strong man. I don’t even have to say a damn thing. Thank you for defending me, honestly I was drained and need time to pray.
You are fighting my battles and it’s hard I know. But remember why we are doing this … we have to protect our youth because they don’t know better.

Jackie claimed Mzansi had “weak leaders” and that she was trying to do her best to help those she can.

“I promise you it’s painful to be the only one standing up and voicing out issues but I know someone needs help. Don’t let them silence us.

She revealed she was in “deep prayer” as some people want to see her voiceless. “I won’t give up now. I promise, please don’t give up on me.
