Popular South African DJ and record producer, DJ Tira and gospel star, Dumi Mkokstad have reconciled following the disagreement that happened between them at the Celebrity Soccer Games 2024.

Dumi frowned at Tira’s manipulative strategy which was utilized for the soccer game; he revealed that the Durban-based DJ went against the rules by using more than expected professional soccer players for the Gqom team.

Taking to Instagram, DJ Tira proved that there is no beef between him and the gospel artist. “Yima whoooo @dumi_mkokstadsa,” Tira captioned photos of himself and the minister.

Dumi Mkokstad wrote in the comment, “uDumi unenkani ..: love and peace my brother.”

Prophet sees DJ Tira and DJ Maphorisa being involved in car accidents

Well-known South African stars, music producers, DJ Tira and DJ Maphorisa’s deaths were predicted by a prophet named Obey Tichafa Mukanhairi.

Prophet Obey is famous for predicting the deaths of great people, a majority of which come to pass.

It was said that five days before Malome died in a fatal car accident Tichafa foresaw the death and announced it on social media, but it was taken with levity.

Taking to Facebook, he shared the names of the DJs and prayed for them.

“Two South African artists who are in the track of accidents 1. Maphorisa 2. Tira. These people can avoid this by seeking answers from God, and protection from him without even talking to me. We pray for them,” he wrote on Facebook.

The prophet further advised that Tira seek the face of God to avert the accident.

‘For example, if I see this Imminent impending disaster on DJ Tira and he seeks God he will live, this will be the most tragic ending. Watch it,” he wrote.

DJ Tira says ‘no ID, no entry’ at his new studio

Well-known South African DJ, record producer, and businessman, DJ Tira says no ID, no entry at his revamped studio.

Mthokozisi Khathi, popularly known as DJ Tira, suffered a robbery three months ago at his studio in Durban North, when thieves stole expensive equipment including studio monitors, keyboards and microphones.

Early this week DJ Tira took to his social media page to document the revamping of his studio, posting: “God we trust, Afro studio revamped. Ready to create more magic with amazing talent.”

The Singenzejani hitmaker told TshisaLIVE his challenge was being unable to record music.

“I had to put serious security measures in place because I didn’t want to experience the same ordeal again which resulted in setbacks in music production. My security was compromised and I didn’t have CCTV cameras. Now I’ve made sure my security is tight and people coming to my studio will register with their names. It’s going to be proper stuff,” he said.

“I’m not going to let people I don’t know to come near my studio. People should make plans when they come, they must bring their ID book or card because I am not messing around. I will keep records of everyone who comes to my studio. It was a terrible learning curve for me, I’ve learnt security is important.”

While he was insured, his cover did not extend to the full cost of the repairs, he said.

“Insurance tried to help me but it took me halfway and I had to go all the way because I wanted it to look proper, make it nice and fresh — ngoba manje ziyakhala [because now it’s up]”.

DJ Tira said he is now also extra cautious of people who hang around him and at his house.

“I’ve procured a 24-hour armed guard service and there will be no ID, no entry, Akudlalwa manje.”

With the implementation of the improved security measures, he’s ready to refocus on his work.

“I’m looking forward to making music again and making my fans happy on the dancefloor through my music.”

DJ Tira allegedly rapes upcoming music artist Luke. DJ Tira has been called out for taking advantage of a young woman who wants a spotlight in the music industry. MDN News reports that a woman whose name is Luke Ntombela went public about how the Durban-based DJ slept with her without consent.

“She got too intoxicated, and she blacked out, woke up next to DJ Tira, and looked like something happened. According to screenshots, the DJ continued to “touch her” inappropriately despite her objections.

The DJ is an OG in the industry and he is highly respected in the game. The music star has been all about music and business, however, he made a shocking revelation with his sister Thabile on social media. Screenshots that showed the alleged witch chatting with a third person were revealed.

DJ Tira fires employee due to misuse of Afrotainment’s resources

DJ Tira releases a statement to announce the departure of Senzo Shezi due to his misuse of the company’s resources. Senzo, famously known as Msenzisto has been working with Afrotainment for 9 years and familiarised himself with the game.

However, in the statement released on Wednesday morning, the company had to let him off due to the integrity of the company.

“It is with regret that we announce the departure of Mr Senzo “Msenzisto” Shezi, effective immediately. Following an internal investigation, it has come to our attention that Mr. Senzo Shezi has engaged in behaviour that is inconsistent with the standards and values of Afrotainment,” reads the statement.

“At Afrotainment, we prioritize transparency, integrity, and respect in all our business practices. The behaviour exhibited by this employee is not reflective of the values that we uphold. As a result, the decision has been made to part ways with him.”
